I found this interesting little boy who I swear is wearing a shirt with Croc's portrait on it.
Excellent. In the other scene with Mr. Beans pleading the white blob by his head looks even more like a hook.
Marklar
Ivotas' single sentence more or less destroys anything anyone could say negative about Haki.
Just fucking wait.
It's not something Oda pulled out of his ass, nor is it a catch-all technique.
And it sure as fuck isn't DEM.
It's a sign that we're ending the first half of the journey.
When Oda says 'New World', the man plans to make good on his word. It's going to be a brand new game and it's going to involve Haki. Sure, for a while we'll see how it can knock out preeeeetty FUCKIN' tough people in the first half, but we're going to see all of that come crashing down as it becomes far more complex and the villains or adversaries become able to deal with Luffy's growing ability.
Yes, growing.
First we had BB who could sense the latent ability?
Then Luffy takes out a large dumb animal?
Then he takes out a few female warriors?
Then he takes out a whole pack of insane vicious mother-fuckin' wolves that could take down a great beast?
We're not being showed that for shits and giggles people. We're literally watching our main character grow as the story progresses instead of say…I dunno...spending a day or two under a waterfall and then overcoming someone who has lived decades longer than you.
What part of that isn't amazing?
And think, we don't even know SHIT about Haki yet. It's limits, where it comes from, how it may affect users, or what greater applications it may hold.
So like Ivotas said, just wait. It's going to be amazing.
