@Malintex_Terek:
It's a troll, Deltron!
No troll writes that much without showing they care about what they're saying.
And here's his new PM.
I actually think Naruto is better than One Piece .
Yeah no fucking kidding, you sent me a message about it remember?
You can call it "Different" all you want.
Fairly certain I used stronger descriptions than that but alright.
But really, that difference is low quality.
I believe this is roughly what I said actually.
However, Oda can get away with it as One Piece really isn't meant to be taken that seriously.
One Piece is high quality in everything but plot originality and occasioanlly combat pacing.
Funny thing is when those things aren't the focus of quality they don't become what the manga relies on.
Also there's something called "execution" of plot elements you clearly have no idea exists.
Everything from the heros, villains, and fights is meant to be light hearted, "fun", and just not very serious.
You skimmed the entire damn series didn't you.
Because that's some bullshit right there.
You can argue about the emotional stuff and blah blah and I'm sure you will. But overall the series is far more of a comedy then anything.
No it's far more adventure then anything. With action, melodrama, and comedy falling in behind that on roughly equal stratospheres.
That is probably the major reason I dislike it…I just got so frustrated with the amount of comedy he throws into moments which I thought were meant to be "serious".
Then your a child who can't emotionally multitask yet.
But anyway, I mean sure he shows talent in drawing, all manga artists do…But I seriously know of at least 2 people who can draw better.
Alright now seriously, this just isn't an argument you hear anymore about One Piece, because it's absolutely retarded, this is some "YO IS SAW THE DUB ONCE AND READ THAT CLOWN STORY THIS DUD E DRAW WORSE THEN MY FREND" shit that was everywhere three years ago.
I'm not even dignifying this with a rebuttal.
nyway, it's not "a few pieces of humour here and there". Comedy is the main aspect of the series.
You've never actually seen a comedy have you.
Everything from hero interaction, villain interaction, to fights is comical the majority of the time.
AND DATS ALL IT IS FANBOI
So fucking what?
Look at all the final fights of any arc, if it be Alabasta, skypedia, or the current CP9…They're all comical in nature.
Well aside from this revealing comment I bolded, the above is complete and utter bullshit. I mean not even remotely is this true. Your just lying now.
Also, we have the chapter covers. Many hail these as "Genius" but I can't stand them. Again we see villains being made into jokes. Mr. Crocodile, who I actually took seriously, is now involved in some wacky fun adventure…It's just ruining the character.
Your a fucking loser lol, OMG THE CHARACTERS HAVE TO BE STATUES ALL DA TIME, stop bothering me and go jerk off to Gundam Wing or some shit.
There's also no suspense..
Nigga if your reading shonen action for suspense…
While most shonen series have an issue with death, One Piece has taken it to a new extreme. This problem has completely ruined the previously rare dramatic moments, most famously the bird man blowing up.
How about Chouji oozing about twenty metric tons of death symbolism on us after eating a suicide pill, then being fine after some hospitalization, or there's Neji, or Hinata, or…
I've pretty much read all of One Piece
No honestly, I don't think you have.
"skimmed a few years ago" maybe, bur read? Haw, good one.
, chapters(Skimmed the superjail stuff)
You've skimmed everything.
to and it was a struggle to get through every step of the way and took me over a year to finish due to its sheer size combined with the fact I quit it so many times out of disgust. I think I've seen enough to judge it.
And within one day you've revealed all that time you spent was clearly wasted with you learning nothing.
Ain't that a bitch.
Oh and I'd rather have a badass villian like Crocodile than some Michael Jackson reject ie Orochimaru.
Crocodile was an underhanded sleazeball, since when is that badass.
Crocodile was pretty upsetting…I mean he was the 2nd best villian I've seen in the series but he was still so so when compared to other Shonen series....
lol, who was the first, it was Lucci wasn't it.
He had little if any depth and lacked the sort of "insane yet brilliant" which other characters like Aizen, Orochimaru, or Sasori had.
Aizen is a gigantic godawful horrible antagonist and Sasori was a boring loser who was the first sign that Akatsuki was going to turn out dissapointing.
And Oro has sucked ass since he lost to the third Hokage.
You have awful shallow taste in something, and think stoic personalityless statues are a sign of good writing/characters, shocker!
I guess people don't always like insanity though…
You've never actually seen an insane villain have you.
Especialy if your citing fucking Aizen.
As for the other villians, they make me want to shoot myself. One of Oda's greatest flaws is destroying a decent character with a hidious apperance. I can accept Buggy, he wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Kuro was actually enjoyable…My favorite character in the series.
Y'know, somehow saying Kuro is the best P villain is even more revealing then saying Lucci.
Kuro?? Fucking Kuro??
Shame Oda didn't know what to do with him. Don Krieg was just boring, and Arlong would of been ok if he didn't look like shamu on a vacation.
This dude seriously has no taste at all.
I mean Oda is a respected artist…He can draw better then this.
Character design is a completely different subject then art skills moron.
Art design is among the most important (the most important being plot) aspects of manga.
Plot is far from the most important thing in aspects of shonen action.
Your a fucking Naruto fan, you should know this.
The art design of One Piece is very mediocre at best.
It's by far the best in SJ.
As for plot, he can draw up some semi-complicated story arcs.
Whoa whoa whoa, when has Oda done this?
..But I don't like how the entire story changes each arc.
And this doesn't even happen.
The pirate king and Gold rogers treasure are not influencing the plot at all really.
What about the million other important plot points that do.
Oda needs to try introducing more then the same 6 basic characters into each arc.
Who?
Lastly, I think some people take this series and turn it into something it isn't. I think it's meant to have a "fun wacky adventure time!" theme to it. Oda himself says he doesn't put death in because it's too depressing and that his favorite villian was Buggy (a joke character). Many people seem to make it out to be some beautiful and mature story…Now Naruto is far from mature as well. But I would say it is certainly more so then One Piece.
Naruto doesn't have an ounce of maturity to it.
OP does in it's melodrama occasioanlly.
Your horrible and can't argue your way out of a paper bag.
