Hey guys thanks for the tip last time!
I now have a new question to ask…
How do i complete the legend in water 7 that says ''Clear stage without engineers calling reinforcements''?

If I recall you just need to constantly defeat all messengers who head towards the gate guard before Nami reaches the guard and puts an end to the reinforcements.

Throughly enjoying the game, got it in the Steam Winter sale and thus far have 104 hours racked up.

Hit a bit of a wall though; I need more gold coins so everyone other than Robin can break through their limit. Does Nightmare log help there or is it all bounty only?

As far as I know Nightmare Log is simply the game's extra-hard mode.
You'll win the same things playing on Adventure Log.

Problem is it says something like "beat a strong opponent", but I've already pummeled the Dream Log bosses. Guessing Nightmare mode's bosses must do similiar.

Whenever you beat the final island the Bosses reappear.
So just go beat the island after Shanks, the one with all the Straw Hats, and then beat the new bosses.
Repeat until you got every character/coin you need.

Reseting the bosses doesn't take away the ranks you already got on those islands, btw.

Thanks a lot FolhaS, I was slightly concerned when I beat the last boss and was wondering how the heck to proceed.

Having played DataHACKS playable support mod(fun mod btw) I'm now really hankering for truly playable support character cast in the next game; Mr. 3, Mr. 2, Mr. 1, Bellamy, Coby, Arlong, Hachi, Kuro, Krieg…they're so close to being complete it's a little disheartening that they most likely will never truly make the jump to playable character.

Gotta dream of the day I get to play Galdino in a modern game...or that Little Garden gets any attention at all.

If you decide to get the Support mod; for the love of Usopp, choose one of Luffy's multiple pre-timeskip outfits to paste over with the Support character...I found out the hard way you can't get the true character back afterwards after my game save file didn't quite work.

Started playing it a couple of days ago. When I play Dream Mode, I get excited like a kid every time someone I forgot about or didn't expect appears. So much fun.

Wish the combat was more complex, but that's probably Dark Souls 2 or DMC influence (played them before this). It's really entertaining nonetheless.

I'm guessing Luffy won't become avaliable in Dream Mode until a certain point in Story Mode?

Before doing that I already maxed out sanji's crew level…..so now the next skill is getting sanji's crew level to 2. Since mine is already maxed out, how do I achieve that cause it didn't unlock automatically. Thanks

so you cant get teach double df costume until last island
after clearing last island all bosses will return next time dont use shanks on first island then go beat shanks with teach you get whitebeard coin play with teach again and double df costume will be unlocked

its related to another character skill poster if it has a + after skill name

Just play another level with him and it should unlock automacally by the end of it, if that's like what happend to me.

REALLY doubt we'll be seeing characters based on other external IPs they've done Musou versions of. Musou Stars will most definitely be like a new version of Orochi making a crossover of most properties that belong to KoeiTecmo.

I really don't expect to see One Piece, Gundam, Fist of the North Star, Attack on Titan, Arslan, and/or Berserk characters making an appearance on it at all.

I was going for a no-coin run of the story, but it gets ridiculously hard. I didn't realise just how much of a difference coins make. I've given up that challenge.

I have been playing this game recently. It is really a fun game indeed! I have not really played much of this type of game, but regardless I am enjoying it greatly! My main goal right now is get through Legend Log, while at same time getting stuff I missed in previous chapters. Like the Treasure Events for example. Though getting an S rank on each of the stages, seems difficult, as I tried doing that for the first stage, but still did not get it yet. But regardless, I get there eventually! ^^

Finished the story (not playing too often). Going through and S ranking it all now. Remembering how OP Law is, he's my go to guy for when I can't do something. Easy complete every time.
Caesar still seems to be my character of choice, followed by Crocodile, so that's good.

WARNING THIS IS A RANT/SPECULATION POST ABOUT BB PROBLEMS AND WHY PW4 SHOULD HAPPEN

A part of me knows this is pointless but still, i feel like if the Burning Blood series dies out. (hard to say whether it will or not) That the PW series may still have a chance. I realized that when Naruto Storm 4 released, so did Burning Blood (only 2 months later) perhaps they were trying to grab that audience since there wont be anymore Naruto Storm games (at least not for awhile) and give them some new content to bite into. But the problem with that was the game didn't have enough content for a newcomers into the series with the story mode being 1 arc and that arc being critical in the series, however it leaves many people who don't know the series very well in the dark as to what happens before hand. As for us veterans, it wasn't enough content. The story mode being one arc was utterly ridiculous. There were no pre-time skip straw hats (except luffy) and certain key charcters were not playable. Now if BB2 happens im sure they will patch up those rough spots (hopefully).

