Thinking about it, I don't think Kuma helped the crew because of Dragon.
I feel like he really grew to respect Zoro for what he did at Thriller Bark. Zoro was willing to give his life for Luffy.
Kuma seemed more of an honorable character, if anything.
But, hey it's just another way of looking at it, and it may as well be because of Dragon because of that line he said at the end, I think before he completely left Thriller Bark, it's the more obvious thing.

I'm pretty sure he and Zoro drink at every party they hold. The story just tends to focus on Luffy's tendency to eat whole feasts on his own.

Luffy isn't really shown drinking outside of new crew celebratory things or milestones iirc. He's more shown eating meat at parties. Zoro is their heavy drinker and even he doesn't get drunk.
I think the other time he's had like an alcoholic drink was during the Mock Town fight but he didn't get to drink it really. He got his head smashed in.

Nami can hold her own, as shown during Whiskey Peak, but that's not a main desire for her unless money is involved. Zoro is the drinker. Zoro out lasted the effect of the shot, but they were both roughly out the same amount of time. Alcohol directly in the blood dream is different than drinking it too.

Nah Nami embarrassed Zoro at Whiskey Peak. Zoro is the drinker of the crew but the heaviest drinker goes to Nami.

On Luffy drinking. Let me clairify. He rarely drinks but he is NOT an alcoholic.
The sake cup with Ace is the ONLY time when he was a kid. So he's not been drinking since he was a kid.
Now that he's a pirate there have been a few times we see him drinking, or at least having a cup, is when they celebrated new namaka (Usopp, Chopper, & Brook) joining or at a few feasts after the big battles, but not after all of them.

At several celebrations see see others drinking, but most of time we don't know whats in the cups. We assume its beer/sake/rum ect. I just checked the feast after the Eneis Lobby, Luffy was never shown having a cup. He did have a cup at the feast on FI. However that is only one cup, more focus is given to him eating meat. Its Zoro and Nami that are shown as big drinkers in that same chapter. Same page as Luffy its shown Nami outdrinking Prince Fukaboshi, and next page has Zoro drinking out of a bottle.

I thought that the difference was that Zoro had the higher tolerance (i.e. can take more alcohol at once without passing out) whereas Nami had a better clear rate (i.e. can drink more over a longer period of time as her body removes the alcohol from her bloodstream faster). It would explain why Zoro was the last to fall asleep (he could take more alcohol than Nami/Sanji) but Nami/Sanji was the first to wakeup (she recovered from it faster)

No idea. Not sure why it matters. I think they are equal in their tolerance. But I think Zoro is a more active drinker than her. She'll drink during parties but it's usually Zoro we see asking for booze in the first place or off drinking with whoever he saved/beat up when we get group party scenes.
That's what I mean when I say he's the drinker in he group.
