It's happened to me a few times, moderately. I've had super strength, i've been able to run really freaking fast, things have appeared that i wanted to appear, and although it doesn't happen so much now, i used to fly around in my dreams a lot. Another 'moderate' case of it happening is when i basically think 'I want to go somewhere really awesome' and i end up on an edge, overlooking a huge waterfall flowing into space, or on a skyscraper amongst a bunch of erupting volcanoes. My desire to see fantastic worlds affects my dreams strongly, although i'm never completely in control.
Have you ever done `it`?

Here are some from 12 months agoā¦
I had a dream where I was being chased along with a girl that looks like Ino from Naruto by some crook with a shotgun. Suddenly, I am shrinked down to Microscopic size, then I follow some microscopic frogs from where the girl's leg and butt meet, down to her uterus, which looks like a pool. I see the frogs laying sperm inside that look like minnows, so I grabbed a handful, and I somehow escape. By the time I go to this Horseshoe Crab tank outside, the minnows are fried. So I take a bite outta the fried mass. Tastes like hamburger. The next thing I know, I'm standing face-to-face with the crook in his hideout, the girl trapped in the bathroom. When it seems like I'm about to be shot, I controllably wake myself up. The first thing I said that mornin' was "whew. Glad that's over."
here's another one...
I had a dream where me and my dad were going down to Mexico to search for the treasure of the Sierra Madre. I managed to get out of my dad's car somehow (while it was still moving) and began to peddle on a bicycle on the freeway at a speed of 100 miles per hour. It was ****ING AWESOME!!! Then I road all the way to Mexico where I found my dad in a small cabin the the woods near some rice paddies (?) along with Jimmy Stuart and Wilford Brimly, who were trying to help him find the gold. We looked all over the place for the damn gold but we couldn't find any. Just as we were about to give up it started raining and washed away the hillside surrounding the house, revealing a recently made concrete foundation! Well Wilford Brimly just flipped his lid and got out a rifle and started taking pot shots at us. He took off down a field but then the Teen Titans somehow stopped him and they began to battle. Now, against all odds, against all his Diabetus, against all FIVE TEEN TITANS WITH GOD DAMN SUPER POWERS AND LASERS AND CANNONS AND CRAP, HE MANAGE TO BEAT THEM!!! Hell, he even blinded Cyborg and me and Jimmy Stuart had to go and look for them later through the rice paddy (which was also right outside the Gone with the Wind house).
Anyway, by then when we finally found Cyborg's eyes and put them back in his head (he had four eye's by the way) and began the search once again for the psychotic Wilford Brimly we found out he was gone! But thankfully he left us some clues in the form of a giant hole in the hill right across from the Gone with the Wind house, so we went in and began the search again. And let me tell you, there were sentry guns, booby traps, giant boulders, and even mummies, YES, MUMMIES!!! So anyway, everyone else except me, Jimmy Stuart, and my Dad had to turn back (thanks a lot you useless titans!) so when we finally got to the end we found out it was all controlled by the damn TF2 characters! There was the pyro, soldier, the spy, there was everyone! Even more weird was that they were all wearing blue and that the demo man had a pair of shades. So I managed to get out of them that they were protecting a time portal and that Wilford Brimly had used it to go backwards in time! Jimmy Stuart and my dad went first because I had to take a leak (in a toilet that looked like King Tut's coffin nonetheless!) and followed them into the time portal. It was then I discovered I was left behind (again) and I once again took my bike and rode it at 90 to 100 miles per hour on the freeway to catch up to them.
We finally managed to corner Wilford Brimly on the end of a pier which over looked a sandy inlet, which seamed to be staffed by gun runners and whom supplied giant large bore sniper rifles to the tourists on the bridge so they could shot other tourists to death down below. I saw Wilford Brimly down there and put my massive rifle down on the end of the pier (which was basically a small wooden shack about 5x5 feet big and was filled with people ((P.S. the rifle was over 15 FEET LONG!!!))) and tried to shot Wilford Brimly. I tried my best but I just couldn't kill him not only due to the rifle being over 15 feet long but do to the other damn tourists who kept jostling me around so they could take the shot. Eventually Wilford Brimly got away up unto a section of waterfront housing from Amsterdam (which was a no shot zone) and looked as if he would get away when suddenly someone walks up to him and shots him from point blank range, killing him instantly! I used my scope to look at him and, low and behold, it was the Waco Kid from Blazing Saddles! He even gave me a wink before he went and walked off! It was AWESOME!!! Then both my dad and Jimmy Stuart congratulated me for trying to shot Wilford Brimly and then Jimmy went and gave me some Cotton Candy...
