Still playing Pokemon Platinum. Just faced my rival for the last time before I challenge the Elite Four. We actually had a real back and forth battle going, which is a long shot from the last time I faced him, when I beat all of his Pokemon with just one of mine.
What are you Playing?
-
-
Right now I'm playing "One Piece Unlimited Cruise Ep. 1" and "Pokemon Black" (the part of the story that happens after we catch Reshiram)
-
Pokemon White, doing some global double battles. And getting raped…
-
I am playing Pokemon Black and I am competing in the Autumn Friendly Tournament. So far,so good.2 games and 2 victories. We'll see what will happen next though.
-
Divinity 2 and after that, Dark Souls.
I want to finally finish Divinity before buying it. I like the game very much, even though at first, I hated it for some reason I've already forgotten.
When I'm done with that, I'll try out Dark Souls. Seems an interesting game. -
Just beat Mega Man 3. Rush was a huge asset - not only did he help me with bypassing a huge amount of instant-death areas in the endgame, but he also made it so I could beat the final boss! (rather than using the boss' arm as a platform, I used Rush as a spring to get up to the boss' head) I've been playing the Mega Man games through the Anniversary Collection, but this is the first one that I've beat.

Hoshi wo Miru Hito.
Untranslated (the translation I found glitches up whenever you talk to someone) so I'm suing a walthrough and maps. Also can't figure out how to teleport the monsters, none of the ESP options seem to do that even though I'm at the recquired level.

Welcome to the most infamously legendary awful RPG
It's pretty bad
Virtually unplayable
-
I just got 100% in Star Fox 64 3D, so I'm rewarded with a new title screen featuring the Star Fox team standing around staring blankly instead of the superior one of Fox flying his Arwing into battle with the planet Corneria in the background. Yay.

Hoshi wo Miru Hito.
I'm sorry.

Play Super Street Fighter IV
I'm having a hard time getting used to playing a fighting game without dashing or a character that stops moving forward when s/he attacks. Pretty fun though.

Would you believe I don't find it that bad yet ?

I think the reason you're not getting responses is because no one knows the games you play. ^^

I just finished Psychonauts and started Planescape: Torment.

What did you think of Meat Circus?
-
What did you think of Meat Circus?
I have been informed that Steam's version of the Meat Circus isn't as hard as the original's, so when I say "Somewhat agitating" take it with a grain of salt.
I did find it legitimately creepy(Razputin!) and I do have the song stuck in my head.
-
Still Guild Wars 2, and doing another playthrough of the Mass Effect series; also Dark Souls from time-to-time.
-
Playing a speed run of RE5. Thanks to my Magnum and rocket launcher with infinite ammo I was able to get to the last levels in pro difficulty.
Just need the last two chapters to platinum it. -
Finished Divinity 2. Gotta buy it later~
Started Dark Souls. Well, started, as in, somehow made it to work on 1080p. Controls are good enough, graphics too. Promising so far.

Dark Souls is the best RPG in this generation.Aye aye!
I'm finished with homework, so I'm going to play for a few hours, probably~

Been playing my old Pokemon versions, Ruby and FireRed specificially.
See, I'm the kind of guy that tries to fill the pokedex as much as possible (and as legally as possible). The only game in which I've done this is Heart Gold (minus a few of unobtainable Legendaries), and boy, it took a while.
Ruby's the next closest game…..in a game with technically 386 Pokemon running around, I've got 208 already (completed the local Hoenn dex!), so I'm going to try to get to....oh say, 300 for now, focusing on the Pokemon outside the version.
Maybe in the meantime I'll work on my Pokedex for Fire Red, but for that game, I've caught 186 critters (but the Kanto dex is incomplete).
....
In a semi-related thought, I can name all the Pokemon for the first four generations. But.....since I've yet to play a fifth generation game, those ~200 escape my memory. I have to get White or Black one of these days.

