Katakuri going full beast mode is one of the coolest single character panels I've seen in awhile.

I can honestly see Isshou catching up with Luffy before reaching DD, but then reaching an agreement and letting him go to destroy DD.

I really like how this arc has an Alabasta feel to it, but also with a Skypia element in there (The prediction from Enel with the tournament).

Soooo, Mingo's clone… Is it made OF strings, or does it just have his strings fused into it with a doll? The later makes a lot more sense to me, but the explanation seems to lean more towards the formal.

I know it's a set-up chapter, bit I kept expecting something awesome to happen, or a cliff hanger, or at least SOMETHING. Guess we need these chapters once in awhile to fully appreciate One Piece though.

Well that was an anticlimactic end to the chapter. I was really hoping Usopp would step up by the end of the chapter, but nope. I wonder if there's a reason why the Tontatta think their captain is the only one who can beat DD, or if that was it.

EDIT: Last page was missing. Oh, the obvious revealing of the toy soldier. Derp. I guess it now makes sense why Sugar needs to go down ASAP. Get your ass in motion, Usopp.

Kind of off topic to what's being discussed right now in this topic, but I seriously hope this arc finally gives Zoro a proper fight. I miss when Zoro actually struggled in his actual fights, and we haven't really seen that since the time-skip.

I totally think Luffy is building an army of pirate allies for the final war in the story(Barto, Chinjou, etc.). It's definitely going to be like how Whitebeard called up all his pirate allies for Marineford, but you know, Luffy instead. That will be amazing.

On another note, I really wish Oda knew how to design significant women better. Seriously, since the time skip all the significant adult women look strikingly similar to Nami and/or Robin.

Oh boy, this is finally looking like the first ACTUAL fight since the time-skip… Excited, hoping it lasts a chapter. I'm honestly thinking something's going to happen after this match that will cause the tournament to close. It's too early for Luffy to be facing off against BB's first commander in the next round.

Not seeing why people are flipping out over the break. It's a bit more frequent than normal, but honestly not by much.