And then a woke up to my dog licking my face.
So yah... I now know how they came up with the game "Banjo-Kazooie".

It's only happened to me once back in 7th grade, and was one of the scariest things I've gone through.
In the dream I was in art class, and my art teacher was trying to make everyone buy some cuckoo clocks off her and failing everyone who refused. I was asking some guy to lend me some money when all of a sudden a black hole appeared in the room and everyone was being sucked into it and getting killed. I started panicking when I realized I was dreaming.
Unfortunately my first instinct was to "wake myself up," since the hole was still sucking me in and was pretty fucking scary. It's hard to explain, but it's kind of like I was forcing myself to go back to my 'real' body that was currently laying in my bed and to wake up. After a while everything in the dream turned black, and I started to feel the mattress and sheets around me. I thought, "Woo, that was a scary dream. Good thing I got out of it somehow."Only to my horror, I was completely and utterly paralyzed. I tried to move my legs, arms, head, fingers, open my eyes, everything, but I couldn't. Without a warning it felt like the mattress disintegrated under me and felt like I was floating. Then my body was being pushed to a standing position and suddenly there was this terrible feeling of falling, like if I had just been thrown off a plane. This whole thing happened for about 5 minutes while I was completely conscious and paralyzed and I remember FREAKING out like never before and seriously thinking I had died. After a while it stopped and I was able to move again, but wasn't able to go back to sleep for the rest of the night.
Later on I found out from a friend that it's called Sleep Paralysis, pretty scary stuff. I honestly wouldn't want it to happen to me again.
-
I realize I'm dreaming most of the time, but I have yet to actually be able to control my dream. I'm not even sure if I want to do that. It's interesting to see what kind of weird things I imagine up without meaning to.
-
I control them all the time,I don't think my head is very imaginativeā¦:ninja:
Though no matter how hard I try,I'm always in 1st person view, never 3rd person. -
I've never have a lucid dream, and most of my dreams are nightmares. Like a crazy guy chasing me across the street with a knife and having a to start a new life because of it. But with every dream, I think it's really happening until I wake and realize otherwise. My reaction is either " HOLY CRAP! It was just a dream..?" or " It's just a dream, thank god."
-
Kinda necro'ing this thread, but I just had a really weird dream and I'm not really sure if it was a lucid dream and if the sleep paralysis was real or not.
So I was in this weird place that was half the mall and half my old high school. I think it was NASA's HQ too or something. They had these weird spaceship-like bathrooms so I decided to check one out and it was really weird. Then I started thinking something like "I always have dreams where I'm back in a school" then I realized that I WAS dreaming.
I slammed my hands on the sink in a holycrapimtrippingout fashion and for about 5 seconds I was conscious and I remember clearly looking right at the sink and feeling it.
Being the moderately easily disturbed person that I am, I tried to back out of the dream (kind of like in the other lucid dream I had) in the fear that my subconscious would start to turn it into some sort of nightmare.
This is where it gets kind of weirdā¦ everything turned black and I started thinking to myself "Uh oh, here comes the sleep paralysis.. close your eyes" and I remember feeling the paralysis for a bit.. but I'm not really sure if that was part of a dream or not because I remember getting out of the paralysis after a while, being on the bed in my room and talking to my mom about having it right afterwards, but then that progressed into non-lucid dream about monkeys. When I actually did wake up afterwards, my mom told me that I never talked to her about anything since yesterday afternoon and she wasn't in my room in the morning. So was this kind of like Inception where I had a dream within a dream, and only had sleep paralysis in the dream where I was sleeping? Or did I actually wake up from sleep, had sleep paralysis, then fell back asleep right after to the dream where I talked to my mom? I'm really feeling mind-fucked right now.
