-
-
Nope I live in a urban town.
-

-
I live in a village.
-
Sorry, I have to go. I'll post anew message later bye

This post is deleted!

…then why didnt you just post when you got back instead of announcing it like one would do on AIM?
I live in a semi small town, though it is growing larger. -
I live in a small town (55 000 inhabitants) in Southwest of France near the Spanish border too. It's a pretty shitty town, but it's one hour by road from the Atlantic ocean and the Pyrennées mountains, so I can't really complain.
-
I live in a rural area in southeast Tennessee.
Not really sure how small the town is though (compared to other towns). It's gotten a lot larger since I was young. I think there will even be a Wal-Mart soon. I always used to hear my father complain about how big the town was getting.
But I don't really live in the town…kind of outside of it I guess (where all the farms are, but no stores or anything). But I think that it's still considerd part of the town.
At the moment though, because of school, I'm living at an apartment in a much larger city.
EDIT: Well, I checked Wikipedia, and the population of the town is currently around 4,700. So I guess it's actually smaller than I thought.

@Wiki:
The Joseph Lothrop House, which was located at 208 Turnpike Road where Blockbuster Video stands today.
Is the blockbuster video in the house?
-
never knew of such a place. Unless it's next to blockbuster, I think it doesn't exist anymore.

A town with city population of 44,174. Majority of the population is college kids + retired rich people (+ tourist). The town is deserted during the college summer/winter vacations O:)
Formerly, SLO had become known for its sizeable and popular Mardi Gras celebration. Unfortunately, the debauchery and drinking turned it from a family event to a citywide student party, to which the local population has reacted to with great excitement. Rather than enjoying the celebration, crime became progressively worse, until fences had to be put up along the parade route, just to keep people in check. This continued to get worse, as students from around the country would make their way to the party capital of West Coast Mardi Gras. As drinking, crime, and mobbing got worse, city council decided to stop issuing permits for the parade. Students continued with the parties and fights until police could no longer control the masses. During a Mardi Gras party in 2004 the local police asserted their authority and broke up giant block parties that involved entire apartment complexes and homes. The reason an entire neighborhood of students rioting has been attributed to drinking and immaturity.
The fun-est thing happened in that town. I was there on 2004 when police started to shoot us the tear bombs (?) >:)
I don't live there any more though.
-
Wow, those are all way better towns than mine! Mines peaceful, though.
-
Yea I live in Kansas City MO, so not a small town at all. I originally grew up in a town of aboot 2,500 people. Myy senior year of high school, the town finally got a fast food chain, way to go Subway!
-
Some random people made a little video of the surrounding area of the main town near where I live.
-
I live in Calexico, California. It's next to the border of USA and Mexico, and it's getting bigger. Closest city to this in Mexico is Mexicali. Closest city to this in USA, San Diego
-
My home in the US has a population of about 8,000. It's a large town (area) with a small pop in NW NJ. I love it. We're also 1 hour from NYC by car.
My home in Japan is a small city in Fukui. It"s pop is about 40,000. Nice place. Little more 'country' than I'm used to but nothing compared to where I lived in Shiga surrounded for kilos by rice paddies.
-
My town is smaller than the town u live next to. It's that small. Games take too long to get here! It's already Sept. 1 and Gamestop near my house doesn't even have OP:GA!!They always say it'll get "tomorrow"! I HATE THAT! The only reason I like to live here is because it's so peaceful. No robberies since 1989!!
-
I live in a "village" too, though a lot of us just call it town since village sounds a little weird.
Population: ~280! Go us!!!
-
"a perfect place to live and work" is a lie. This town sucks.
-
Mine sux more than yours, Pichu
-
Town of 1000, out in the middle of the woods. My sister's graduating class had 108 people, and that was with 7 other towns in the school. All together, we have around 420 people in the school, including staff.
-
Lets just say that I am sick with seeing golden gate bridge everytime i wake up…XD
-
It would get annoying.. it's not like u are gonna see the Going Merry! That'd be awesome! (in japan, there's an exact working ship replica of the Going Merry)
-
My city has a population of 49,151. I wouldn't call that small, even though I've always thought of it as such.
-
My town has about 15,000 which isn't too much, but it is only 15 minutes to NYC so it's still a pretty urban area.
-
Terek, that's not such a "small" city. How did u thought that was small?
-

I thought we were talking about towns, anyway….

-
Since it has so many people, I call it a city
-
Dude. My town probably has about 45,000 people by now. And I still think of it as a rather small town. Just not like the "village" folk here.
-
Well, my mistake!! geez
don't say dude! I don't even know u! I just know u as "Person who corrects/never has a friendly conversation with me No. 5"
-
Sorry. But just because we correct you doesn't mean that we're trying to be mean to you (jeez, now I sound like a parent).
Secondly, I'm not correcting you. I'm saying that I consider this a town or this a city or something of the sort.
Third, I tend to say Dude more often for the moment.
-
Well, once I was reading the forums before I was a member and u said Dude a lot, and I know u werent mean its caused I am so pissed off about somethin else now. U kinda did sound like a parent! j/k
So can u forgive me and I forgive u?
-
it's not like u are gonna see the Going Merry! That'd be awesome! (in japan, there's an exact working ship replica of the Going Merry)
I rode it about 3 years ago. Just to clarify, it's not exact, it's pretty much a normal cruise ship that they stuck fake wooden siding on and added some masts. Plus the only part of the inside that resembles Merry is the roof. Other than that it's a crap-load of stores and stuff.
Not that it isn't badass.
-
According to Wiki my town's population is… 174,868. I guess that makes it a city but it really doesn't feel like it.
-
whoa i always thought my town was kinda small at 94 399 but it seems like a bustling metropolis compared to many of your towns:blink:
-
Wiki has everything… says the town I live in has 1,845 people (but they've been building plenty of houses since the last census... =/ ).
It's nice to ride my bike around it~ -
Apparently there's about 1500 people living in my town. Much more than I figured, actually.
I've lived here all my life, so numbers like 10,000 frighten me. 100,000 seems just freaky.
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellsburg%2C_West_Virginia
2,891 people as of the 2000 census.
-
i do.
even wiki says so.Kouvola, the most useless city in Finland.
- Pahkasika, Finnish humour magazine
so, so true.
-
I live in a small town, but this town has almost everything. To me, it's quite ironic.
-
i lived in a 700 people town for 18 years. that was awesome until i wasn't a child anymore and couldn't have as much fun as i used to have before.
then i left.
-
I live in a small town but it's on the bottom of California. It's next to the border. San Diego's 2 hours from there, and Nevada's 4 (it could also be 7)
-
Well my town has +- 17,330 people, but I don't know if that counts as small… I used to live in Amsterdam, wich has +- 742,951 people, so for me it's small.
-
My town/city has around 300.000.. the third biggest city in sweden… sad isn't it?
-
A small town just outside of Glasgow city centre
-

I grew up in what I think is a small town. El Reno Oklahoma It has a pop of 16000, but has that small country town feeling. Everyone knew everyone else, but I guess it is not as small as I thought. My graduating class had 176. My sister drove 8 miles south to go to school and graduated in a class of 13.
I am currently in Bethany Ok, which has about 20000, but is right next to Oklahoma City, so I just include it as OKC.