I can run through every cave of the first generation with my eyes closed (or without using Flash) and can even tell you where which trainer is standing around and roughly which Pokémon he has.
But everything after Gen 2? A surprise every time I replay those games.
… I don't think I ever replayed Ruby/Sapphire after beating each of them. -

Wow, I haven't played my Yellow enough to know that lol

Funny you should mention replaying games. Generally, I don't mind restarting one of my games to get more out of it (change the starter, change the team, etc), but for games where I've caught a shit-ton of Pokemon? No flipping way. It's the reason why I'll NEVER restart my Heart Gold; I've spent over 200 hours catching close to 500 pokemon, and the file existing is my testament to the amount of effort I've spent.
But it sucks because that game's the only way I can enjoy Gen 2. My old cartidges of Gold and Crystal don't save any more :(

That's why I always get both versions (red AND blue, ruby AND sapphire…). One is my "main", the one where I finish the Pokédex and keep everything important; that's the one with 200+ hours on it.
The other one can and will be fucked with however and whenever I please, like doing a Nuzlocke Challenge or something. The third one (like yellow) will be bought as well, but doesn't serve a deeper purpose than
catchingowning them all. -

The other one can and will be fucked with however and whenever I please,Damn, why didn't I think of that? As a kid, whenever a new generation came out, I would get one version and my brother would get the other one. Technically he doesn't play Pokemon as often as I do nowadays, but some games he's logged in a lot of progress, too. So it'd be a little hassle to restart those, maybe I should search high and low and get myself the old Gen 2 games.
like doing a Nuzlocke Challenge or something.
My 200+ Ruby file? Yeah, that started off as a Nuzlocke Challenge, but I couldn't handle it. I'm weak.
I'll give it another go some day, though…..
-
It seems I started Dark Souls at the worst possible time period in this semester (or whattheycalledinEnglish).
This game needs time. Lots of it. So I'll abort it for a while, at least till Christmas.
-
I'm playing Guild Wars 2 & Civilization 5 right now.
Probably try out Borderlands 2 in a few days. Not a huge fps game but got it free with my gfx card so figure give it a whirl and see if its fun
-
Borderlands was amazing
I'm stoked for the the second one, already bought it just waiting to play w/ friends online.
-
So yeah, umm, I got to the Mechon invasion of Colony 9 in Xenoblade and…
! Damn! Fiora's "death scene" was intense! I mean, I was so upset I had to look up her character bio to be sure of her fate. And…
! >! phew Thankfully, from what I understand, she actually does survive or "come back to life." Yeah, so I spoiled myself; oh well. Better than me freaking out for the next who knows how long.
! This is how you tell a video game story. -
So on the subject of Hoshi Wo Miru Hito. I beat it. Just now. Firt turn based RPG I ever played through.
Thing is I don't hate it. The graphics, being what they are, have a certain appeal to them. Hell I wouldn't even be mad at the insane amount of low level fodder grinding you have to do in the first section just to get past level 10 so you might start to dammage enemies in Ark City physicaly due to not all of them having usefull ESP attacks at that point. Then I finaly got Misa to join and found out she does the same dammage at level 5 that the others did at like level 10 and found out about Aisa usefull ESP attack spell at the bottom of the list.
But thing is that's all pointless. Doing all this to get your characters to be able to fight these things is pointless and you know why ? Because there's no bosses in the game to make leveling up a necessity, beyond acquiring the spells to teleport and run from fights. There is literaly nothing of any value that you can even do with your raised AP because the monsters never stop spawning. Which makes the "good" enging make sense I suppose.
Worst of all is I think they knew they had no plans to do anything with the combat and they did everything they could to nerf. The game can sometimes take like a minute in real time to generate an encounter, and the last two areas (cockpit and laboratory) are literaly designed so you can use your second character's jump abilty he got back on like level 6 to basicly walk through walls and prevent encounters. And then you can still run away.
Basicly the last part of the game is designed like a puzzle game where to goal is not to fight anything.
I was getting some sense of actual enjoyment out of this combat though, even if it began as a pretty nasty meat grinder in every new area, but I just liked to see my stats get better and better and actualy be able to put a dent in those damn space tumbleweeds and slimemonsters with phasers and I was seriously looking forward to kicking major ass with Misa once she got to like level 12 or something.
And I know that RPGs don't have to be made so you have to max out your level to beat them, hell I beat Aria of Sorrow on like level 40, with some problems but I did, but when you can get through the game and need only go through less then half of all the levels, then something is just not right.
So yeah, pretty much dissapointed for completely different reasons then pretty much everyone. Reminds me of how I don't realy have a problem with Daikatana.
Would like to take a moment to thank Aschultz from Gamefaqs for his walkthrough and maps, because I realy couldn't beat the game due to the only availible translation not working.
-
I just got to the part in Blast Pit in Black Mesa when the scientist is pulled out by the tentacle. This game is really difficult. I'm playing on normal and it's still harder than Half Life's normal I would say. The military saps your health in an instant if you're in their line of sight.
-
Failed my Nuzlocke challenge on HeartGold.
Trying to get all legendaries for my copy of White and restart it -
Games you can play with one hand.
Like Ace Attorney, Layton and Ghost Trick.
All of them. -
Playing through Master Quest in Ocarina of Time 3D, and it sure is hard. Just beat Dodongo's Cavern, and I was stuck there for days. Sure feels good with some challenge.
-
Jet Set Radiooooooooooooooo

