I just noticed this.
LOL the brothers are reunited in thos chapter… Nice find
Ah, the Mangastream version is out! Wonderful. Absolutely great. Luffy's tears and then the sake cups…aaaw. Bartolomeo's fanboying never gets old to me either. Koala and Sabo. Interesting team. I also appriciate that Koala isn't really another Nami clone. Her eyes look different and her face seems slightly rounder, too. Body type is same, but at least there are variations in the face. She looks like her child design grown up, which is nice.
Break next week?

I still wrote my stupid broiler though.
! Diamante gets quadruple KO'ed thru colosseum by finalists. Sabo lets Rebecca win after beating Burgess.
Luffy vs Doflamingo: Beats the mastermind duh
Zoro vs Fujitora: Saves Law, ends in draw
Franky & Toy Soldier & Dwarves vs Pica & Co: Factory goes WTFBOOM ala Franky
Robin & Usopp vs Trebol & Sugar: Both turns into toys, but Usopp saves the day and Robin awakens haki to defeat Trebol.
Revolutionaries vs CP0: Revs stops them from interfering Luffy's fight.
Curlybro Pirates & Clown & Whitebeard Pirates vs Big Mom Crew vs Pirate Dispatch Society vs Mystery Shichibukai: Your mind = blown
That is a pretty neat prediction! Although the last one isn't to happen in this arc, i think.
NEW PAIRING!!!!!!! SABO X KOALA!!!!!!!!!!
One Piece is the best!!
Oh by the way, out of Diamante, Trebol and Pica….Is it now official that Trebol is the strongest?
Since the Toy Soldier claims that he is and thus in charge of protecting this Sugar girl..
He might just be best suited to being her bodyguard rather than the strongest of the 3, due to what we assume are his capabilites as a logia.
I think all 3 are pretty even strength wise.
I don't care who gets the mera mera no mi, as Long as someone wipes off the grin out of Burgess' face (and Diamante's). So Dia is protecting the DF and Trebol protects Sugar. But what about Pica? Does he also protect the factory or the entrance to the factory from the castle? (cause we saw it on Soldier's blueprints that there is a corridor from the Palace to the factory). I also saw the "ACE" text on those blueprints - totally cute reunion!
I cant believe it. The day has finally come. Sniff After all this time…..........The 'Who is Sabo' theories will finally stop. Oh, and Sabo is alive; that's great too I guess. BUT THE 'THIS PERSON IS SABO' THEORIES WILL FINALLY END. Oh, Joyous Day!!
So, Caribou's cover story officially ends. Well that sure took long.
Dellinger is about to finish Bellamy off (with one foot? How strong is this guy?) when Barty puts a barrier to defend him. Dellinger's frustrated, but is forced to retreat because of new orders, declaring the two of them will not leave Dressrosa alive. Again Barty shows how awesome he is! He defends someone he considers an ally, and makes a big speech. Plus more Luffy fanboying. Ha!
Speaking of, Luffy learns why Barty entered the tournament, and a mysterious figure shows up to oppose…
...Usopp, Robin, and Franky learn more about the Toy Soldier's plot, and it involves knocking out the toy user Sugar. Like I mentioned in the spoiler thread, this is a little too easy of a solution, but it's not exactly new for devil fruits. And obviously this is easier said than done, so I guess I can't be too bummed.
Luffy, Zoro, and Kinemon escape in animal costumes (the hell? lol), while the grown-up Koala, a teacher of Fishmen Karate (yay!) talks on a Den Den Mushi. Really neat she's part of the Revoluntaries, and even neater than she knows Robin. I'm dying to see her meet Jinbei again.
Oh yeah, that mysterious figure. Oda doesn't give any names, but c'mon.....the motive, Luffy's shock face + tears, and the final page? Obviously Sabo! And from that, the endless Sabo is alive / is dead debates can finally cease. Hopefully that overplayed X is Sabo joke, too.
But again, I'll restate what I said in the spoiler thread......Oda is adding more and more things to this arc. Not automatically a bad thing, but he seriously has to be careful how he approaches each plot point. Unlike Punk Hazard, things seem to be more connected (all to Doflamingo, his background, and his regime), but it's far too easy to overlook one point in favor for the other. And we still have the tournament to finish!
My anxieties aside, awesome chapter. Be careful, Oda.
In the years I've been here I've only ever read the spoilers once. And it was not worth it. It's much better to read the chapter without knowing anything that's going to happen, so you can get the full effect of Oda's brilliant storytelling.
Sabo's back! I personally thought his comeback would be more epic, but this works for me. The only thing that needs explaining is why Sabo shows up trying to protect Ace's will, but wasn't at the war to protect Ace's life. And anyone who thinks Sabo can't handle Burgess have nothing to base that off. What we know is that Sabo and Ace were around the same level as kids, and progressed at the same level too which shows Sabo's consistency in increasing his strength and keeping up with the outrageous Ds. So there's a reasonable chance that Sabo could be stronger than Luffy. Sabo will probably eat the mera mera fruit… which makes sense (funny I expected Sabo to appear for the fruit when it was first shown, then dropped that idea completely due to the huge increase in characters in the arc). Nice to see Koala back aswell, which now doubles the chances of a Jinbe appearance (Big Mom's crew arriving also increased the chances, and Hack). Jinbe is the only one we know that can recognise Koala... and she'll find out what really happened after Fisher Tiger dropped her off to her home. Funny that she knows Robin yet Robin didn't say a damn thing when Jinbe was telling his story on Fishman Island. Codenames? Koala also seems to be wearing Sabo's hat. So does Dragon randomly kidnap little kids? No wonder he's the most wanted man alive.
Bellamy will probably play a deciding role in the arc, finally revealing what choice he'll make now that he knows the man he respected wants him dead. He might pop up at a critical moment later on in the arc and help/ save Luffy or something. Bartolomeo still has that mystery briefcase which I wonder about. And then there's the fighters trapped under the colosseum. I can't wait to see how Oda weaves everything together towards the final showdown of the arc. The build up will make it super intense I bet, there's so many plots to address. For me, so far, this is the best arc since Skypiea.
So in the past couple of weeks I've been wondering who will be able to stop a top tier powerhouse like Fujitora? (or Big Mom though I doubt she's onboard)
Enter the Dragon.
Oda's not that predictable. Sabo shows up and everything's going to be alright? Lol.
We know nothing of Sabo, Diamante or Burgess's capabilities.
but for one piece to have despair after despair, fail after fail, it's unlikely :/
He might just be best suited to being her bodyguard rather than the strongest of the 3, due to what we assume are his capabilites as a logia.

