Nothing better than a chapter after a test. Finnaly I can see someone stomping those anoying dwarves.
I hope you will fail with that test for that part about Dwarfs:getlost:

Kyros looks like Ideo's long lost brother.:ninja:
Ussop's come back was too quick..i thought it will happen few chapter later..but i am glad he is fighting as Ussop of Strawhats rather than that sogeking thingy…
he will certainly knock out Sugar by hook or by crook...waiting for the drama..
Seriously DD has Haoshoku no Haki but isn't able to detect Luffy, Violet and the Toy soldier in the same room with Kenbunshoku no Haki ?
Sugar's face makes me think she will betray Dofla.
care to elaborate?

The flashback I guess it adds something I dont know if it was needed at this point but that wont change the fact we have it. I liked how Usopp finally dropped the kids play and lies of being some kind of hero, but the bastard ran until he was called out and heard the guys getting beaten. Idk in my eyes even if he came back that was still a really sick thing to do, to run away and all.
Seriously DD has Haoshoku no Haki but isn't able to detect Luffy, Violet and the Toy soldier in the same room with Kenbunshoku no Haki ?
why would he search in his room for them when he sent pika to deal with them?kenbunshoku is not an "always on" radar, you have to actively "listen" for voices if you want to hear anyone.
Wait so did she make a contract with Doll Robin? Is Robin free like the Toy Soldier or not?
Wait so did she make a contract with Doll Robin? Is Robin free like the Toy Soldier or not?
no she didn't
probably because robin attacked her from far away with his hands,so sugar didn't knew where robin was,and so she couldn't make the contract
Seriously DD has Haoshoku no Haki but isn't able to detect Luffy, Violet and the Toy soldier in the same room with Kenbunshoku no Haki ?
This isn't Bleach.
Otohime had Elder God-tier observation haki and couldn't dodge a bullet to the heart from Hodi despite dodging a bullet to the head in the first panel she was introduced.
Care to elaborate? What have you seen that we haven't?!
i meant her hands,made an error,sorry
robin attacked sugar with her hands, but she was probably hidden far away from sugar (no really any reason why she need to get any closer or reveal herself)..so when her hands were touched by sugar, she turned into a toy,but sugar didn't know where robin was,so she was not able to make a contract with her
Love the colour cover spread, Zoro looks particularily bab-ass.
I liked what happened in the chapter, but didn't like the chapter itself. The part with trebol and the dwarves took way more pages than necessary.
But I guess many people said that already.
I wonder if Robin will still do something to help usopp fight.
The chapter was not bad, but the break comes on the worst time.
OP, thanks to the breaks, nowadays became so slow paced that sometimes everything look "frozen".
But that's my opinion…
Seriously DD has Haoshoku no Haki but isn't able to detect Luffy, Violet and the Toy soldier in the same room with Kenbunshoku no Haki ?
So far we only saw Doffy dodging Smoker's punch. He has not some Fuji/Aisa/Coby level of observation Haki IMO.
@Maju:
why would he search in his room for them when he sent pika to deal with them?kenbunshoku is not an "always on" radar, you have to actively "listen" for voices if you want to hear anyone.
Caribou does not approve this statement. Oh wait, he does not approve mine either, since the monster trio are not Fuji/Aisa/Coby level in term of observation Haki.
I give up, Haki always wins in the end.
I find it curious people are way more irritated about the "page wasting" rather than the stuff in the chapter itself.
Mainly because, gripes aside, if Oda had to at least build up Usopp's return and the way to do it was through the dwarves plight and trust, then it needed an important number of pages.
Honestly, if anything, I would've prefered the entire chapter to be 100% focused on the Usopp situation, even if I didn't like the way it was resolved. It was a grave enough situation to give it, at least, the 14 pages Oda gave it.
Every once in a while Oda decides to entirely dedicate a chapter to the characters that carry the emotional weight of an arc. It happened during Punk Hazard with the kids, and this was the dwarves turn. That, in itself, wasn't bad. I don't feel he wasted paged at all, to be honest.

Yup, but I must say that its odd dolfy hasn't sensed their presense when he knows the palace is under attack and has been infiltrated. He should be aware an invader could showup, so I would expect that he he would have his CoO guard up.
Its interesting that now Sabo with his pipe and borrowing Luffy's armor disguise looks exactly like Kyros from the flashback. I wonder if his victory will cause a distraction for DD or King Riku where they think Kyros has returned? Now we will have double Kyros and double DD (Kinemon), its gonna be messy.

