Laffite will probably fight Brook, his attitude and speed are also more similar to Brook's.
kuma used the paw paw fruit to REPEL danger from all of the straw hats, that's the reason why they where thrown into different places without danger and would explain why luffy didnt have a very very bad crash landing.
Maybe what Zoro's friends meant when they said Jimbei and Arlong were considered equals was that Jimbei, unlike Arlong, managed to avoid becoming a slave of the tenryuubito.
Maybe Jimbei simply considered the former slaves nothing but pets of the humans, and probably got rid of Fisher after getting tired of all the stuff about equality he tried to shove down everyone's throats. It wouldn't be surprising if he changed the mark of the sun in the case he had to betray Tiger Fisher to become a schichibukai.

Okay I could understand that if he just said it as his own guess but he's basing it off what Johnny and Yosaku said at AP. When they said they were equals I'm pretty sure they meant in the power/fighting/strength/rank kind of way not just as fishmen in general cuz they could then say that for all of them and not specifically single out Arlong and Jimbei.
Someone mentioned that the D's are also descendants from nobles…interesting theory especially if their titles were removed forcefully and each descendant from the D's are hunted. That could lead to why the void century was erased so that people won't recognize that people with D's in their names could be a noble.

Eh… I pretty much figured that someone had said it before. I haven't done a lot of theory searching, so I was aware that I was risking being completely unoriginal; I just wanted to put that one out there.

At this point, anything goes. No one else but the Sunny Pirates would know who was a slave at the point they were hiding their mark. One could easily use, that piece of information, against another. We mustn't forget "Jinbei unleashed some monsters on the East Blue" was said in the Arlong arc. Who knows… Maybe Arlong was forced into it, if he was discovered to be a slave he would have lost a lot of respect.

What i meant to say is zoro unknowingly used a very advanced form of haki in a imaginary visible form.Moreover,the kind of haki move luffy unknowingly used was like a shockwave(can't be seen,only be felt) which knocks anyone down who is not able to withstand it.Also,both of them use haki in a different way because of their personalities.
Conclusion:I wanted to say that zoro uses a form of haki that looks like having a physical form.

well on topic… in my opinion it could be something like "haki" cause if the amazons can put their ambition??? into arrwos, why shouldn´t zoro be able to do something similar with his swords...we´ll get solutions the moment luffy is on his way back with either Boa H or Margi... cause maybe they´ll recognize it as something like haki based technique and comment it or so...

ooh, how about, the One Piece is the ultimate form of haki? we can call it "Happy Haki", luffy learns it/acquires it and then spreads the love all over the world, once the WH has been toppled. much like those glosious LSD buses in california from the 60/70s….
I think that Haki is going to be some cheap way to explain how really powerful fighters can somehow beat a Logia user without utilizing the persons natural weakness.:getlost:

Are we assuming that he wasn't in control of his haki at the point he lost his arm? Or are we assuming that the mountain bandits were 'immune' to 'haki poisoning'? For surely if when Luffy was being held hostage, Shanks' and a few others, done an almost chemical warfare style bombing of the atmosphere with haki, it would've never lead to him losing his arm?