-

It is possible to "Dream within a Dream". The sleep paralysis most likely was only in your dream brought on by thoughts of it. I've had many dreams where I thought I was awake and talking to someone only to later find out I was still dreaming. What's really mind-fucking, waking up from a dream within a dream about 5-6 times, when you really wake up, you're still not sure if you're here or not. When I sleep during the day and awake, it takes me hours to fully come back to earth.
-
I had a dream a couple nights ago where I somehow disgraced my ancestors. The way to make this right consisted of getting a bathtub, filling it with the remains of the ancestor(s) I disgraced (imagine bloody slush and guts), and scooping the remains with a bucket into another bathtub. Fun times.
Edit: And damn, I almost forgot this. A little while before than I had a dream (the contents aren't really important) but for some reason it didn't turn lucid. I was fully aware that it was a dream, I kept repeating to myself "This is a dream" and trying to do something of my own free will, pretty much punch the guy standing in front of me. Didn't happen, though, and I'm sad.
-
How did I miss this awesome thread.
This has happened to me so many times, mostly on nightmares, but yeah its weird.
There was one where I was top of a huge bulding and it was getting dark all around, I triend to wake up(yeah I don't remember how I triend that) but i couldn't, then since I knew this was a dream I simply jump down the bulding and I woke up just like i planned.
It was weird as fuck.
-
I lucid dream once in a whileā¦ Actually lately I haven't done any of that. I kind of miss it.

I think this article might interest you dudes http://kotaku.com/5547398/video-gamers-have-power-over-their-nightmares
as for the thread itself quite yes i seem to have kind of an semicontrol over myself sometimes i am quite aware of what im doing. -
Yea this has happened to me like four times. One particular dream was especially messed up. I was in a dream and it was really scary I realized I was in a dream so I woke myself up. I was suddenly back in my bed and sat up but something didnt feel right. I turned around only to see my body still sleeping and laying on the bed!! It was scary as hell so I layed back down into my body and then some wierd feeling happened and then I was back in my body fully awake. It was the craziest thing thats ever happened to me in my life.
Edit: While my soul or mind or whatever was apart from my body I considered walking around my house in spirit form but was too afraid that I wouldnt be able to get back in my body. Ive been trying to recreate the experience ever since but to no avail.
-
Well, it wasn't a lucid dream but I did have sleep paralysis a couple of times a few days ago. I woke up in the middle of the night not being able to move any part of my body and feeling like I'm suffocating since your breathing slows when you sleep. I look to the right towards the door and see something like 4 people, covered in shadows, standing in my room just staring at me. I think I remember trying to scream but not being able to. Fucking scary I tell you.

Being paralysed after waking up can be a pain in the ass. It happens to me like once a month. I've learned how to deal with it but sometimes I also dream with my eyes open while being paralyzed (like you did). Yesterday I dreamed of a guy threatening me and a floating head was talking to me. I couldn't move so I couldn't really take a good look. Then my bed began to shake like crazy and there was an invisible force pushing my body against the wall. That all happened while my eyes where open. Scariest sleep-related thing ever.

This thread isn't about sex?
Well, there was this one dream I had that I remember quite vividly - a recent one, too. It was like waking up, to see that you were completely in the dark except for a round spot of light on the wall from a source I was unable to determine. A shape popped up on it, like a man, a paper doll cut with a head, arms, and legs, all black and moving. There was laughter, the kind you'd hear in a soundproof church from a tongueless priest surrounded by broken white noise. The little arms started flapping around the edges as its head bobbed back and forth, and I banged along against what felt to be a wall as the laughter became more present; not louder, but more existent through the invisible space in which I was confined. Without intent or warning my head began to sway back and forth with my wailing fist, and it became hard to breathe as I was choked from within my stretching neck.
I don't think there was anything else to it. Well, there was, but nothing I had 'control' over, in a manner of speaking.
-
I haven't been able to control my dreams, even when I know I am dreaming, lame.
-
Where the fuck have I been?