Sabo had a harem…..
Now Oda need to introduce a "new Sabo" for us to continue our habitual speculation about new characters
is S.O.P stands for Sex On the Phone?
p.s
no more "thats sabo!" for us whenever theres a new character being introduced and no more "jewelry bonney is koala" either
you sure????????
next is double issue
JUMP #04-05 : December 21 (Saturday because Monday 23 is a Public Holiday).

No, she doesn't just look it, she IS still a kid. A child's body that doesn't age is still a child's body.
That's not to say that I consider that an excuse to hold back on her, they can go all out if they want. Hell, that's exactly what I want them to do, these are desperate times after all.
However, it's not like she's a grown up in a kid's body, Sugar is just an eternal child.
Diamante accidentally eats the fruit, thus cockblocking everybody
@Esu:
I saw the convo but Sabo wasnt crying !!
So you needed to see Sabo's tears for you to be convinced that he wasn't crying because the dialogue didn't spell it clear enough for you? Dude…
lol clicking that link almost got me into trouble. im in a workplace right now as soon as i saw a bunch of pictures of a kid i closed my tab coz i dont want people here to think im a pedophile of something damn

Her body is that of a child, but only god knows how old the is. She lived much longer than we now, psychologically she should be an adult or maybe even an old woman (but thanks to manga logic, as long as you look like a child you will behave like a child in every single aspect).
that's new to me…
well they were talking about it long ago after that jinbe's flashback with koala and jewelry being all mysterious female character.
Is Robin acting wierd in this chapter? I mean, she was nervious and sweating all the time. Also, these two panels with her face… I find them suspicious.

