RE: JUMP FORCE (2019 Video Game)
I'm starting to think that's not the officially release date, Bandai didn't set it for early 2019. It's taking while to get a new scan from wsj or vj for full confirmation even though the vj cover says "Scheduled to be released in 2019".
It just seems YonkouProductions and this user
probably just went off ScotchInformer info.
If it turns out to be true, i apologize.

I like this scan. I wish Garp, Coby, and Hina were part of it.

RE: JUMP FORCE (2019 Video Game)
Wah, I'm really warming to the look of it - I hope the gameplay shapes up. So tired of tag team stuff though. Bleh.
I understand Japan players complaints about Jump Force not being 2 vs 2 similar to J Stars.
But your complaint about this game tag team makes no damn sense when you want a One Piece fighting game catered to Dragon Ball FighterZ.
We barely have many arena fighters with this battle system. 2D/Tekken style fighters have a freaking wardrobe of games with a tag team battle system.
All this tag team is inspired by wrestling, it's a popular genre, that's why they're using it.

If Blackbeard is a playable character along with the other One Piece characters from J Stars Victory VS, this makes me believe we might get 4-6 characters per series.

I'm definitely maining Zoro after seeing that sick detailed one sword style lion strike. Sasuke moveset is awesome too, I like how they zoom on his face for his attacks and amaterasu feels more realistic than J Stars Victory VS.
I can't wait to see Ace, Boa Hancock, and Akainu.

Spike never ceases to amaze me. I guess Burning Blood 2 for 2020, perfect opportunity to add Revive and Wano content.

Probably a new movie, but who knows.

RE: One Piece World Seeker (PS4, Open World(?), 2018)
Tales games are like fast food mid tier RPG's, Namco ain't moving the teams off those games.
I disagree because the Tales of are more than just RPG games. They also have fighting game elements.
We haven't got any One Piece game focus on team party members fighting together against enemies nostop with so many different styles of team attacks.
Bandai Namco in Dragon Ball FighterZ interview by Game Informer said they willing to work with any gaming studio even western developers to develop anime games as long as they fully know the series.
So that statement about Bandai won't let the Tales of team to develop a One Piece game is load of crap.
I can say the same thing for Ganbarion never going to develop a Dragon Ball, but they did and it's pretty decent. Sold well in Japan as it should.
Spike was stuck developing Dragon Ball games for long and now they're free from it. J Stars Victory VS and One Piece Burning Blood may not be their best games, but it's still a start for them to try something new. They just need sequels.
I personally think the developers of the Seven Deadly Sins game should have developed One Piece game instead Spike because they would add adventure/free roaming/RPG and fighting. It would be One Piece Burning Blood + One Piece Pirate Warriors. This way pleases every One Piece fan.
No developer is limited to one game dude. Look up Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet, it's develop by Dimps and not Artdink this time. One day, I hope Dimps develops a One Piece game.