Okay, I had this one dream where I was coming out my house which was pretty normal, so we meet up with a scientist who was developing something strange and unknown. We decide to walk towards my house to go back inside, but before we get to my house the scientist is there with a test tube full of a weird liquid . Now at this moment we are like "What the fuck man?". So the scientist pours the liquid and what grows is something so inhumanly possible it wasn't even funny.
The grim reaper starts to form right in front of our eyes, at this point we are scared shitless so we make a dash towards my house but before we can get inside of it the grim reaper slashes both of my friends (yes only two) into nothingness like they was never there. The reaper then makes some sort of swirling vortex into what I believed was hell. That was a painful ass experience as the pain was so much but I wouldn't die. Eventually I woke up in a sweat and thinking "OH MY FUCKING GOD". I was so scared that day.
-
Ah, you speak of lucid dreaming. I've heard people speak of being able to control their dreams, though they never describe it properly, which leads me to believe they never experienced true lucid dreaming.
I've only been able to achieve it once. It happened around the beginning of my teen years, so eleven or thirteen. I can't ever forget that dream. It is still clear as day in my mind.
I was having a dream about being chased by IT (Stephen King). I was terrified, screaming for help. His perfectly white, sharp teeth gleaming in the darkness. It was like I couldn't see him clearly, but his features became more clear as I ran. Eventually, I was caught at the end of the cliff; nothing below me but a raging sea ready to swallow me; nothing above me but a dark, stormy sky. I had two choices: stay and be eaten, or jump. _I never got to choose, unfortunately. The cliff's edge crumbled beneath my feet and I feel. I was swallowed by the sea, sinkingā¦ sinking so deep. I desperately tried to swim but it felt like I weighed a ton, so I sank.
It was at that moment... I don't know how to explain it. It is at a moment like this that you'd usually wake up and realise it was a dream and then try to go back to sleep... But, I didn't wake up, at least in the real world; I woke up inside my mind. I realised it was all a dream; that I was in a dream, my dream!_ I was then surrounded by darkness, yet I could still see around me. I was sitting crossed-legged onā¦ the best I could describe it would be dark matter; nothing. If you've read Garth Nix's "The Keys to The Kingdom", think of that 'nothing'. I had actually started reading his books around then, so that might explain why my mind has decided to put me here. So, yeahā¦ From there I just create odd things, testing lucid dreaming. It was fun.
The strange and sad thing is... I lost something that night. I never dreamed again. I haven't had a dream since that day.
My mind is just a silent graveyard when I sleep.
-
I dreamed tonight that i was going to die within a few hours.
Was scary as shit:blink:Fuck, that i can`t rly control my dreams, cause so i could have done things i would do when this happens rly to me.
(so it was more an emotional ride) -
Sadly, no.
Often, I somehow know that I'm dreaming and walk around telling everyone "hey, you can't do anything to me, I'm just dreaming anyway!". But I never take "advantage" of that situation and try to control my dream, I just sort of wait until it's over.
My dreams are already pretty fucked up without me doing anything though. Like going moutain climbing with Angela Merkel. Btw, both of us died because the camera man (that was suddenly there, too) fell down and and dragged us down with him. Whenever I fall down something I never wake up before the impact, which is ā¦ not nice to experience. -
I can't really remember if I ever had a lucid dream.
I hope I have one soon. But I have gotten sleep paralysis before and it is a FUCKING BITCH!
It usually happens to me when I'm really tired and I lay down. I can't move, scream, talk, anything. Just move my eyes and breath.I have broken out of it many times by using all of my mental power to try to move my body and get up. I somtimes fall back into sleep paralysis by LAYING DOWN AGAIN.
It's annoying as hell.
-
This one is right down my alley,
I used to be able to do this and I did it a lot, I got stuck inside the dreams and did everything I wanted to do. This one time I was flying over a paradise-like field which was my most lucid dream. I kept lurking into these wild adventures, trying to find something and knowing exactly how to do it, finding random people whose faces I didn't know and some who I did know who helped me a long my way. I have teleported around places, become a super jumper (kilo kilo fruit anyone) and gone down to deep forests which paths I didn't know how to find anything in without help so I just (made up?) a random person. The lucidity is a real thing that is possible to do, it's best to remember your dreams the whole way through when you wake up, writing them down if you can. If you can tap into that, you can do the whole banana.