Yeah, but wouldn't you expect someone with the Conqurers Haki to have decent CoO skillz? Atleast enough to pick up Some one like luffy near by
Regardless of what Usopp has done or said, I still felt such a huge pleasing rush after Usopp came back and made that speech. The speech, if it stood alone and the previous chapters where he was scared didn't exist, would have been one amazing development. I say that because, he hasn't ever bought into the whole pirates "do what they want" shtick. And he's kind of right, as pirates they aren't supposed to be heroes. But this is where the previous chapters kind of ruin it, b/c he promised them he would be their hero.. I'm just glad he said "… isn't it much cooler to put your life on the line and die a noble death?"
I don't want to sound like I'm going "lalala Usopp's great I can't hear you lalala" but in all honesty, Usopp wasn't planning on letting them die. He assumed they would stay down on the ground and eventually let Franky take care of it, whom Usopp assumed would be there any minute. And once he saw how ridiculously over-trusting they were, he came back. Yes, a coward, but he didn't "leave them for dead" (or at least intend to) as many people claim, or have claimed, before. The funny thing is that Oda probably doesn't take the lines he wrote for Usopp in previous weeks very seriously. He's probably like "haha that's funny, I'm sure everyone will get it, Usopp isn't really THAT cruel" and here we are going "Usopp you suck, you are allowing murder to take place, you don't care about friends, you're a pussy, go die."
Btw, SIIIIIICK colour spread. Zoro made me think of Smoker with the pose and sunglasses.
If Kyros used some make up he would look exactly like Ideo.
The Tontatta's faith in Usopp was heartwarming and fortunately enough to convince that old coward. Now I just hope Trebol doesn't murder him. I wonder why Sugar was blushing in that one panel though…
Kyros seems like a cool guy. Him and Luffy would've been best buds had they both met in their youth.
The dwarves bit was a bit overdone, but I guess Usopp needed to hear their cries of agony before he turned back. Trebol should be revealed as a Logia after that panel. Not sure how Usopp will win if he's up against a Logia, Haki or Crafty?
I thought the flashback of Kyros was misplaced, I kind of just wanted to stay with Usopp and watch a fight with no interruptions… Now we might just come back to a flashback, or to another group. Wouldn't mind seeing what Zoro does against Pica

I think Sugar is still a kid.
His behaviour as a Dofla pirate member is not a "kiddish" behaviour, but the behaviour of a spoiled kid.
She's happy, she makes cute toys, she eats her favourite food no stop, she plays the badass pirate role game, she has the luck to play with older guys (something kids love), she has fun in what she does but she doesn't understand what her action implies.
It's also to mention that Toy can't voice their feelings and their frustrations, and Sugar can't hear the inner pain, so she's not used to come to terms with the outcome of her actions, she maybe has never questioned that her actions bring pain.
Though, for the first time in her life she heard the cry of the Tontattas and maybe started to question his act.
In my eyes, for some reason, when I saw young king riku I thought "flip, he reminds me ohf Goku" than I saw Kyros and thought" oh shit, Vegeta!"
I think next chapter will continue Kyro's flashback and when it's done then we will get to see Usopp again.
Btw did anyone notice the play on words on some well-known idioms/general phrases in the spread?
On Brook's tank: "All's well that ends welt"
On Chopper's tank: "Its takes two to a quarre" (Based on "It takes two to tango" but there's a word beside the red mouse that we can't see very well so idk if this is the entirety of it. Also a couple of grammar/spelling mistakes as "its" should be "it" and I think "quarre" is supposed to be "quarrel")
And then on Franky the unchanged: "Boys will be boys"
Caribou does not approve this statement. Oh wait, he does not approve mine either, since the monster trio are not Fuji/Aisa/Coby level in term of observation Haki.
I give up, Haki always wins in the end.
It could be argued that Luffy was actively looking for Shirahoshi when he noticed Caribou.
I must say this comes as one of the worst chapters i have ever read in op…

This is definitely weird, I can't deny it. But I think Oda knows this perfectly. He might have thought of a really good scene that requires Luffy to stay hidden, and he decided to draw it regardless of the mini-"plothole".
And there is no need to discuss a little mistake he might have done on purpose for better story telling. It is even more pointless when the mistake is haki related.
USOPP IS THE MAN!!!!!!!! Aw i can't wait to see what happens two weeks from now.
I don't agree with the notion about Sugar betraying DD though. She's been trapped in the body of a child for who knows how long! Maybe decades! There's something really insidious about that….someone who never fully became an adult, yet probably has more violent tendencies since she's been working with DD for a while now. Honestly, she really creeps me out. And anyone who would use a power as innocent as toymaking into something akin to slavery and mind control for years and years on end, really has no empathy at all. Violet had used her role as an assassin as a cover in order to survive under DD but Sugar probably enjoys the mayham. No I really don't think she is going to betray him.
I do think this will be the most epic fight of Usopp's life, at least so far!
No one can please everyone. I'm glad that I'm pleased with the recent chapters.
So am I, you guys depress me lol, i'm very glad that I don't feel the way all the people complaining feel. I say it,s cause people can't stand the week by week chapters, if there isn't what the ywant to see in the chapter, then they go ''… meh chapter, boring... ''
I'm very glad I find myself enjoying 90-95% of the one piece chapters.
Does anyone think that they could change thebwanted posters name from Sogeking to Usopp? Well probably not, since there weren't any marines to listen, I think.

