Revolution in Kyrgyzstan has tosses out the government administration.
It's been on the news for the past few days.
Just imagine the shitstorm going on there. Now aren't you glad that you're safely posting on an anime/manga forum in your quiet, cosy home?
No, a life sentence here is a life sentence in the literal sense of the word. It's pretty clearly stated in our lawbook. Just ask Mohammed B.
Isn't Volkert Van der G. getting free in a couple of years?

MiniLuffy's awareness time for Kyrgyzstan's existence: Three days.
I can't keep track of all the 'stans either .
Seven stans.
Two T's, Two K's, One U.
And the two we're warring at.
Turkmenistan: Like Turkey in the name.
Tajikistan: Little Iran.
Afghanistan: Ya'll know this one.
Pakistan: Piece of India all broken off due to religion.
Kazakhstan: My name a Borat, very nice!
Kyrgyzstan: The other one.
Uzbekistan: Timurlane's pad.
Am I expected to care about all of these as well???
Because if so, that sure is a bummer.

This is exactly what people would be saying about Afghanistan in say 1999.
Court Favors Comcast in F.C.C. ‘Net Neutrality’ Ruling
A federal appeals court ruled on Tuesday that regulators had limited power over Web traffic under current law. The decision will allow Internet service companies to block or slow specific sites and charge video sites like YouTube to deliver their content faster to users.
Julius Genachowski, head of the Federal Communications Commission, at a hearing last month.
The court decision was a setback to efforts by the Federal Communications Commission to require companies to give Web users equal access to all content, even if some of that content is clogging the network.

The only thing I know about Kyrgyzstan/Kyrgyz people is its rich past. The origins of its flag and the various countries/nations that have been involved somewhere along the time-lines.
In truth I find it rather interesting how it has survived all these years.
As for the recent coup/riot/war, I wonder how many years till another shift in power occurs.
Kyrgyzstan hasn't survived all these years. It's a new country that grew out of a Soviet Republic.

I was referring to the inhabitants, not the government.
Just look at the origin of its people, which itself is based from a several tribes throughout the region. (tied in with the current flag)
As I said before , the Kyrgyz people have a massive history of conflict that could have resulted in it being eradicted.
Isn't Volkert Van der G. getting free in a couple of years?
Volkert van der G. had a sentence of 18 years, not life.
@Tijnn.:
Sure. I'll ask him when he gets free.

Polish president and his wife+132 Polish elite killed in a plane crash. They were all in Russian to mark the 70th aniversary of the Katyn massacre, where the Soviets tragically killed thousands of Poles.
What do YOU mean you people?
..You gentlemen?

I find that grimly ironic.
@Airflow:
discuss the news
I read the news today, hoo boy…
@Cyan:

Same here. Add to that, that they were flying a russian airplane.
My sympathies for Poland. Looks like the airplan had the political elite of the country on board…
I just heard that the pilot might have tried an extremely risky maneuver, since he was scared of sanctions form Kaczynski... He apparently fired another pilot before, because he wouldn't try a risky landing at that time.

Poland is the Hans Moleman of the world.

This bit was always obviously a nod to WWII

Sympathies. That's quite a hardship.
Though it was a risky landing in the midst of a mist. I hear the pilot made three attempts, and with the fourth one crashed.
While airports of Moscow and Minsk were just as suitable.
Eh.
…..
'kay folks....
what the FUCK is up with these quakes?
Seems every day I go to Yahoo News and see an article about a NEW 6-7 quake somewhere. Now I see one in China...AGAIN!? Our crust pissed off or something?
Or is the planet just fighting back in the first wave of the inevitable war against humanity as we know it?

Yes Greg. Earth has begun the first stages of its 2012 plan…...
Well, you know, end of the world or not, I believe the Earth's magnetic poles are switching so…you know, that's gonna start some shit.

Hikers everywhere will be lost….
Oh yeah, chaos will ensue.
That was golden. Did you come up with that? You got me brother.
Yes, indeed. I take full credit.

All flights/aircraft have been grounded in England until the ash cloud has cleared.
At last I'll be able to look up at a plane free sky…:D
what sky. it's full of ash
This might sound strange but its a lot more quiet than usual.
Hopefully the skies will remain empty for a few more days.
(Though unlikely)
what sky. it's full of ash
It'll be too far up in the sky to actually have an effect on our view of the sky.
it's not all grey and cloudy?
It's sunny and blue here. And I live in the north of England.

I saw the pictures of the ash cloud, and have to say it does look rather ominous.
Do you remember the scene from independance day where the giant cloud hiding the ship looms towards new york…....something like that.

No matter how many arguments we might have had, stories like this always make me thankful that my parents were my parents.
no offense, but kids don't know what they need. That's why we gotta make em do stuff.
Those kids are gonna have NO CLUE when they have to go out into the real world.
This is bullshit.
"If I wanted to go to college I would pick a textbook and I would learn".
Yea keep your fat ass in the couch and watch your stupid TV Show instead.
You can't blame the kids.No kids want to go to school.I must be one of the few having fun in school and now I regret how time passed by so fast.
They will soon be fully grown up adults and have no clue what real life looks like,no common sense, biased values of life.
The parents are destroying their kid lifes and seems happy and proud of what they are doing.Someone should slap the father and save the kids while it isn't too late.
What exactly are they trying to accomplish? I didn't know people could be that stupid.
Like captain usopp said, kids don't know what the real world is like. They won't get to learn life skills and by the time they learn that this was a bad idea, it'll be too late.
And why is it allowed in Massachusetts? This is ridiculous…

WHAT THE FUCK!?
I kind of agree with them. I mean, the thing that it stemmed from, that guy compiling videos of dog fights getting arrested, is stupid.

WHAT THE FUCK!?
i just finished watching this on the news on tv.