However, this was all in the past. I developed with this ability to stay in my dreams a not so culture friendly side effect.
I developed a kind of dyssomnia (narcolepsy), which made my passing from sleep to non sleep very frustrating for my brain since I didn't know what the hell when I was young. I became epileptic and I have experienced seizures often because of microsleep sessions that I remember nothing about.Long story short, I'm on epilepsy medicine right now and I can't even remember my dreams when I'm on the medicine.
However, I wish to fully control this in the future. I'm always surprised when I forget to take my medicine because I remember my dreams when I forget them xD.
My advice, keep on dreaming. Don't stay in front of the computer screen for too long. It disrupts the feeling for light patterns that control your sleeping times. If you don't have a problem with thisā¦ Try sleeping more and make a dream diary.
-
I really wish I did this. Every time I realize that I'm in a dream it ends
-
Yes, except every time I go too far, I always end up waking up. Just before it gets good.
-
I've done 'it' yesterday. For the first time ever! Very awsome experiance. I imagined it to be somewhat like thinking with eyes closed, but the difference is that the mental image of the person or place you think of like that slips away after a few seconds. In this dream however the images were very stabil for minutes. The dream was so stabil that I though of this topic on AP here, and that what I experiance must be a lucid dream and I still didn't wake up.
-
lucid dreamed when on holiday with my mates.
It was in the villa when I somehow realised that I was dreaming. I decided to be an asshole and told all my friends that they were nothing and that they were just figments of my dream. They didn't believe me, so I created a tornado in the distance. They faltered for a bit and one told me to create a thunderstorm or they wouldn't believe me.
I became Enel.
Then I thought "don't wake up! this is getting good" but it made me think about my physical body, which I began to feel, which ended with me waking up. :(
-
I've managed to control events in my dreams to a certain degreeā¦ but only once or twice I've actually been aware of the fact that I'm dreaming.
Funnier thing happened coincidentally just this week when I was spending good time with my friends and thought, "At least this ain't a dream but reality..."
Guess what I realized in the morning.

Sometimes my dreams are too realā¦
...like this morning when I woke up drenched in sweat due to me being under the impression Aliens (movie) were chasing me for several hours.
-
This one is fairly recent-
From where I can remember, I was with a group of people exploring ancient ruins. I didn't know what we were searching for just that we needed it. We kept coming across statues, some worn down, some knocked over but all had wings and weapons. As we passed each statue I started to hear a faint voice which soon became voices and grew louder and louder. After some time I understood what the voices were telling me and I alerted the people I was with. The statues were calling to me to tell us to use the weapons the statues had and sure enough when I touched the weapon it glowed orange and transformed from stone to metal. The group quickly took arms and dashed off as I became aware of why we were there, a battle was taking place, us against an army of dark creatures. As the group left to fight, I was still hearing a voice that was directing my attention to the wings of the statue. I placed my hand on the wings and as they glowed I grew my own pair of black wings and took off.
I have flown and had wings in dreams but this time was different. Before when I had wings, I flew normally, that is to say the wings were there but I wasn't using them for flight. In this recent dream though I used the wings, I could feel the lift, the flapping of each wing gliding me through the air. It was an amazing feeling but soon my attention was drawn to the battles down below. I was the only one with wings and this drew the eyes of the enemy quickly. I overheard one of the enemies saying "I haven't seen one of them in years, I must have him to drain that power", and shortly after his group gave chase. Around this time I started to wake slowly losing my focus on flying and drifting closer to the ground to the awaiting enemy until I hit the ground and awoke.
This was a great dream though, experiencing natural flight was a new sensation that I won't soon forget.
-
Ć haven't yet, but I'm actually training myself to. Found a tutorial on wikipedia. Of course it's still wikipedia so there's no way to be sure it'll actually work and isn't a load of bollocks some random guy wrote on there. I'm pretty often vaguely aware i'm dreaming, but I can never control the dream.