I just started doing this not to long ago, too. The only thing that really bugs me is that it's mirrored. It does add a bit of challenge, though!

I knooow! By the time I got used to it the game was over XD
-
Playing Thief. I'm not too much a fan of the supernatural stuff. The zombies are really annoying. The levels are awesome though. They're massive, and no loading times at all during them. It took me at least 2 hours to beat the latest level I completed. Apparently Thief 2 has the largest of the levels.
-
Got my hands on Machinarium. Great game so far.
-
Revisiting the mgs series, God of war seris, and splinter cell series.
Also, Pepsiman.
-
Currently playing Sonic Generations. Really good game, surprisingly. I'm also trying some demos out: Resident Evil 6, NHL '13, and FFXIII-2. Could only see myself getting NHL '13 of the three.
-
A pokemon emerald rom with the 'randomizer' add-on activated.
All wild encounters are completely random. i was only on route 2 and i saw a lapras, crawdaunt and!
Long story short, i'm having too much fun with this.
I'm currently playing lottery with the grass and waiting for good possible team members to pop up.My starter was jolteon, lol.
-
Playing through Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. So far (2 hours in) it's just like II with a few add ons, which is fine by me. I loved II.
And got back into Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I didn't learn until a few weeks ago that there was a 2nd ending and a bonus thing after you complete all the extra ops.
-
Finished Machinarium and started Red Dead Redemption yesterday.
Awesome game and a lot to do.Also training in HeartGold for Red and searching the remaining legendaries.
I want to beat that fast since I'd like to Do another Nuzlocke Challenge on that copy. -
I finished Darksiders 2 yesterday and decided to buy Borderlands (the first one) to see if it is indeed as good as they say.So far I am really pleased,it's really good.I am also playing some Minecraft here and there.

man i can't wait until the next pokemon comes out. You know the first 3DS true pokemon.
It's always amazing how the basic same formula can be so damn addicting. Yes i know about how in depth the whoel training can be, but the same basic principle of find pokemon, catch it, train it and kick ass still is all it needs.
But still the constant pipe dream from all Pokemon fans there ever where and ever will be is that the Wii U gets a Pokemon MMO of sorts game. I don't know if I would ever ask for any game again if that came out.
-
Forget what I said.Borderlands really dissapointed me.I was fighting for like 2 hours in a level,I reach the boss, die 25 times.Turn off the Xbox, return 20 minutes later and I am in the begging of the level with ALL the godamn enemies there.ALL OF THEM.So pretty much I need to play the whole level all over again which will take me a good 2 hours again, reach the boss and die like 90 times to be able to go through.A big thank you to gearbox for making me waste 2 hours of my fuckin life to play a level which I'll have to replay because I wanted to take a break :)
And because I am kind of a hothead I ripped my shirt in half. And gearbox won't give a fuck about my shirt -
1. You being bad at a game doesn't make it bad at all, the game's awesome. If you can't play a game well then don't diss it.
2. Acting like a kid made you make the mistake of turning the Xbox off which doesn't save shit.Next do a start>>exit before acting like spoiled brat.
Sorry if i seem rough but that kind of behavior towards a game makes me sick.
In fact no i'm not sorry, and no one cares about you ripping your shirt in half or quarter.

I picked up One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the PS3 today, and it's been great fun.
The practice level was awesome, fighting the pacifista and blowing him away with combos and specials that you can only unlock after levelling up.
(when in doubt, just use elephant gun. everyone on your screen is sent flying lol) -
