I know, I just wanted to know if the connection between them was made by logic or was stated. Mainly, if that jolly roger was ever clearly stated to belong to Kaido (as the wikia treats so) or we just assumed it is his.
If it is just assumption, then there is a chance this has nothing to do with Kaido. That when Jack appeared, Oda wanted us to simply think "hey, look at the jolly roger. It's the same crew that was in Zou" and not "look at the jolly roger, it's the Kaido pirates again". They could even be enemies of Kaido trying to take him down by pursuing his treasured possessions similar to what Law was doing to Doflamingo (explaining why Jack would be after Momo/samurai and Doffy).

Sanji has been taken by his father (?) to Death Star (?) to fight against the Emperor (Big Mom, Kaido?) :sly:Anyway it would be great if Oda celebrates Star Wars saga now that a new episode is coming.

Noob question, but how de know for sure Sheepshead and Jack are involved with Kaido? I mean, we assumed the jolly roger in Sheepshead belt was Kaido's, then we saw the same jolly roger in Jack's ship and assumed he was also related to Kaido.
But did we saw that jolly roger before to be sure it belongs to Kaido? Or could it just belong to Jack now we know he was the one in Zou (i.e. behind Sheepshead group) and this has nothing to do with Kaido so far?

I think Sanji is going to make a major come back, with a new technique or something. I kind of like Sanji but he's being used to hype other characters I think he's going to do something pretty awesome to prove he's still got it.

It's so refreshing to see Minks having some common sense and realizing that the Straw Hats mean them no harm. One thing we didn't need was rehashing the Shandians attitude towards strangers.
I'm feeling the tension so far, loving these chapters very much. -
So glad not all the Swirlyhats are dead. They'd have lost thier- Cook, doctor, navigator and moral Booster (musician). Think about bo desvistating that'd be for the crew!
All of that said… Oda is trolling Sanji fans hardcore right now! After how pissed they've been at his lack of love from Oda, he gave then so hope with the "Wanted alive" idea...and now they're trying to make it seem like he's dead...and then BAM. To be continued....and No chapter next week!
He's just being cruel at this point lol all of that said, I guess it's nice to see Luffy's home reacting, even if as a cover story is too short for me. Can't wait to see how Usopp's hometown reacts! I guess it makes sense though. Oda wants to cover all of that very quickly and cover stories mean one panel per place, which is quicker than if we had chapter(s) for it.
Found it weirdly pervy in my mind seeing nami laying on the sheep like that, but maybe that's my fault...and I'm glad the minks like them. Interesting that Jack failed, but makes sense I suppose. Makes me wonder when he'll be back, and if it'll be this arc? He's definitely a hype tool. I also wonder how the Swirlyhats rescued Zou. Sounds like they had an adventure of thier own while everyone else was at Dressrosa. I like that! I don't like the idea of Sanji being dead so he better not be...I'll bet everything will be explained next chapter though.
Overall, I guess that was an ok chapter. It'll be much better when read together as a whole when the arcs done, I'm sure.

Speculation time: Sanji always goes rogue in these situations. I'm guessing he followed jack (maybe he had raizou) and found himself right in the middle of his assault on the marines. He probably helped the marines which caused his bounty posted status to be changed… He was probably aprehended or is assumed to be dead after the raid :\
I might go even further and say he's pulling one of his Mr. Prince schemes and Nami's in on it.

So Jack came to steal Momo, Sanji tried to stop him, he "died", Brook is already "dead", Jack kidnapped Momo.
My guess is that Brook left his body so he could fallow Jack as a ghost.
Also perhaps Jack has some kind of soul eating DF, so he stole Sanji's soul and now they have to defeat him and return Sanji's soul back to his lifeless body. -

Pfft…Oda has always screwed up with her feet. I remember that time in part 2 where he gave her giant feet. Like she's related to sasquach (big foot) or something lol seriously. They were GIANT. Amd that's but one example. It's like Oda just can't draw female feet right.

I came up with a theory! Abosalom is prolly a Mink guy. Don't you think after Sanji's blood type or whatever has been revealed! he had to kill Abosalom and ask him before he dies for the place where he found the fruit in the first place to go and fetch it and become an invisible man. that was his dream after all! he might come and see his allies crying then slap the shit out of em :P after a zoro's speech!

2- In post-whitebeard war, at Amazon lily, Bepo was disinterested in human females. Wanda is saying that, some of the mink (perverts?) are attracted towards humans. I wonder if a mink and human do it with each other, will it be considered beastility?. 3- This elephant/Zou is perhaps the largest creature in the world. How it will look like from the space?. Can luffy communicate with it like he did with Sea Kings?

Shanks was already a big time pirate when he met Luffy in East Blue. Being an Yonkou isn't gonna stop him from visits if he wants to. There is a thing called secrecy. I've no doubt that Shanks is able to travel and not get caught and knows how to hide. Remember in the war, they knew Shanks was at beginning of the New World since they got a report of Shanks confronting Kaidou so Whitebeard fleet could leave to go to Marineford. The Marines feared what would happen if Shanks & Whitebeard teamed up. So they had good reason to keep an eye on Shanks while still preparing to fight Whitebeard.
Yet they still lost sight of Shanks and didn't know where he was until he showed up at Marineford and they were surprised on how fast he was able to travel.
It is this what makes me believe that Shanks knows how to avoid detection and could have visited Makino during the timeskip without the Marines knowing. ITs not like anyone in Luffy's village is going to tell the marines.

My main takeaway from this chapter is that we still have a shot at not getting Doflamingo redeemed, which pleases me greatly. Now, if we can make it through this arc without CC recieving the Buggy treatment, I'll be a happy man.