Does anyone have any tips on how to do it? -
Well, I've done it a couple of times. I think I know how to make them (the dreams, I mean). At least, this is how I do it, usually.
So when you wake up, just go to the toilet if you need to, or drink a little, just make sure you don't wake up fully (hope you understand). Then, go back to your bed and do whatever you do before you fall asleep. I often think about something. If you're lucky enough, you can do it. Just be patient. You should fall asleep, but now, it's the special kind of dream you're in.
Not sure if it works for everyone, I know I managed to do it this way, by complete accident.
And let me say, it's a great feeling. When I realize it's only a dream, I usually jump out of the window and fly (or crush). Also, it's great to run on walls.
About the flying thing. It's pretty funny in my case since I usually don't have wings, I just flap my arms like an idiot. It rarely works. But crushing is good too.EDIT: I forgot to say it can be pretty time-consuming.
-
OK well here's what happened i had a nightmare for 3 days every time waking up paralyzed except the third day i had the same nightmare but instead i don't know how but i created an ending for it which wasn't scary and made the nightmare seem like a regular dream this happened years ago but i can still remember the nightmare(which now that i think about was stupid but i was like 5 at the time) but not the ending i made for it
-
I have done this, but Iā¦ Well I realize I'm dreaming and then I usually decide to sit down and watch TV. In my dream. Yeah no okay, BUT it feels like I'm watching a never before seen episode of whatever I want to see! IN 3D!! Haaah? Awesome dreams? Why yes!
And then I wake up and pretend I'm still asleep. And that's how you get late. -
I remember I was a boss and I tried to undress my secretary and a sign appeared saying "YOU CAN'T DO THIS IN YOUR DREAM". And I was like, "darn!"
I think that's how it wentā¦
I also had a dream that I was protecting kids from Anakin Skywalker (who was a samurai) on a huge pirate ship. Then they turned into zombies and we all danced. At that point, I knew it was a dream, and I made myself wake up. -
My life sucks. My dreams are perpetual. They will never reach the realm of the natural world.
T_TYou are so hurtā¦
why??
Well anyways, My life is very good and I never remember dreams ever. -
Tonight I had two dreams.
The first one was veryyyyy long
Ok so I was in my old school. The one where I graduated from. I really often dream about this schoolā¦
Well, so there was this one guy my mind made up who hated me and let me feel every day that he hated me. I didn't know why he hated me but curious as I was I wanted to know.
So I knew which Bus he took to drive home. I followed that bus with the next bus which came right after his Bus. His bus was always one bus stop ahead of me and somehow I knew where the boy got out, so I wanted to leave the bus at that station, too. But unfortunatly my bus didn't stop there, damn. So I steped out next station.
I didn't know exactly where I was. It was like a little snoby village. But somehow I made my way to his fuckin big house. Even so I never was there before, whut.
So I just entered the house, lol, went up the stairs and there he was. He was totally shocked. And furious. He grabbed my hand and cursed at me in a whispering tone. I was just like "Tell me why you hate me!!" He cursed some more at me to be quiet and dragged me along him. I asked him where he is going with me.
We were about to leave the house but then his mum called for him. He muttered "Damn" and went to his mother, still dragging me along, holding my hand tightly. The whole time I was just like "What the fuck" But somehow I felt comfortable with my hand in his.
His mother was blind but when we entered the the living room she asked "Is that the girl?" She was sitting on a dark red couch. The whole room was full of antiques.
I was confused. How did she know me?
He admitted with "yes". It seemed like he was in despair because he had to admit that.
Then his mum smiled and responded "Truly, she's beautiful." and I kind of freaked out on the inside. My visible self was just starring at her, suddenly I wanted to ask her millions of questions but I was not brave enough to ask one. Then he dragged me along with him again. The living room was connected to a garden, we left the room through 2 heavy glass doors.
We walked a bit through the grass, then he abruptly stoped and let my hand go.
"Would you please explain me what is going on??"
And he explained everything to me. Regrettably that's what I forgot when I woke up, damn. But I know that it made sense in this dream world.
