Oh yeah, can't wait for those new SBS questions.
A neat little detail is that Big Mom's sword goes right through Luffy's silhouette in the One Piece logo, and so does the lightning bolt. Not sure if it's intentional, though.
It was probably so that Napoleon could have a symmetrical double. Although I couldn't tell whether it was a lightning bolt or Prometheus' tail lol.

Also, does no one here remember the reveal for volume 85, which also had "a lot of empty space on the left" but we figured out then the reveal image is meant to wrap around into the dust jacket, so shows a lot more on that side than the final front cover will. It looks a good deal more balanced when you crop it like this…

After Dressrosa's mutli-year reign over current One Piece content, I'm still ecastatic over Whole Cake Island's aesthetic. We've been here for over 1 1/2 years now, but I'm just not tiring of this place's look/atmosphere. All this color design really grabs me too, it just pops so much more to me, it's very appealing stuff.
In terms of SBS stuff, I'd love more names/positions/ages/back-story for Big Mom Pirates/Charlotte Family. I'm not sure how big their role will be in the story past this arc, and I still really wanna see more about Big Mom & her empire's history. The flashback was great, but there's literally decades of drama there which intersects with Roger's era & the dawn of the Pirate era - here's hoping.

I wonder why oven is next to the two most competent bm pirates, katakuri and persopero. Even smoothie did more then him and is in the back as sweet commander. This some foreshadowing that we will play important role in what's left from this arc? Maybe sanji's match this arc? And even then, daifuku makes much more sense. Or is it just the colors that fit better with him in front.

Or Oven's body shape won't obscure as many characters behind him as Daifuku's huge spherical shoulders would.
And Smoothie never did more. Katakuri even put Daifuku in charge of a squad after Whole Cake Chateau fell while Smoothie was running away from Big Mom.

I'm not a huge fan of some of the characters' colorings. You can make something bright and colorful without also looking tacky/gaudy. Looking like a Toriko cover up in here.

So Cracker (10th son) was born before Brulee (8th daughter), and I believe they might even share the same father given their similarities when it comes to looks. Did Brulee ever call him "big brother" or something? And Mont-d'Or (19th son) is older than Smoothie (14th daughter)

Heeey that one really great Jump cover gets to be a title page! Exactly what I was hoping for like 2 volumes ago.
The three page recap is interesting as well. It's definitely unprecedented, and it goes to show how busy and convoluted the current plot actually is. Though, if the story is large enough to need three pages there and still feels like it's moving at such a brisk pace (by One Piece standards anyway) it really does show what Oda's learned about handling bloated casts from Dressrosa. Good on him.

Yes, she called him "Nii-san". However it's more formal than how she calls Katakuri ("Onii-chan"), implying she's closer with the latter I guess?

Katakuri is the Minister of Flour. All ministers are Big Mom's children, meaning Amande is one of her daughters
