This is becoming a trend overall and I hate it. Teasers for Teasers are stupid and need to stop being a thing.
Marvel Movies Thread - Holy Shitballs

Teaser trailers are just regular trailers, they just show less of the story. The recent Ant-Man and FF trailers were both teaser trailers.

We aren't talking about Teaser trailers in general, we're talking about this daredevil thing. It's not a full 1-1.5 minute teaser trailer, it's 15 seconds of Daredevil walking down a hall and at the end it says "SEE THE TRAILER TOMORROW!".
That's not a traditional teaser, that's a teaser FOR A TEASER!! and it's dumb.
-
Why are teaser teasers even a thing? Can't they just be called "the teaser" and that's it? Soon we'll have teaser teaser teasers where it's just the .3 seconds of the "title screen", a still frame, and…that's it.

Wasn't the ant-sized Trailer from Ant-Man the same thing?

Wasn't the ant-sized Trailer from Ant-Man the same thing?
Aside from the novelty of it actually being visibly tiny, yes.

Patsy Walker has been cast for A.K.A. Jessica Jones: http://marvel.com/news/tv/24001/rachael_taylor_the_latest_to_join_marvels_aka_jessica_jones
From the descriptiom it seems she's taking over Carol Danvers' role from the original comic.
Freaking dyslexia, I thought it said Paul Walker…
-
Looks spectacular.
-
Why is Todd in the Shadows, Daredevil? Other than that, looks really good.
-
Because he looked like Todd in the Shadows at the beginning of his career.
-
This was his cannonical original costume.
In the real world, this is the thing he actually wore first.
Its pretty universally agreed the solid red is the better outfit.
-
Waaaaahhhh, why don't I have Netflix!?
Someone remind me of Daredevil's powers. Is his echolocation power his ONLY supernatural power? Is the rest just lots of training and martial arts?

He's blind, he knows martial arts, and he's a lawyer.
That's it really.
-
Alright. I just couldn't remember if he had super-strength or something else.

All of his senses are on a superhuman level, except sight of course.
-
Some slightly weird news, some Captain America fan has his nose cut off and some other surgical stuff done to his face so he can look like the Red Skull:
-

So does he have super-smelling, super-pressure sensitivity, super-balance, stuff like that?

Yup, scroll down to the powers/abilities part its at the end of the page.

Hah. I thought there was more than just echolocation.

Daredevil can read books by touching the ink on the pages.
Not braile. The ink.
-
He should at least manage it by licking it.
-

Not braile. The ink.
I wonder how well he does with movies and tv shows:ninja:.
-
He can feel color…
-
He can feel color…
Based on the amount of heat being absorbed and reflected off a particular object. A black shirt is going to be warmer than a white shirt. Sort of legit, albeit insane.

Then his accursed nemesis rears its ugly head: Lamination!!
-
It is true that when someone goes blind, their other senses strengthen in hopes compensate for the lack of the other. However, I believe Daredevil had some extra 'chemical spilt on him' that enhanced those senses EVEN FURTHER.
Is that still a thing, or was that canon removed?
-
Why would it be removed?
I dunno if it's still canon that the TMNT were created by the same vat of chemicals though.
-

What. The. Fuck.

The Mirage ones for sure. The Nick cartoon ones, maybe not so much.
I still can't believe how many years it was before young Robby discovered the Foot Clan was a parody of The Hand.
I also can't believe how many intentionally stupid goofy early elements of TMNT comics have become important serious unchangeable facts about the franchise regardless of incarnation.
-
It is true that when someone goes blind, their other senses strengthen in hopes compensate for the lack of the other.
I don't know but I know many don't of them can turn into badass martial artists with the ability of echolocation and all that other shit.
-

… I never even questioned the name. Mind blown.

googles The Hand Oh.

psssh!! fighting ninjas that evaporate into dust when you beat them, I do that shit on the daily…. daredevil's overrated
-
Daww, I love the Marvel Chris'es.
-
Clearly a publicity stunt, but there are a bunch of kids happy so, keep it up.
-
There better have been dance offs.
-
Its pretty universally agreed the solid red is the better outfit.
To be fair, the original costume does look like something a blind guy would come up with.
-
The Chris's are class acts. That was the most awesome Super Bowl bet ever.
On another note, Daredevil looks great! I have got to get Netflx. Jeph Loeb was right, it does look like they're going darker than what you've seen on network TV Marvel shows. Can't wait to check it out.
-
Jeph Loeb was right
These words together in that particular order. They make no sense to me.

That's usually true. He's not great at writing comic arcs, especially the ultimates universe, but he has done a good job producing on the Marvel TV side of things. So I was just giving credit where credit is due.
-
He also messed up LOST.
And everything else he's ever touched.
-
How has he done a good job with the TV side of things. All the cartoons Marvel produces are awful (and kids aren't watching them), SHIELD took an entire season to get watchable and by then people quit watching, Agent Carter is good but also flopped.
The only reason he hasn't been fired ten times over is because he has friends in high places.
-

To be fair, Agent Carter has the baggage of "Shield sucks, so why bother" attached to it.
It's going to take a while and seasons of several shows to undo the damage the first season of Shield did to the Marvel TV brand, everyone now associates it with "boring characters, none of the movie guys, and no special effects." Hopefully the glut of netflix shows will help balance that out.
-
@Daz:
So does he have super-smelling, super-pressure sensitivity, super-balance, stuff like that?
no I was referring to his sense of humor

Have you ever decapated a robot made of unbreakable metal, with a tree branch?
-
@Capt:
Have you ever decapated a robot made of unbreakable metal, with a tree branch?
Hey, that's not decapitation. He probably just knocked the robot into the boiling pit of lava with that blow. Or is that an eruption of lava spittle in the background and they're just standing on a rocky hill? Either way, it's ballsy, but not decapitating an unbreakable robot with a tree branch impressive.
-

well….. no..... but.... one time I broke a lamp, that's got to count for something

Just a rocky hill. I belive the flames are from the explosion when DD rammed ultron with a pickup.
Looks like a decapation to me.

Welp… I tried to help but the dude just decapitated a robot with a tree branch.

So i recently watch the first 5 episodes of Agent Carter, and is good. Like no incredible good, but it is much better than the shield show was at their premiere. Peggy, Howard, Jarvis and the rest of supporting cast so far has been great. I have a problem with the plot moving kind of slow so far, but Carter kicking ass almost every episode and the Howling Commandos making an appearance is an improvement.
