And the fact that those two didn't go all out and weren't taken out by Straw Hats either also speaks for them having another fight. I can't see Nami fighting Jora either…

Vergo being taken out by Law, who's the co-protagonist of the saga, was nice enough. He was Law's enemy and tried to go all out against him (and Smoker).

And Monet didn't have any sort of major conflict with Nami. Zoro essentially took her out and credited Tashigi with the win. And how exactly didn't she go all out?

Yes, it was, but that doesn't say there won't be a fight if they come back.
Sure, Nami did not do anything else to Monet than one heat ball, but she saved Chopper twice from her. In total the panels with Nami and Monet are pretty much the same as Vergo vs Sanji. Also, Monet's goal at the time was to stop the pirates from taking the kids and it was Nami's decision that they save them in the first place.

Ok, perhaps I am wrong with them not going all out, but the way both of them got cocky and was fast taken out afterwards gave me the impression they could have done more if they would have been more aware of their situation.

The manga actually comes out on Mondays. The early scans are leaks that they're starting to slow down by shipping the magazines later.

Considering how this arc has gone, I think it was a smart move on Oda's part to take Nami, Brooke, Sanji and Chopper out of the story. Trying to juggle that many balls in the air would have diminished things. I only hope they get their deserved page time when we move to Zou.

They will, Oda has developed the Strawhats involved in this arc even feather with Ussop taking the lead, so is not out of the blue to picture Nami or Chooper having a huge character development after this arc assuming that those two are from the early days (Chooper is right at the start of the Grand Line)

Remember when he said:"I no longer belong to the weakling trio anymore!"? Of course he was also bragging. He maybe was prepared for GL-paradise-Standards but the NW is a completely different level.

When he was defeated by Trebol and Sugar a lot of people whined like "Boo hoo, he didn't make any progress in that Timeskip!" Yet a few chapters ago he showed again what he is capable of. Additionally his CoO has awakened. It was a Moment like the one when he shot Spandam right in the face @ EL but it was not as epically displayed as the Spandam shot.

He might still be one of the weaker SHs, but when everything is at stake you can count on him no matter what. And I am excited once he puts out Sogeking again. Maybe in the next main fight against a Yonkou-officer?

Sanji doesn't need to sink the ship himself. If he defeats Pekoms everything will be fine. HawKiddApoo-Alliance could still interfere and smart Sanji could escape while the Situation is messy. It wouldn't destroy Sanji's Monster trio power if he flees. A shipload full of Yonkou-pirates (IDK if BM is on it) isn't a Piece of cake after all (lol BM-pirates, "Piece of cake", what a wordplay!)

Another reason why Sanji hasn't "shined" at power-Level yet could be that Sanji is ashamed of the Okama techniques he learned. He might only uses them when no one else but the enemy is around. @ PH he was with Nami, Franky and Chopper (the wall-incident). Against Doffy he was watched by Nami, Chopper, Brook and Momo. Though against Vergo he was alone, wasn't he? Looks bad for my speculation…

Anyway he'd beat the crap outta Trebol if he was around.

Okama Sanji transformation that would boost his power seems intriguing… but yeah he fought with Vergo for some time alone. Maybe he knew there was no time for that transformation and he had to flee soon because of gas so he didn't use it? Imagine the outbreak on forums when he transforms to okama. Puts on dress, lipstick and all that xD

I don't see reason to say that Usopp didn't learn anything from timeskip after fight with Trebol and Sugar. Trebol is M3 level fighter (well weaker but around that level i presume) and there was also sugar so it was too much. But he still succeeded so... xD

I favour this theory, I just wonder if Oda would go with such a typical shounen trope. Also G-5 were watching their fight the whole time so not really.

I am really worried about Sanji, as said before he has had a hard time with the enemies he has faced from the time skip until now, if anything the only thing that I can say is that the power difference between him and zoro got bigger. Now he is alone against the undefined crew of BM, showed a lot of badassery but still, with all his strategic intelligence, I dont see a good end to that. I think the crew will get taken as hostages and taken to dressrosa so as to find the other SH crew member. I think that Kaidou after seeing the new of Doffy, Law and Luffy, started his trip to dressrosa. So I deem it possible that BM and Kaidou arrive at Dressrosa at the same time.
That surely will create a lot of confucion and there is when the SH will all be able to Flee. Cus you can not take care of two Yonkous after beating Doffy.

Why would Big mom come after the other STRAWHATS or capture the ones in the sunny as hostages?
Big mom don't give a shit about the Strawhats, she sent her people to capture Ceasar clown, even Tamago said- "sink the ship and everyone onboard, then we pick up CC from the water". This right here pissed me off, how a mere crewmate can casually say to sink a Strawhats ship while it has half the main crew members on board screams underestimation, it means not even the lowest of a yonko crew sees the Strawhats as anything but ants.

So I beleive this the right time for the Strawhats to let the one piece world and other yonko's know they are not to be messed around with, that they are actually a threat. By making Sanji and co beat Tamago and Pekoms up or sink that big mom ship will do the job, it will be big news if something like that happens since I'm sure Absalom the invincible journalist is watching or the marines are watching, they always watch the yonko's movement.

law was curb-stomped aswell, in fact anime did a favor for Law to prolong that fight while in the manga Dofla beat Law while talking on den den mushi.

And Law didn't do worse. He actually managed to defend against Doula even when injured by the previous fight, and is doing fine right now.

Well, you have to take in account that Law's ability is dependent on his stamina.

But the point, Sanji didn't do anything better. Everything he tried was blocked or dodged with little problem.

Luffy's attack was blocked easy even by DD's clone. Luffy had to take out red hawk and help from law to do any kind of damage to DD.

There is also the problem of parasite, still don't know how to get out of it. Luffy had the pis on his side for DD to not try that on him. Not sure about law, either pis made DD not use it on him or he just knows a counter for it.

Take sanji out, place luffy there, same conditions, and I don't see how he would do any better.

I can't place Luffy there because they were in the air.

The clone blocked a regular, stretched punch. Hardly impressive when we know the Octopus Merman from Hody's crew can also do it.

And Luffy only needed help because Doula was using Bellamy as a hostage shield, so Luffy couldn't go all out.

And Luffy will have to fight Doula 1-vs.1 anyway as he was taken out of scene and Law will be taken down by the time he returns, so the "he had help" excuse won't work again.

There's at least one impossible to deny difference. Law managed to scratch Doflamingo.

well, you also have to take in account that Sanji didn't know anything about Doflamingo and unlike Law who was fighting to kill Doflamingo Sanji wasn't, Sanji only attacked DOFLA just to tell him to pissoff from his crewmates.

Same with Law.
And another credit to Dofla seeing Sanji as a big threat, Sanji is the first character in one piece Doflamingo used a two named attacks on since he was introduced.

Obviously Oda had to give Law that one or Law would look like a joke. Law is a Shichibukai, he has known DOFLA for years and if someone like couldn't even give DOFLA a scratch then the joke is on.
