I'm very confused as to what's game dialogue and what's just voice chat.
-
All these shooters are starting to blend together.
-

Platinum presents: Dragons May Cry
-
Big monsters and guns and more big monsters and…
-
I liked what I saw despite douchy guy design. Never played a Crackdown so don't care.
-
"We like Dominoes."
I'm more of a Pizza Hut guy.
-
Please tell me this is Crackdown.
-

So you're saying it's about time for Fifa then?

Keep holding on to the sinking ship, Microsoft.
-
Games. Games. Games. Features. Games. Experience. Games. Games. Games.
-
this was definitely a step up from last year.
well played phil well played
-
I thought this was ok kind of normal. I don't expect Sony to be better just more suited to my taste. Like if you're a shooter guy this was probably pretty cool.
-
I just wanted a Giant Enemy Crab moment sigh, maybe with Sony…
-
Not a bad conference. Only Sunset and Scalebound grabbed my attention.
-

Kind of the same. Scalebound might be cool, but I need time to actually see more than just a cg trailer even if it is platinum
-
If these were the types of games I played I would be pretty hyped, good show MS.
-
Certainly not me. I don't give a shit about any First Person Shooters.
I second this notion. First person shooters are just boring as all hell IMO. -_-
-
Well so far for me, I'm just excited for the news of the new Tomb Raider game.
-
Sunset overdrive, Scalebound and Crackdown all look pretty hype, Platinum games has yet to do wrong by me. The other games that I was interested in were all multiplat like The Witcher and Tomb Raider.
The Conker's teaser was absolutely disgusting though.
All in all it was a better conference than I was expecting, though my expectations were dirt low.
-
Well, that certainly was underwhelming. Either most of the titles were already announced/ leaked beforehand or were just lame. Some good games here and there, but overall meh. Sony just needs to bring a couple huge surprises and they will at least win the big 2 war.^^
-
I want to stay up for Sony's presentation but 3 AM is pretty darn late…
There were some fun things amongst Microsoft's line-up but nothing that left me speechless.

They are probably going to bring out Uncharted 4 and Last Guardian .

lol. I wouldn't get peoples hopes up
-
Part of me feels bad for muting Spike. Only part though.

Even if that happens I'd probably still feel the same. If Sony really wants to blow my mind they need to give the Vita a second wind, show some exclusive JRPGs(first and foremost another RPG with the Ghibli engine don't care if its Ni no Kuni 2 or something new) and blow some serious news about project beast.
And yeah none of that is going to happen so it's probably going to mirror MS at best. I mean I'm sure someone felt about Crackdown the same way I feel about TLG.
-
Great conference. Not all the games appeal to me, Sunset Overdrive most of all that's an exclusive, but it seems they're giving Sony a run for their money conference wise.
-
No love for Witcher 3 huh. I guess this shows that the lack of enthusiasm at the conference wasn't a fluke.
I on the other hand loved it. I've been waiting months and months to see it in action and this was good. Still waay to short but good none the less. I wonder if that's all they're going to show here.
-
I'm happy we finally got gameplay too. Looks pretty cool, especially the combat and how there's dismemberment. I wonder if that demo was running on Xbone or PC.
-
3 more hours left at work - relying on this thread to let me know whats happening since I can't view the streams dammit :(
That said from the sounds of it Tomb Raider 2 is the only thing I would have been interested in except maybe the Sunset thing you guys were getting enthusiastic over.

Never played it, never cared. Maybe because it's too much of a "macho masculine" kind of game. Not that I'm calling Geralt (is that his name?) a shallow character or anything, it just doesn't seem like I'd enjoy it, RPG fan that I am.
-
I'd prefer a master chef cooking game over the overdone Halo series.
Still won't beat Cooking with Scorpion!

Didn't really pay attention during it because I plan on getting it anyway. They've shown and told me enough already I just want to play it at this point.

I have no idea what you mean by macho masculine, so I wouldn't know how to present a counter argument to it.
All I know is that it has great story, great characters, great world and basically the good things you'd want from a choice and consequence game.
Maybe try it before you knock it? I realize that you're already biased against them and you probably won't be convinced but if you are an RPG fan and you don't mind giving things chances to at least experience them before writing them off then play them, I can personally say that they are great.
-
I haven't
otten much out of most of the wrpgs I've played so far and I'm still interested in the witcher 3 -
All in all, Microsoft's conference was pretty good with a nice constant focus on the games. There were some things that stood out for me; Sunset Overdrive, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Ori and the Blind Forest and Scalebound look to be winners for me.
I may not play Halo that much, but the Master Chief Collection does seem like a cool idea for Halo fans old & new while the wait for Halo 5 continues…
-
They are probably going to bring out Uncharted 4 and Last Guardian .
With Henning and the other guy leaving, and the voice of the villain leaving, and the guys who made Last of Us taking over, will the game remain the same? If they aren't redoing a lot, more to their tastes, then sure, I expect to see something.
-
time for EA. hoping for Mirrors Edge 2 stuff
-
EA to being soon, this should be good for a laugh.
-
Star Wars belongs to everyone
You owe Disney $2 for having heard that
-
starting off big with battlefront. nice
-
That conference was somewhat underwhelming… for someone who doesn't own an XBONE.
The thing is, a lot of those games do seem interesting and I would surely get some of them if I owned an XBONE. The fact is none of them are really system sellers, the closest thing for me is Sunset Overdrive - the rest either aren't worth the entry price or are multiplatform releases. This is where I know that I'm not going to be excited for the XBONE because, right now there are no games worth it for the system, and E3 - the expo which essentially illustrates the upcoming year for each system - did nothing to change that fact.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Time for EA, that Star Wars video hit some sweet spots.

It's all about the games now here's the cello solo
