My thoughts as well. This was a very well-done episode. Even though I've already read it and saw it raw, it still brought me to tears. Komugi and Meruem's relationship is so simple and innocent that it sucks we don't often see relationships like that in the real world.
Fantastic episode. Well, not to much to animate of course, but everything was just well executed. And using "Understanding" for pretty much the entire episode it worked well. I know a lot of people were thinking the piano arrangement of Hyori Ittai, but "Understanding" has always been my number one choice for this, in part because it was the same song used for when Komugi was explaining her gambling her life every game waaaay back, and also because it sets the tone for the scene better than Hyori Ittai. Anyway excellent framing of Palm and Meruem's interaction, the game, and I guess that about wraps up the ant arc.
Overall, I'd have to rate it a Meruem/10

Well the bet only specifies how many chapters he's doing before a hiatus, not the number of weeks or whether or not he takes a break.
Which means the week he's on break will not count towards the total number of chapters before he eventually goes on hiatus again.

And I would think the bet would only apply to extended hiatus. One week off here or there is normal for almost all Jump series that run long enough, and that in itself is nothing against Togashi.

As usual, I only 'read' the raws and then wait for Viz's version on Monday. And from what I've seen, it looks like another interesting chapter. In fact, I find myself looking forward to these chapters; more than I would've guessed a month ago. I won't shake off this uneasy feeling until we're at least 25+ chapters in though (with the quality staying at this level).
