Doffy healing himself isn't a stretch, considering he can make clones out of himself and looking after immortality. He said it was a first-aid kit after all. Still there is room for Doffy-was-handicapped.

I can see where you think it's filler material, but I think it is a bit more important than that. Doffy has severe internal damage, which that's going to handicap him. Also, if Law is going to work together with Luffy to take out a Yonkou, we see how they can use teamwork. You can be disappointed with it, but I think the chapter was important for that, mainly with Doffy being weakened.
And here we go. Time to finish this god damn last fight in this arc. Took it too long.

For those saying Luffy is up against a handicapped Doflamingo, it's not like Luffy was sitting and relaxing while waiting to fight him. He fought in the Colosseum against Chinjao and then he fought his way to the palace twice and finally he fought Bellamy and fake Doflamingo and let Bellamy hit him pretty hard. So I would say that Doflamingo is definitely not at his best shape but same goes for Luffy.
Also, THE PACE IS KILLING ME! When the "last battle" manga was released I though I would see some doflamingo vs Luffy action but it took 3 chapters to begin the battle and it will actually start on the 4rth one…..

There is a possibility. I wouldn't mind either way if he did or not, but I feel he probably will remain with them. He did make a mention of becoming the Pirate King, and being with Luffy and Kid at the Auction house, it would be weird if he was done after this. Also, Luffy won't let him go, because they are friends.

I think they have to see what they're doing, though - Doffy just lays there talking and patches cut up organs up like no problemo. At least Robin's DF had the requirement that she has to see where she's making stuff pop up at. I just don't like it how Doffy gets more and more additional throwaway tricks to his DF, and some of these feel really unnecessary. Puppetmaster who slices people was already cool and strong, but then he's flying across the ocean and duplicating himself and whatnot while at it.
I don't know how I feel about the chapter… all Kinda made sense but nothing was really convincing... also the pace and the panel progression was weird.
also I now need to re-release the chapter to see if it was possible for do flamingo to not see law's supposedly missing arm on the henchman

It had a great Law moment that actually clicked with me, Luffy's anger was getting to the boiling point, and the cage started shrinking. It was urgent, it was emotional, it was good stuff, not filler in any sense.
This week makes last week's predicament and drama invalid by page 4, Law was doing all that pretty badass send off as a cover up for some more absolutely insane shenanigans, so the emotional impact is gone, and what we get in exchange is some "glory to the Law!" panels that, yeah, looked cool, but 1-as Daz is complaining, all Law did was incredibly vague in the end. What's "destroy you from the inside", if a bit of string stitching did the job? 2-Law is just exhausted now, so we can expect more double teaming, something last week was a no-go, finally. No longer happening, as we've seen, Law can just go at it ad infinitum no matter what happens to him. So does Doffy. Do we do this for all eternity?
I mean, I guess on a visceral level this capter gave as a badass Law that's outbadassed by Doffy. Problem? We've been through this before during chapters 768 and 769, and they were better, on time, and ended on the perfect note. Law's "imma dying - no wait I can still show some more badasness, now imma dying - no, wait, I still have some more haxxness in me to show to the world, now imma dying - no wait, bullets and missing limbs are merely scratches to me" just got on a whole new level with this chapter, and as I've said, the end of the chapter leaves him. . .¿frustrated? while last week left him dead or nearly dead. Luffy last week was super pissed, this week he's badass calm. Last week Trébol was an unknown factor, this week he's a lil bitch that's in the way.
I said this was fillerish, but looking at it, it isn't. We actually went to a less tense, less climactic, less dramatic situation than what we had before.

Trebol looks completely garbage now. I thought he was the best fighter of the three but, darn he is disappointing. Shrugged aside with a nameless attack. (Although I'm fairly certain that was a gummo gummo no whip) But yeah, this really is Law's fight. It's weird to have Luffy sidelined the way he's been sidelined. They really are sort of working as equals. Law definitely is a badass though. He's as tough as Zoro and Luffy.
I don't mind law's hax df and doflamingo now even haxer df.
The only thing that annoyed me about this arc, is that oda keeps changing his mind, he knew he was gonna have law use his room later, so why did he make law say he couldn't keep it up anymore and it was coming to an end. That's the only thing that pissed me off.

I'm tired of all the plans and schemes. Let's see it done the good ol' fashioned Luffy way… kick Donflamingo's ass. You could tell Luffy just wanted to go at Donflamingo but Law is too much with his plans (which never work). Now with Law out the way (please let him be out the way) Luffy can do what he's wanted the whole time.

I can't deny your points. I liked what happened, but having it happen for the third time, or what ever time it is, can be annoying. It is slightly less dramatic, as we know Law is fine now.
The way I look at it from last week, Law was being intentional with his words to piss off Doflamingo. We saw him get pissed, and then after he gave the "kill" shot, he had to confront Luffy. Doflamingo considered Law dead because he decided to kill him that time, but his rage made his mistake just slight enough for Law to have the opening. With that, and the focus on Luffy, he could enact his plan. I thought it was well done and shows Law was pulling all the punches, but he didn't know the extent of Doflamingos powers.
Would it have been better if we skipped the last few times and just had this part, or have left it with last chapter? Probably. I still loved it despite the reuse of stuff, and that having to wait weekly just makes it more aggravating to some. Also, Luffy needed to be badass calm for this fight. If he was just pissed, I doubt he would have a chance to beat Doffy.
With those gigantic Rooms of Law, Pica would be helpless against him.

Not because of how he stepped in at the end - however excellent that foot-stop was - but because after all of his barking about being the one to kick Mingo's tail, he let Law handle it in (what looked like) the end. Up until he knew Law couldn't do anymore, Luffy's attacks were to remove Trebol and to keep Doflamingo from retaliating. He even waited at Law's request and watched. It's really nice to see from him.

Basically it boils down to the fact that we and Luffy now know that Law is no more "supposed" dead. I agree that with Law not dead it feels less climactic, but at the same time it feels more uncertain. Will law just stand there on the ground while Luffy and Doffy fight? What will Trebol do? What's gonna happen? If we were left with Law supposed death left in the corner it would be more standard: hero vs villain with friend beat up/dead on the side; but now it feels different and more unpredictable (since law is also conscious).
I agree also that Law's thing of dying-not dying is redundant and can be annoying, but this time was the best one with him going at Doffy with all the strenght left in his body and intent to kill even with only one arm, that was awesome.
Aside from this, i really like how we have Doffy that is not a mary sue villain, that gets hit and suffers, instead of being a smug ass dude untouched only to lose with a bullshit in the end. He has ups and downs for both his physical abilites and planning abilities, so he can make mistakes but can also work around them.