Now as for the PW series there is still so much that can be done with it even now. Im sure if they wait till the Big Mom arc closes,(probably around the summer-fall time of next year) they will have time to put more content in. Such as more playable charcters, this would be the FOURTH installment in the series, we are overddue on many charcters. In order for PW4 to succeed, they will need to upgrade many if not all the supports to playable, while adding new charcters never before seen in the PW series such as:
-Kalifa
-Kumadori
-Fukuro
-MR. 5
-Ms. Valentine
-Miss Doublefinger
-Absalom
-Ryuma
-Chew
-Kuroobi
-Trebol
-Pica
-Diamante
ETC.
(please dont hesitate to add to the list please)

And you all know the support characters, i dont even have to name all of them.

Another thing they did well in PW1 was the character specific situations you were put in, like if you fought Hachi on Arlong Park in story mode, you didnt fight him as Sanji or Luffy, you fought him as Zoro, and you fought arlong as Luffy. Now I know this might sound dumb to some people. But that was a fun aspect of the game, instead of playing as the same characters doing the same combos for 17-25 minutes. You could play as different characters corresponding with the story. And if you wanted to just play one character (or any character at that) the whole time then thats where free mode would come into play. The way I see it, this game has so much potential, and I think the developers know it. They just need time gather up more content and time to put it all together. Well those are my thoughts on a subject that nobody cares about lol. if you read this far thank you so much.

I hope not. The story for PW2 was so god-awful and their spin on the Dressrosa Arc in Pw3 wasn't much better.

PW4 may benefit from Yonkou gimmicks somehow. I don't know, something among the lines of "be your own pirate lord and capture territories" and each island available would be an island the Strawhats have been to, and at the end, we would have an imaginary Laftel. I can see that happening, despite how I feel about it.

I mean, since Luffy and Law made an alliance, must games from that spot on focused on that (the 3DS game with allies and double battles were you could switch between partners instantly; PW3 with Kizuna Rush; etc). Maybe we will have something Yonkou oriented this time around.

Even though that's already happening, but still a horrible decision in my opinion. It would just ruin the whole 3 vs 3 battle system.

Based on the last link interview we might be getting new One Piece open world games for the PS4 and Xbox One in the future. I don't think Ganbarion will develop One Piece games for Xbox One, so it has to be new developers. Maybe Koji Nakajima got connections with CyberConnect2, Level5, or Platinum Games. Who knows?

Platinum games - seems to stick heavily to 1 gameplay style for many games that aren't from the same series. That seems not creative and basically drains the excitement for a new game from them.

CC2 - it seems like after Storm Generations, their development team & quality fell down in certain areas that are important (they basically reused stuff from Jojo: All Star Battle for Eyes of Heaven plus they ignored updating many characters for the Ninja Storm Games after Generations)

If memory serves me right PW already had some variant of the Kizuna rush before the alliance, as a way to represent some of the crew attacks we saw along the series. Like stuff against Oars in TB or against the Pacifista in Sabaody.

But that capture the territories mode seems like the next step.
Since it's been a few years since the last PW, if they hopefully make another, they would have enough new story and characters to cover, besides filling a few blanks left behind. I'm guessing they will/would add a story mode to it.
But having a mode similar to Dream Log where instead of just clearing the stages you have to conquer them and keep them against CPU, maybe building your own crew and supports along the way, would be a nice layer to add.

I've only played story-mode based Dynasty Warriors, but I know they have these conquest versions of the game and something like that would work really well in future OP games.

As for the PW4 thing, Dynasty Warriors 9 is announced to be open world. I don't think they mean "GTA: Ancient China" but more that they're really playing up the RPG elements you get in the series, especially in Empires, and letting you walk around a large open world where you can trigger battles that then take place in a fenced-off part of the world. I don't see battles taking places across the whole of China in real time. It'll be more like a usual JRPG where you have the world to explore but battles take place in their own zone or within a restrained area within the world.

Anyway, I'd imagine PW4 will of course be based on that engine and therefore could have similar open world elements. That would be really cool. Exploring the OP world by boat like Wind Waker or Skies of Arcadia, or even just the sailing being automatic - either would be a lot of fun.

I know I must be missing something but on enies lobby I just can't get that final treasure event to work.
The one where you have to beat Lucci to that treasure point.
I've beaten both Jabra and Kaku. Broke the switch. Cleared the territories for Usopp and Franky and made it to the location before Lucci. But none of that works. I've even tried everything in different orders and on different difficulties with every Strawhat character. Nothing is working.

After my 15th attempt I need a break from it and a solution.
