@Sahar:
when it comes to the fight against Doffy, it seems people tend to think that Luffy isn't ready right now to take Doffy on 1 vs 1 => he needs someone to aid him. But if Luffy needs help against Doffy, I personally don't think that he should even think about going against a Yonko (whom he already has declared war against or is on their bad side).
That's exactly that: If he solo's Doffy on a first try, then we could hardly treat any other enemy then Yonkou, or Admirals seriously. And I personaly am in the camp saying that there won't be a fight between Luffy and Yonkou for quite some time. And even then, it most definetly won't be a solo fight.
@Sahar:
The same thing happend when Burgess was revealed, that it is way to early for Luffy to go up against Burgess or/and even stand a chance against him. I admit that a fight between SH and BB crews is way to early and is reserved for the future. But Luffy should at least stand his ground (my opinion)
Stand his ground? Yes. Win? No.
@Sahar:
But then Sabo showed up and suddenly everyone (more likely a lot) was under the impression that Sabo is able to go up against Burgess (which I don't doubt he is capable of) and Doffy alone. We haven't seen anything Sabo is capable of, just one or two moves (pretty neat though). For me it is the same as with Luffy, we haven't entirely seen what he can do and what not.
I'm not. Sabo should lose, if only for all the hype of Blackbeard pirates is not to go to waste. Come on, they are getting beaten up in almost every appearance since getting Ace defeated.
They lost to Magellan, Blackbeard lost one-on-one with almost dead Whitebeard, he was unable to defeat Sengoku, ran from Shanks, ran from Akainu (Which I loved, btw, but I still think it hurts their image), and almost all of his accomplishments are off-page. He needs something more. He needs to have some on-page succes, for me to be treating him seriously. And Burgess winning against Sabo is that succes.
@Sahar:
Why is it that Luffy is that underestimated? And Sabo overestimated?
Sabo is overestimated. I saw people saying that he is stronger than Admiral, for crying out loud.

@bouncyhippo:
we don't know anything! all we can do is predict and believe in our own accord. for me I think dofla is too powerful and the entire arc will be a failure to save dressrosa. Dofla's strings are overpowered, invisible and can cut through anything, one hit for Luffy and its over. There has been several comparisons between Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro how they are all similar in strength. So how well did Sanji go up against Dofla? He actually would have died right there if not for Law to save him. We see Dofla denying Akoji's request at Punk Hazard and broke out of his ice through sheer will, then he kicks Fujitora with no hesitation. And these are admirals and former admirals, and most likely Luffy is not at admiral level yet.
I still want him to be dealt with by Fujitora. Luffy should be instrumental though. Admirals should finaly do something good and beneficial to the populace.
