for me this chapter shows that Burgess must be one of the stronger fighters of the Blackbeard pirates… holding his own against Sabo is clearly not to underestimate... looking at the strawhats the only ones beside luffy that could do that are Zorro and Sanji...Burgess is probably part of the stronger half of the crew...

Display of strengh comparable to sabo, mabe fujitoa type of power figures agree. Strengh suggestive of superiority to fellow crewmates, inconspicous, no data or well manga content to suggest so. Burgess strengh is unmatched though regarding desire to fight, but as far as scary goes vaso shot desire for carnage second only to his desire for alcohol, shiyru love for blood, and doc q playful explosive tendercies tops it. But to be fear that entire crew is themed with hostiliy and extreme violence.

It would also make sense just to take them away from enemies just in order to weaken them… If your Crew is the only one to have DFs, you're basically unbeatable...

You know, thinking about this, devil fruit stealing might actually spare Oda of thinking of some new fruits. Then again, I don't see him turning OP into that much of a kill fest.

What if two people take a devil fruit and put it in a juicer and both inject the devil fruit into their veins at the exact same time? What if two people take a bit out of a devil fruit at the exact same time? Furthermore, what happens if grandma makes fruit salad and unknowingly put a few devil fruits in it and feeds it to her grandson? Kids dead right? What's grandma charged with? Who gets grandmas stereo?

Does this mean Teach can have multiple powers, and not just two? Or maybe all his crewmates can have two powers?He's most likely doing it for more power and less opposition from others. An interesting thought a friend of mine brought up is; what if Blackbeard can use his ability to grant his crew the ability to use multiple fruits as well. That would be an interesting twist and I wouldn't mind multiple fruit users if they were exclusive to the Blackbeard crew.

When you kill someone their devil fruit reappears so we can take it. But characters don't die unless off panel or in a flashback.

Hmm nice, that actually makes more sense. I mean the Den Den Mushi do use radio/thought waves (SBS Vol 41) and the material of the Birdcage seem hard enough. The only issue I find there now is whether Doffy can produce metal strings or.. it's his Haki/Hardening.. if it's the latter, then Vergo really might not b– woah not going there.

Puppet Doflamingo is undoubtedly the most mystifying element. I had a theory that it actually is suppose to be an identical clone of himslef using strings so small he's literally reconstructing his own DNA to create a living breathing clone that shares the same mind. In this respect, I believe it is an inherent ability of the fruit in which Doflamingo doesn't need to mentally craft from scratch ( if he did, it would be completely beyond belief).
Because remember a "string" is not a singularly specific form of matter, which is why he can create string matter that is completely indestructible or more organic strings, what I would consider "molecular strings." Of course those molecular strings can only clone his own molecules not creaet different clones or organic matter. He can also create more maleable, less rigid strings that are more flexible for defense, but that lose their razor sharp properties.
But if he's able to do THAT, why does'nt he need to stitch his organs to repair them rather than reconstructing the organic matter in its entirety? That, praytell, is the mystery.
In that respect, puppet doflamingo may very well be a supernatural entity created by the fruit that cannot be explained in even the most vaguely rational way. This supernatural property of Doflamingo's powers is why the strings will disappear when Doflamingo gets KO'd (or killed).
Nice post, I had the same question, why not create a cloned version of his organs? Maybe he cannot create it internally? Not sure. What if he were to faint, his ability would stop and he would die.
As the "String Theory" link said, it wasn't just the internal organs that are destroyed. It's the acids and the radiation moving around internally as well.
I can only imagine what it feels like to walk around with no internal organs and having acids splash around inside while fighting and radiation polluting the body, whilst trying to keep everything together and fighting.

to our knowledge, Shanks doesnt have a DF and he is at Emperor level, so what if a crew of people all on Rayleigh/Shanks level went against a crew of full DF users? its all about the people not the fruits.
