BB's fruit sucks people and their power (darkness/yami), Miss Valetine's fruit allows her to alter her weight (kilo), Fujitora's fruit is an area-based gravity alteration fruit (gravity).

@The:
My only problem with Fujitora is that he doesn't look 3 meters tall.
Also, the most interesting part of the chapter is:
- How did Laws crew make that Map? Why is it so busted? Is that a bloody Bepo pawprint? What the hell happened to those guys?
I think that's ink, not blood. And it's busted because Beppo draw it with his "garras" (paws)
-
It's true though.
What do you base your claim on? Just curious
OT: Loved the chapter, especially the setting/theme of the next arc.
The gorosei reference was very nice, and ODa nailed the beards. Could this be the return of Mr. Prince?
Seems like Fujitora is indeed the blind swordsman, though I doubt that he has a gravity df. Wouldn't that be too similar to a trait of Blackbeard's df?
A pressure fruit on the other hand… -
This blind guy will save strawhats from admiral fujitoria!
-
lol at how they divided the teams. One would expect Robin to be on the team that searchs for the factory ^^. I guess Zoro will end up there by accident ^^.
So Oda wasnt showing us dressrossa ppl because there are living toys. I wonder if thats due to some kind of DF ability. Something similar to Morias. Best part of chapter is that fujitora is blind ^^.

Oda is a comedic fucking genius for this

LAWLS
Reminds me of the Gorousei.
-
I hope with all the powerhouse characters with Luffy (besides Law) means some of the other characters get some battle time besides the usual Monster trio + Franky.
-
@CCC:
This thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nue
Aohige told us about it last week.
A nue (鵺) is a legendary creature found in Japanese folklore. It is described as having the head of a monkey, the body of a raccoon dog, the legs of a tiger, and a snake as a tail.
Chopper is the new admiral :ninja:

We know Law's crew is currently in an island called "Zou".
And they just suck at drawing maps. They probably travelled through the entire country while Law was at PH.
-
Oh how much I love he beginning of a new arc.
New island with all the hilarity and unexplained stuffs that happen.
Is there a limit to Oda's imaginations and creativity? Also, all hail Admiral Fujitora-sama
It's still a trio. Sanji couldn't keep up.
don't post anything when you're high.
-
So blind justice it is. Excelent. I like it.

Meh. I agree with everything you said outside of the Franky portion. Both him and Brook are long overdue for exposure. Since his inception Franky's only had like what… 3 decent fights?
It is time for Franky to brillar!

thats true. thats why i think he is not gonna fight here. Oda rarely gives him fights and he just got one lol. i think Luffy Zoro and Sanji will end up fighting while Kinemon and Franky search for the factory and the samurai.
-
Awesome chapter, it would be great if the blind guy had some sort of Gravity Devil fruit and im sure he's using CoO haki. The chances are hes Fujitora but i wouldnt be surprised if he was someone completely different. The outfits were also hilarious.
-
It cool to see more parallels between this and the Baroque Works saga. In Alabasta, we had a powerful character appear in a bar in the beginning of the arc.

Yeah, right. Luffy has the "old kung fu master" beard.
I am really so psyched about the old man, maybe because Zatoichi is one of my favorite movie characters of all time -
This is the perfect guy for Zoro. They're both lucky even though they're both "blind". They're both swordsmen, both eye-scarred. I really wonder how he got his scar though… it seems like being made by one hit. I'll through this out there, I think his type of justice will be related to _luck_ in some way.
-

Gasp! You forgot to conjugate the verb!

Oh contrario~
This is the perfect time for Franky to get more shine! Especially seeing as how him and Baby 5/Buffalo have some unfinished business to take care of! -
Allternate theory of the fruit power having to do with balance (or weight of others, anyway). Blind justice is represented by lady justice, or a woman with a scale, which balances based off the truth or evidence.
They become heavy because there is more evidence for their crimes.
She also carries a sword.

I'm sure Franky will be laser beam spamming in this arc haha, but at least he has been getting some focus within the New World (along with the movie). The fact that in the last two chapters Franky been wanting to beam the factories down is sort of hinting that he's gonna do something.
-
This post is deleted!