And I still know that he told me that his mother loved me for making him happy. However I did this, lol.
Well in the end it came to light that he didn't hate me, he loved me. And I was happy.
Then everything went black and I thought to myself "Must remember to write down when awake"That was a dream where I couldn't control everything. Mostly I could only control what I was saying. And the bus part. well, only my bus part... only the part where I decided to step out of the bus not the "my bus didn't stop where his bus stoped" thing. Actually I thought I had the bus under control and when I noticed that I didn't I was very surprised.
Well after this I had another, very short dream I remember.
I was in france, what. I had a friend there. No, it was unfortunatly not Heart .o.
Another friend my mind made up. I was visiting her, we went to cinema. The walls of the cinema were red. Two friends of her, a guy and a girl, worked there. Suddenly we were all in a locker room and I fell in love with the guy, lol. This time it was one-sided love.
And then a huge tsunami destroyed half france. whut.
Suddenly I was in Hamburg on a roof with my brother and the family of my dad. Well only one of his sisters, her husband and the the two kids.
We were waiting there on the roof for the water to get back. I know that I was freezing and was terrified by the height.
I had a flyer of a club in my hand. From the rooftop I was able to see that club. They were searching for some workers and I decided to make a bid.
Then I had a balloon in my hand. Something heavy was tight to it, I don't know anymore what it was. But because of that heavy thing I thought the balloon can't fly away. But that was exactly what it did. It flew away.
But I didn't want to let go so I held on to it. Stupid as I was I didn't looked out so I kind of fell from the roof. I say kind of, because I was able to catch the railing. (The railing was very small, you could easily walk over it, it was only knee-high). And I wasn't exactly falling. I was flying up with that balloon.
I fighted my way back to the ground of the roof and then I woke up. -
One of the first dreams I remember was a lucid dream. I was something like three or four years old that time, and I still remeber how awesome it was. First I just decided to fly around, but pretty soon I began controlling my dream, the dream didn't work the way it was supposed to. In the end, I couldn't do anything else than just stand around and be annoyed about that I couldn't make myself fly. But it did feel great to know I was dreaming.
I've also had a lucid nightmare. Don't remember much about it, but I know I could sort of control it, but it just went scarier and scarier. Because I accidentally thought "what if there was something there" etc.

The first lucid dream I hadā¦
I remember there were wolves plotting to kill me.
So I turned them into bread.

man, I don't remember ever having any lucid dreams, although I do have amazing regular dreams fairly often.
Like the time where I dreamed Justin Bieber wanted to fight me, and he was all 'let's go! Let's do this! yeah!" and I was all "you know I'm just going to kick you in the mouth and that's going to be it. This won't even be a fight." and he was all "no, no, man, c'mon! let's fight!" and I kicked him in the mouth and he spun around and fell in a heap on the floor of the bus.
And the time where I was a personal aide to JFK, and he wanted to know how to say "lets have sex" in Japanese, and I told him "Wendoshiwaza." and then he looked out the window and chuckled and said "Wendoshiwaza, eh? so that's what they meantā¦"
and the time there was this women, and she really really needed to shut this window. but it was too stuck. and then Superman came in and he said, "You look like you need a hero. And I'm the biggest damn hero there's ever been." and he closed the FUCK out of that window.
so yeah, amazing dreams, but I'm never in control.
so yeah, -
The Superman dream made me chuckle.
The last 2 weeks I had 3 dreams were the same thing happened to me:
I'm in a normal situation (talking to friends/balancing on a wall/riding my bike) and then my vision becomes darker and darker, my body goes numb and I can't move a muscle. I just lose control over my body and the last thing I see is me falling to the ground in a brutal manner (withouh feeling a thing or being able to do something) before everything goes dark and I wake up.The thing is: Everytime I wake up, my sleep paralysis is still fully functional and I just lie there for a minute without being able to move, but being able to think rationally because I'm fully awake.
Shit's annoying.

I dont remember my dreams. I actually think I dont dreamā¦
which is why I usually "daydream" before I fall asleep (which usually consists of me playing out what I plan on doing the next day), before I know it its the next day and I dont remember anything after the daydream.
