We don't hear about this anymore since the story revolves are nen users, but nen was supposed to be something kept secret, and not talked about to non nen users. At least that's what I got with the way they introduced nen to new hunters.

In fact, I think Kurapika should be getting into trouble with the Hunter's Association for what he is doing. (Not saying this will happen, I think it will be ignored)

I don't have a problem with him getting the eyes back, my problem is with how causally life eating abilities are treated in series, to the point where Kurapika is like "Ah, whatever, I'll just use it now."

After seeing Kurapika sweating bullets about this in the recent chapter, realizing he underestimated it, I no longer have a problem.

As far as he knew before the zodiacs took him in, the eyes were going to the dark continent, where no one comes back. So either now or never. And even if prince Bateman gets to the not dark continent island, they won't come back for a while.

Then he got… Catfished? By the Queen and decided to protect the baby while moving forward his agenda. Without the Queen and wobble he doesn't know that another prince would take him, especially after failing to protect or betraying his original contractor.

Depends on whether or not he was planning on being stuck on that island with him. Like if they were just going to drop the prince off to fake DC, then Kurapika had to go to the real DC to continue with his mission.

But I did over look the No returning from the DC thing. My thing is it isn't even guaranteed the prince has the eyes on him, yet he is already going all out. (unless it was mentioned and I forgot, I blame the hiatus)

Something as dumb as the last of his families eyes? That's his reason for everything he's done in the series. What else would you think he'd use his abilities for?

Yes, cutting down his life in a ploy that isn't even guaranteed to work over his dead families body parts that aren't going anywhere is dumb, not to him, but dumb.

If he fails, and has to come up with a new plan, he isn't getting that life back.

Hmm, kind of turned off from HxH right now simply because I detest "As long as I use this skill/power my life will be reduced" plots/mechanics.

Especially since Kurapika is burning it away for something as stupid as this.

Do some of the Princes not know the 4th Princes true nature?

I'm surprised of the amount of them that want to work with him, or trust him, aside from the first Prince.

Well, actually, I guess they don't, if they did they would probably all take him out asap. I guess the first prince may know.
