I disagree with this, Shanks scar is part of his Jolly Roger so that means Blackbeard gave Shanks that scar when he was still forming his crew.. And it was Megallen vs BB + his crew + that swordsman + level 6 prisoners I don't think anyone will stand a chance against this people, was never stated BB alone defeated Megallen.
Because it's not like shanks could've changed his Jolly Roger? And it could certainly never be an oversight that Oda didn't really realize, right?

I know, I know, they're not actual pirate crews, but the point is that since a flag tends to be based on the captain, the flag can change if the captain changes. If Luffy dropped his strawhat for a bowler hat, do you think he'd stick with his old flag?:wassat:

Ok… To be honest... This was probably changed for reasons OUTSIDE the series. (In fact, I thought I read that somewhere).
Though it symbolizes Buddhism, and not simply Nazism, many people around the entire world associate it with the latter; like a very large portion of the western world.

Needless to say I was rather upset by the way Oda treated Tashigi during this arc. However, that small interaction with Nami pretty much erased my anger by praising her that Tashigi is as admirable as Bellemere herself (one of the characters that made me love the series). Boy, it feels good that the lead female character did her justice after Luffy mocking her.
I sincerely hope that the last chapter and DD arrival could maker her stay in the story for a longer time. Hopefully, I hope she becomes the Vivi (there is a potential friendship with Nami) of the New World.

It's true that BB will get much stronger, but for winning or losing it depend on someone maximize his skill. and I doubt that BB will fully mastering his Gura2 (and upcoming Fruit).

Even before that Megallen beat all of the Blackbeard pirates (sans Shirlew of the Rain) by himself at their first encounter. It was only because Shirlew gave them the antidote that they were able to survive.
This along with everyone (Croc, Jinbe, Luffy, et all prisoners) running away from Megallen during the ID escape… he is a monster.