There's probably a marine or two among the toys
Loved the chapter. Can't wait to read it clean on volume format.
Wow, just realized Kyros gave King Riku his scar.
It could be argued that Luffy was actively looking for Shirahoshi when he noticed Caribou.
And I would have no reason to disagree. But this explanation is good only because it does not come with plothole. Based on assumption and faith in Oda's perfection, the majority of the rules behind haki should not be takken too seriously.

I'd love to see Usopp taking on a big shot like Trebol, surely not beating him by physical strength but, as others suspected, by outsmarting him in a way. After all he is part of the future Pirate King's crew and the son of Yasopp, people seem to keep forgetting that.
Sooner or later he has to do something big, and it's not like these past few chapters were a bulid up for that in any, right? Like showing that Trebol is a skillfull sniper, no foreshadowing at all, right? No totally all just red herrings by Oda, surely someone will have to save that good for nothing weakling Usopp.Well, I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
Good post man, I agree
Loved this chapter, Usoland striked as I thought. And I can't wait to see Kyros turn back into a human! You could check out my review of it!
How do you know that DD isn't sniper in DD crew, ha? He did, after all, sniped the tower in the town…
what a terrible post hahahaha
So will Kyros get back his leg when he transforms to human form?

Yup. She totally felt guilt when she transformed those other Dwarves into toys and ordered them to kill their own friends.

By this logic, why not have Zoro defeat Fujitora already?
Usopp is simply not on that level yet. Characters are supposed to have believable limitations.
He will win by taking down Sugar. He doesn't really need to overcome Trebòl himself.
Pretty sure Kyros will get one-shotted by Joker. Theres a huge difference between 1000 gladiator cosplay weaklings and a guy who can shrug off AO KIJI.
I liked the chapter, and was like, "I guess people will be talking about Trebol being a logia or something in the forums"… was surprised there was so much Usopp-story-bashing, because it didn't even occur to me that there would be. I guess Oda didn't make it credible enough to some people. The important thing is that the fight with Usopp is now beginning, and he overcame his fear to do so.
IMO, serious emotional stuff (especially aside from with Luffy) has never been a strong point of Oda's or a focus, more like fun and unpredictable writing (which this chapter doesn't try to do).
Yup. She totally felt guilt when she transformed those other Dwarves into toys and ordered them to kill their own friends.
At best her panel might be connected to fact that Doflamingo might have had saved her in past, that he was her hero of some sorts after she was in need of saving. So she related in a way by tiny bit to Dwarfs situation.
Trebol with his chains on legs might have been some slave of Celestial Dragons. Monet and Vergo were willing to die for Doffy and I dont think his charisma and CoC were only reasons. He seems to treat them like family, as they hold a lot of value to him once they became part of his crew. Some of Doflamingo pirates seem like they were Doflamingos servants by time when he was Celestial Dragon or by title(like they were loyal to his father or something like that), something like that and some other members are loyal to Doffy presumably for frienship reasons on first place.
Gladius and Lao G keep calling Doflamingo young master while some others call him Doffy. Maybe it has meaning in their origin as crewmembers so to say. Its worth to think about it for a moment.
Great chapter …. Time for Ussop to shine
Kyros story based from Ancient Roman
So will Kyros get back his leg when he transforms to human form?
Yeah, I'm wondering about his leg as well…Did he lose his leg in a battle right before he was turned into a toy? Or was his toyleg just ripped off? That missing leg has been bothering me ever since I noticed he was like that.
But I kind of like where Oda is going with Kyros' story. I mean, he started out as a hated hooligan who felt all he could do was fight as a gladiator for the rest of his days. Now as a toy, he's kind of shed that identity for that of a resistance fighter. A REAL hero who is making a difference behind the scenes. Not to mention ending up as a tutor and guardian for the King's Granddaughter after Dressrosa was taken over. I can't help but wonder if he will be honored for this once Dressrosa is freed.
It's possible that sugar thinks it's all a game, we have only seen her turn people into toys, but haven't seen her around the results. Possible she has't had any exposure to any of the real suffering. As for her violent tendencies those are learn behavior in lids, and if they are reinforce say by those around her , isn't that a form of manipualtion, which seems to be Don flamingos forte
Nice detail: During Leo's speech where it shows the trash heap, we can still see the damage Elizabello did with his King Punch.