The !st one is her admiration for Dofla one night take over, the 2nd one is her "I get it" reaction…
lol now more "That person is SABO!"
Now Oda need to introduce a "new Sabo" for us to continue our habitual speculation about new characters
yeah, first doflamingo was behind everything and sabo was everyone.
now we can't use both anymore.
Called the little girl having the toy powers. Can't wait to see what her personality's like. (Actually, what would happen if she and Bonney ever met?)
Glad to have Koala and Sabo back. About the dojo, though…couldn't it also be that there's simply some fishmen in the revolutionary army and that Koala helps teach them, or learned karate from them and helps teach other humans in the army? Just seems working at the dojo is a hard job for a human at the best of times, and more so with having to dive up to Baltigo/elsewhere and down to FI on a regular basis.
In any case, it seems clear that the revolutionaries in general have different goals than Luffy, and I always wondered about whether those goals would cause Luffy to clash with Sabo and Dragon eventually. Luffy might be okay with Sabo getting Ace's fruit, but Sabo said he can't allow Luffy to have it, maybe not even if Barto wins it for Luffy. That at least indicates some possible tension between them in the future. Looking forward to seeing how all that goes.
Oh jeez. I can't believe i didn't remember who Koala was till i just read it up on wiki. Awesome - that explains a whole lot then.
Well now its certain who the toy fruit user is. Still doesn't explain why toys cant control their bodies. Mby Trebol has has hypnoses skills.
Finaly the "is Sabo alive" bickering is done for.
maybe trebol is a glue logia, and he can glue ''thoughts'' into people's mind? anyone? :ninja:

That's an interesting thought. Right now the two of them might be overjoyed to have met the other, but what will happen once this is all over? Or if it's too early by then, what will happen once Sabo decides that pursuing his goals- which should also be the Revolutionaries'- is more important than supporting his childhood friend? That might make for some really good arc once the time comes; friends clashing and all that stuff.

i didn't immediately realized who she was,but her name and apperence was definitely familiar
Haha… I jst thought'd be funny
Lol I stared at it for about a minute trying to figure out if it was a genuine point about who was the strongest of the 3 officers, in some abstract way.
Fuck.

3 officers as in?
I am really confused about this chapter, personally Sabo being alive isn't something that amazing to me since i always knew he was alive, pretty boring but had a quite of Dialog which Oda needed to insert to explain events happening. I would say good story progression as to what Trebols role is, who the toy fruit user is and how she works, Bellamys devotion, Dellingers strength, where the factory is and where the deals take place, how Tontatta plan on getting there, the plans to do it. Also showing how D block was going, it was good to see how Rebecca is going and that she has a friend helping her to get to the finals.
Bellamy seems to be a "Double Agent", he loves Doflamingo no matter what he does to him but helps Luffy get out to beat him up. Bellamy has gotten his act together but he is seriously torn apart on what to do even though he doesn't actually say it.
Good story progression but personally boring on my part, more interested to see Fujitora and his decision, Doflamingo and his decisions, Violets influence on the Marines and what Big Mom will be doing if she stays around the other strawhats and if she will capture, follow or give up on them. Currently the Revolutionaries, Marines, Donquixote family and Big Moms decisions need to be known which will probably be mentioned in the next couple of chapters. Once we have this information we can see where this Arc is going to end up.
I don't think there will be another break until after 2-4 weeks. I can't remember the timetable off the top of my head.
we get it already lol, when u don't see doflamingo in a chapter, ur not 100% pleased
Brothers, guys, brothers. Not friends.
Sabo and Luffy are brothers, just like Ace.
Sabo will wipe the floor with Burgess.
Sabo will get the flame fruit and hand it over to Luffy since he knows Luffy is the right owner after risking his life to save Ace.
and he's gonna give it to sanji, right? for real now…
Great chapter, can't wait for the next one. Also, I wonder when Cavendish spots Sabo as Lucy, will he see through the disguise or will he attack Sabo? I think Sabo could handle Cabbage.