And I already love this Fujitora.

Exactly! I love that Franky is becoming an actual essential part of the plot, rather than being left to play babysitter to the Sunny.
Franky is importante, si?~

there also that. i think he will end up blowing up the factory while the others fight. Radical Beam isnt practical in a big fight but is probably the most destructive attack to do that.

@Foxy:
Proof ?
Broke his leg fighting Vergo. Since the timeskip he's been nothing but a comic relief. He almost died from a bloody nose.
-
StrawHat Gourosei RPG/impression… nice

3/10 at least you tried.

what? broke his leg? lol that was a small crack. and you are talking about the same Vergo that trashed Smoker. i hope you are joking.

Didn't Sanji save Tashigi and was the liaison between him and the G5 Marines? How is that not an important role?
Jack, you underestimate Sanji, vergüenza~!
-
lol, people thinking Franky is stronger than Sanji.
-

To be fair, Franky made TWO Donquixote officers eat dirt single handed, that kinda makes up for everything.
He's as SUUUUUUPER as ever! -
Luffy looks like Muten Roshi.
-
So blind justice it is. Excelent. I like it.
You got the BLINDfold, SWORD and Scales (for WEIGHT) I.e our Blind Swordsman
-
Its always bothered me that Mihawk is considered the strongest swordsman in the world. I think its the fact that he's a schichibukai. His title of "strongest swordsman" presumes hes one of the strongest guys in the OP world. Arguably on par with-or close to the yonkou's strength. And he's the WG's bitch?
And then we have cases like this: If Fujitora really is an admiral and it looks like hes a swordsman….technically that means Mihawk is stronger than him.
Rayleigh also is a swords man. I find it hard to accept that Mihawk is stronger than Roger's former first mate.
As far as this manga goes: I think that's one mistake Oda made thats longstanding and directly unbalances the power scale. Just my opinion anyway
-

He's as SUUUUUUPER as ever!Oh Trust me my Blue Hermanos~, Franky is indeed SUUUUUUPER!! Which is why I want to see him in the spot light more! I want there to be fanboys running all over the place screaming his name!
-

Don't forget that if not for Sanji Kinemon would still be a head inside a cell, if alive at all. He made a big difference in Punk Hazard.

Nice argument right there.
I would like to see a DF that works by judging people.

Doubt that the gravity was created only with swordsmanship which would mean that his main fighting style is hid DF and that he uses the sword as an extension, so to speak, similar to Law, which would remove him from the "pure" swordsman list.
-
Only one chapter, and this arc already looks epic. I'm really loving it!
-
Nice chapter, this guys reminds me of "Blind fury" also I've read some people saying that he may have that rope in order to hide his marine clothe but he's an admiral everybody should know them and they guy doesn't even have pants on.
!
it seems like there are more people who can control gravity in OP but do you guys think is a technique with the sword just like fire or thunder swords or is a DF.PS:this guy is definitely a badass and probably investigating about DD and his sudden change
-
Really love how Oda incorporate spanish culture in Dressrosa (ex. the Flamenco dance). And that blind swordsman, his face is drawn very detailed! If he's actually Fujitora (most likely), I really want to know which real life japanese actor that Oda based his entire appearance from?
-

i hope we get more backstory for Mihawk at some point explaining his reasons.

What's the deal with Momo? What has the pink done to him? Is he able to control him?
So many preguntas~

All the pirates of the world would be fucked if the WG had such a fruit.
-
@Foxy:
lol, people thinking Franky is stronger than Sanji.
I would think its more that people believe the gap between those 2 isn't as big as it looked during the first half, not that he's stronger.
-

The WG themselves aren't any cleaner. Such a fruit would surely cause some friendly fire daño~.
-

Franky first gotta learn whats that Haki thing before he thinks on closing the gap to the monster Trio.

This question is going to be repeated in every page, a mod should just put the answer on the first page. lol
He's based on Katsu Shintaro, who played Zatoichi in over 20 films.
Zatoichi is a blind swordsman with a cane-katana and gambling habit.