I really want to remember my dreams tho, I just think theres somehting wrong with me... -
Ah this thread, it's so good. It actually makes me happy.
-
Nowadays, whenever I become lucid, my brain wrests the control away from me shortly after.
So I just go with the flow, becoming lucid when necessary. e.g. in a dream, I needed to drive somewhere and I broke into a car and tried to haywire it. I realised that I couldn't haywire in the first place so I said "Fuck that shit", became lucid, created a key and continued with my dream-business.

The way this thread's titled makes it seem dirty.
Anyhoos, I've always wanted to lucid dream, but haven't. Not. Once. Though I think once when I was eight or nine, I had this dream where I was walking about with a few friends. I asked them, "Hey. Is this a dream?" And they were like, "Pfft, no it's not. Why would you think that?"
I'm not sure if I made myself ask them that, it's hard to remember now. But if I did, well, that's my lucid dream. :ninja:

beating the crap out of him with v-joe Fx powers then did a kamehameha to beat him. -
Yesterday I dreamed of Zombies, this night I dreamed ofā¦
I can't even describe it in one sentence.
You know, I'm visiting a german OP Forum and I know the admins very well. With two of them I'm friends with for 5,6,7 years?
I recently found one of them again in an IRC channel. I went to bed with desperatly waiting for spoiler and with talking to him before it.In my dream I wanted to hire for a job in the forum. But the forum was a real life thing. My friend and another Admin I know just a bit were making translations and they explained me how it works so I could help them. We were all living together in a big building.
This was the first part of the dream. I can't remember much details anymore.
The second part is the shocking part. The other admin fell in love with me and I fell a bit in love with him (yes, my dreams always contain love :P) but it was not an official thing. More an open flirt thing. But whatever.
One day the two told me we had to go on a journey. I followed them cause I wanted to learn (whatever I wanted to learn..). I don't know if this was in our building or in another one, however, we came to a flat of an old lady. She was sitting on the sofa and watched tv. She had a green pullover and 3 dogs around her. And she had 2 bathrooms.
The guys went in front of her. My friend I have for 5,6,7 years took his gun (he had a gun, whut?) and shot at her. Right into the heart. The blood was dripping down the green wool but the old lady didn't seem to notice that she was shot. Her dogs got angsty. He shot again, this time in the shoulder. Nothing happened. She still didn't notice. Now the other guy, who liked me, shot at her twice. Then she was dead. They killed the dogs too. All I did was starring. I was shocked. It was a "O_o wtf" moment. I didn't know if they were right by shooting her or not. I wanted to ask them about that later.
In the end we made ourselves comfortable in the flat. I went to take a shower. Then I woke up.I told them about this dream today. I never saw a pic of the one I flirted with but I still had a pretty clear picture of him in my dream. He was blond. After I told him about my dream he showed me a picture of him and my dream picture of him really matched the real pic. Scarry.
I wonder what I will dream of this night.

Geezus what a dream I hadā¦ Too bad I didn't realize I controlled it untill the end.
It began with me and my friend leaving our home. When we got to our mailbox we saw Hades and Zeus arguing. I told Hades that he should just call Cerberos and that bastard did. We ran away and watched from a distance how Cerberus killed both Zeus and Hades. My friend told me we should hide but for some reason I just yelled CERBEROS really loud so that three headed canine would see us. Of course, he did and we started running like hell.
After running for a while we arrived to the shops of our little village. There were lots of people there and there was that post-apocalyptic feeling with everything. And then of course, there were zombies. People were keeping them out and I warned everyone to run since (literally) hell was loose. Or at least the hellhound. They didn't believe me. Go figure. Then suddenly I saw a bunch of my old friends and tried to save them. They were arrogant and said that hey were busy. Then suddenly, lots of white fog started to appear. It became whiter and whiter until it you didn't see through. It attacked my friends and started burning them.
Like a true hero, I ran.
Fog/smoke was coming from every direction and I tried to run to the next village. Then I realized it was a dream and knew that when I die -> I wake. So I stopped running and waited for smoke to catch me.And that ain't even all... I just can't remember every part... :P
