Did I say that? I just expressed what I felt about the chapter, and explained why I thought it was boring for the most part. The lack of strong enemies is making it difficult for me to get excited for any fights, so I just want Oda to get back to story. And I never said OP's story telling sucked because of that.
I guess every character in One Punch Man is fodder besides Saitama.

This is what I love about One Piece, even the relatively minor guys are given unique characterization that makes you care for them. Sai from the moment Luffy entered the coliseum, other participants of B and C block, etc.
Furthermore, you know that some of 'em will be met by the Straw Hats in the future. The fact that they're being showcased in the coliseum is an added bonus for us.
Ahhh, One Piece, you never fail to entertain me.

Have them pose a threat first. Seriously, it's painfully obvious that they are gonna get owned, whether they qualify as fodder or not. It's hard to get excited for that.

Absolutley nothing indeed. What makes this sort of manga entertaining in my opinion is all in the drawing and the details. Sadly i felt let down (for the most part) by this chapter after the "Buildup" in the last one. I didn't find the action nor the quality of the drawing to be that impressive this week, but thats just my opinion though.

That he knows where they are (either implies that a lot of them are in one place, or that he's somehow been able to track all of them) and that he's killed a bunch of them.
i've understood is as "i located some of them around the new world),not as "they are all assembling in one place"..and also the fact that he killed some of them is not that much of an inf,counting that we don't know any of them beside croco,jinbe and Blackbeard's crew

I'm honestly thinking something's going to happen after this match that will cause the tournament to close. It's too early for Luffy to be facing off against BB's first commander in the next round.

People who are upset with the chapter… don't forget this manga is a shonen manga. There is going to be this type of fighting involved.

Another user misusing words and not giving a reasonable critique. If you were to say that the stuff with Law is more interesting and all the time spent with the Colosseum is wasted, I can see where that's an argument. (It's wrong, there has been a ton of plot progression, character development, (Bellamy) world-building (Kano guys, bounty hunter revealing shit about level 6 prisoners), and quite a few new characters who are clearly going to be important to the arc and maybe to the whole of One Piece. (Bartolomeo, Cavendish)
Now how could this chapter be pointless? Maybe if you wanted the fight to be more concise it would make sense for it to be a little more than needed, but the fight is clearly something that Oda sees as important to the plot of Dressrossa, and I don't think you or I have the hindsight to call it pointless.

I was talking about this chapter and the previous one, not the whole Colosseum plot.
wasted pages on latterly nothing we all know that the main battle of C block is between Luffy and Don Chinjao so I say 3 chapters is way too much just for that. -

I get the feeling that Doflamingo knew about D. Chinjao's beef with Garp and told him that Luffy would participate in the tournament, and use him as fodder to test his strenght or possibly take him out while he deals with Law. Its Plausible considering how Don Chinjao doesnt seem to be motivated by the Mera Mera fruit.

Honestly I don't mind about lack of plot development from time to time! It's Oda after all; the plot development is gonna be there anyway at some point so there's no need to complain just because one chapter concentrates more of nuking it out!
Kelly's fruit is really… something. O_o
Also Sai was really badass in this chapter!
Almost a pity how badly he did in invitationals!It's also nice that Don Chinjao actually lost something in his battle with Garp, whatever it was! Taking it out on Luffy just because Garp nearly killed him (which probably happens to pirates you know, all the time) seemed kinda childish.
Poor Jean Ango! First bounty hunter in ages and he just gets pwn'd in two chapters! :sad:

I know the difference between reading a scanned chapter on a site such as MP and reading the actual issues (after all, i do buy and collect the books of various mangas such as One Piece) and i am used to this form of release schedule, and even far worse (like hoping to one day be able to put down the last ASOIF book)

Well, I'm one of the few fans that have been enjoying the tournament arc, don't know why some of you act like just cuz you don't like it means every one. I've been liking all the fun and new interesting characters and new powers, Bellamy has been pretty cool this arc and Don loving that guy, let's not forget about Bart and his connections with Luffy people, which I'm sure will come into play in future arcs. So e of these new guys that have had big parts in this arc such as the names I've just said I'm sure will play big roles later on, don't know about the rest though. Since this new bounty hunter guy has talked about catching Crocodile and
Other big names from level six I have a feeling he's not done with yet.With that being said, glad Crocodile got talked about again, wonder when he's coming back?

Exactly how strong is luffy? steamrolling through block C like no problem.Diamante does not seem to be intimidated at all by seeing luffy's strength so far does he really thinks he can defeat luffy easily and thinks bellamy can assasinate him.We know doffy has faith in him and thinks he can handle luffy but still we get a feeling that luffy will defeat him on mid diff.Also how the four fighters of Donquixote family were shown in number Lao G is 3rd so will luffy fight him after winning block C or does a block winner has to fight all four at same time then face Diamante?.

Chinjao talks about Garp destroying something of high value for Chinjao. If Chinjao shares Luffy's value of freedom, then I can see Chinjao wanting to punish Garp for enprisoning him.

I don't think Dof has any faith in Bellamy, I think he wants to kill two birds with one stone.
He has some of Dof's members in that thing for a reason I'm sure. -
