! Looking at the Spoilers Keisha again tried to retreat but i said it… finally Naki the exchange from Kankis Army had his moment and stopped Keisha from doing that.
! finally the fight... but i dont think keisha is going down quick. that would be silly. after that what shin was going through... an with his broken glaive he fights again since a long time with his sword. shin will not win in a few hits after he's already pretty exhausted. but he will not need to go all out on keisha. should be an easier win... -

Is the new chapter out then?
I've been waiting eagerly for it to come out, it's one of the few manga I'm regularly following.
-
So was that drawing on last page a fake spoiler? The paper looks suspicious.

That's from 472. It's not translated yet, but there's a Korean version of it here: http://www.mangamint.com/kingdom-472

! Damn, that was intense. Glad it didn't drag on.

! i think we can find us, that this was a fast and intensive fight from Keisha and Shin. Keisha had the weight of a General but at the end he was no real threat combat wise.
-
! What happened? One one page both are swinging swords at each other, but what's next is Keisha sliced and with his sword aside at weird angle. Did Shin break his arm or made him slip or something? Was he just too slow to react? I see no transitions nor sound sfxes that indicates what exactly happened.
-
472 was translated by a fan. Now we just need 473, wuuu 2 more weeks for that!
-
I found the transition of sentences to that "bad luck" a bit off.
-
Rinko was better than Keisha in every way
-
Kanki won. Just as planned…
-
He will probably tell Shin: "at least you followed this plan right"
-
The fights continue to be won by one side simply "being stronger" than the other, without much regard to doing anything special or tricky in the fight itself. Which is kinda lame, but I guess I can't complain too much, when there's still the entire battlefield strategy going on in order to get the enemy King in a position where it can be taken. So yeah, if you're not going to make the fight itself interesting, much better to cover it quickly without losing momentum.
-
I restarted the anime, and it's so exciting seen Shin go from the weakest 5-man Wu to 100 man commander, and now GENERAL LEE SHIN, GENERAL LEE SHIN.
-
It will be ever harder to portray Qin as the underdog or create tension, when their victories are so one-sided in the end.
"Here we have the new arc, where the good guys face that one enemy they already fought 4-5 times already and won every time, so lets get excited." Yes I know, its hard to argue against history, but still. -
Kanki is best general.

I'm currently catching up on Kingdom and right now i'm at the battle over Kankoku Pass and i just wanted to say … holy shit. This manga is awesome!!
I really regret not being interested in it before despite all the great stuff i heard about Kingdom. I never thought it would be that great after reading the synopsis ... but damn was i wrong. -
Kanki stuff.

I'm curious if we are going to see a real internal conflict.
-
Bihei should think twice about bringing that jewellery back to camp. Things could get ugly fast.
And while we probably now have some Shin vs Kanki drama; this is probably much closer to how the real life Qin army operated. Besides, the Zhao did the same in the manga when they came across Qin cities. So while from a modern point of view its something brutal and wrong, it shouldnt cause too much outrage back then to burn down some villages in the woods.I guess, the whole tactic is obviously meant to generate some overreaction from the Zhao commanders, who had vowed to protect the people from Kanki, but then strangely forgot completely that they are the ones who are fighting a defensive battle here. I dont know, why they are all so content with holding one of the hills. Kanki could just as well take the other ones or isolate the central hill and would still be in control of the whole region (which is just what he is demonstrating right now)
-
Some After-school Special peer pressure happening with Bihei.
Didn't expect the civilian destruction until after Qin won. Not much Team Shin can do but hope they do something. -
As Naki said, Bihei better rid of the bracelet or Kyoukai is gonna rip a new one on him.
-
Well, it looks like the Hi Shin Unit is going to confront Kanki soon.

I guess Kanki might overlook this when he hears that Shin slayed Kesha.
-
When the heck will Kanki die?
-
When the heck will Kanki die?
My guess is that Hara plans to have Shin kill Kanki. The reality is that he disappeared from history, so you can actually have Shin murder him and it become a major cover-up without any issue.
-
I thought he botched up a mission in history.
-
Well if we're following history
! Kanki ain't out of the picture for quite a few years. He and Yotanwa haven't even tag-teamed Zhao yet with Ousen.
-
The most obvious solution would be for Shin to slay Kisui or take the central hill quickly, so that Kanki can cancel the slaughter before everyone is dead. Don't think that would work for either side though.

Kanki stopping slaughter after a victory?!:ninja:
I think he had a tragic history(in this story)….
-
well the win of a battle is for him the real reason to start torturing people…
-
Very interesting, it seems Shin and Kanki will collide when the right time arises.

Raido with the "this is war" huh? You haven't even won yet. I remember Aohige criticizing Kanki's statement of I'll show you what real war is or whatever at the start of the arc. Hopefully Hara spends some time on this but not too much time.
-
Maron is awesome.
-
The question is, does Kanki already know that Shin has claimed the building blocks to the victory?
-
From the interactions, it doesn't seem so.
Might come up in the next chapter. Maybe Shin can mention it as he's leaving or something.
-
Completely forgot about this series, and caught up to the last 60 odd chapters. Had lost interest after the Fire Dragons of Wei arc because it looked like the series had lost ideas and was just recycling the same format for every arc, and though this one kind of does exactly the same it still manages to be really enjoyable. Kanki is (comfortably) the most villainous villain in the series.
Trying not to spoil, but looking at how many wars there are between now and the unification of China, and with every war arc just being the same thing, I can see this series getting REALLY boring eventually. Politics moments are cool, but he still has to mix something up with coming wars
-
Actually I really like Kanki in both character design as also just in general. Characters are to white blackish anyway… like he said he ll do anything to win moral codexes thrown aside and I must say that I hate the fact that Shin is even clashing with him...but its in his nature i guess.
I have wanted to fully see how Kanki will win this but instead we ll get shin clashing with him... which is normal but still hate that this is going in this direction... -
Kanki still doesn't know about Keisha right?

Chapter is out.
