Great chapter. I forgive Usopp for walking away last chapter. Dwarvesgoing crazy when Usopp shot Trebol.. Cant wait until Kyros get his human form.
The stuff towards the beginning with Trebol and the Dwarves seemed like it could have been a page or two less, but other than that loved the chapter, especially the Kyros flashback. Also the way Trebol moved his head around on the second page while looking at all the dwarves.
So he got swaed by the Dwarfs' cries and trust…but at least he's back as Usopp and not as Sogeking. But he's back without a plan, it seems, so somebody will have to save him if he is to survive :D
And yeah, now we can probably say that Trébol's a logia with a 99.9% certainty.

There is no reason for Kyros to join the Straw Hats; he doesn't even have a definable goal in the slightest, yet. We can't jump the gun.

Ussop vs Trebol will be awesome, if Oda goes to that direction (please). Trebol is overwhelming but Ussop is crafty. And both of them are extremely accurate. I'm really excited to see how their fight resolve.

I thought the Usopp part was fine. He admitted his lies and finally manned the fuck up, I thought it was a satisfying resolution for that subplot.
The flashback though? Yeesh, was it rushed.

You just put yourself on blast right there. You're one of "those guys". You're upset because things didn't go your way. The flashback can't be "rushed" if it has only just begun.
I was hoping Trebol didn't have a logia ability, that's four since entering the New World. It was a good chapter, though the parts with the dwarves was a little too long. I would have preferred to see it cut down by two pages and gotten some snapshots of the other events on the island. I do not think the flashback will be long, maybe another chapter.

the part dedicated to usopp was too long,especially because it cut right when things were getting interesting.
anyway,it's good that usopp finally admitted that is a liar in front of someone he deceived..it's a first if i remember correctly..it kinda makes the character go a little forward after going backwards so much lately
the kyros flashback started well..but it needs context,so it's too early to judge

Usopp's redemption was kinda satisfying, but at the same time lacking in delivery.
Which I think is due to so much happening - I know I have commented in the past that the ammount of SH's on the crew will never matter and I still hold true to that thinking. But this chapter might be a cause for many to show what should have been epic moments came off as very flat.
It's not that there hasn't been sufficient build up and backstory but this arc has been so busy that it couldn't have not been otherwise we'd be looking at 3-4 years spent on Dressrosa alone. I kind of think thats why the Sunny has been cut off from the story just to ensure there is enough time to build up whats happening now.
Right now its only 4 groups - Luffy, Zoro, Usopp and Franky with Franky just being an off screen battle - I noticed a bit of this with Fishman island arc - not as much with PH - but this arc its really busy and just seems to be effecting it a little.
Hopefully my point is not seen as negative - just an observation I am hoping that Oda finds a nice balance for using the full crew in future arcs that doesn't seem to make the big moments seem flat.

At this moment, I thnk personaly that the fight between Usopp and Trebol is going to either end with the former using flammable properties of the latter to his advantage and winning, or latter using his superior speed and strenght, and simply beating the former.
You know, if Oda really parallels Alabasta and Dressrosa as extensively as he already has, I can see Sugar joining the crew, especially since she was portrayed in a sympathetic light this chapter. Female defector that's highly ranked on the bad guys' side, etc.

Based on the entire last chapter, which placed the entire emphasis on Usopp succeeding in his mission? That unless the SOP mission succeeds, the good guys are doomed? That it all rests on Usopp's shoulder?
I thought it was quite evident that the turning point of the arc is when Sugar is defeated and the toys brought back to human form, and for that to happen, Usopp had to man up.
It just so happened in the most anticlimactic way. . .

But the 5 pages we got condensed like an entire chapter's worth of content. Look, it's a criminal in the slums! King Riku, say something worthy of a good guy! Ok, on the Colosseum now! 100 wins! Oh, he keeps going! 1000 wins! Oh, looking on that grave! End of the chapter!
Give it some room to breathe! Flesh out the character interactions between Riku and Kyros! Make things flow a bit better!
This is the beginning of the Fisher Tiger flashback all over again. That flashback ended up being quite good, but the first chapter was one of the biggest clusterfucks Oda's ever written. This is not on that level, but the way Oda basically glossed over any possible interaction between Kyros and Riku, any insight on Kyros, any interaction between Kyros and fellow Colosseum gladiators. . .all done in 5 pages.
I hope he, at the very least, gives the entirety of chapter 742 to Kyros flashback. At the very, very, very least.

I'm sorry, but no, it wasn't. Not for a situation that Oda has been building up for soooo long. The payback basically consisted on "Ok, ok, I'll go back and fight, you stop dying for a while, will you? Now, let's do this snipper thingie. . .".
I mean. . .the fuck? Suddenly he goes back cause Trebol is starting to stomp then, potentially killing the dwarves? What the fuck were you expecting, Usopp, leaving them half-dead in front of the enemy to do with them as they please? Were you expecting, maybe, that they would treat them to some candies and hot chocolate, let them recover, and then give them a free bus ride back to Green Bit?
Of course they were about to abuse the guys that started a rebellion! That never crossed his mind? "I'll run away from here, leaving the clearly unable to move Tontattas lying on the ground on the verge of death. I mean, what could possibly happen to them? Nothing, of course!" "splat, crunch, splat" "Shit, he's crushing them under his feet! How could this happen?????".
And also, I'm surprised people on the spoilers thread totally loathed the idea that Usopp might revert back to his Sogeking persona in order to find some courage. Well, that was a much, much better scenario than what we got. If the infamous Thriller Bark scene that's been discussed to death lately told us anything, is that in times of desperation Usopp taps into his inner courage in the form of a split personality, Sogeking, and he even has some fucking internal dialogue with that personality!!! Now, with that totally flushed aside, it seems that scene was a random case of split personality that totally got cured after the time skip, yet, weirdly, Usopp became much more coward and even treasonous in the process.
Sorry, but, to me? That whole scene was incredibly unsatisfying.

Sugar is useless in the Strawhat crew, IMO. Her power doesn't fit any niche outside an schemer group. But if you really like a loli in the crew I can't blame you.
