That timeline of Z's life was from Volume Z which was written by Oda I believe, so it can be treated as fact
Yeah, i think it is the same as Volume 0 about Roger´s era which was also canon

What if this guy is really the Admiral, and Luffy ask him to join the crew? I don't know what will happen afterward, but it will be fucking awesome.
Why does everyone think we will just get 11 one-on-one fights?
lol do you guys really think Oda is that predictable?

because that's pretty much what one piece has been from the start. except for paramount saga

The fuck are you talking about?
Look at the matchups in the Alabasta arc or Enies Lobby arc to see what I mean.
First of all, he would get roasted by the planet's core. It would also be risky to travel like that, considering that 80% of the OP world consists of water. He could accidentally end up in the ocean's depth.
Subordinate of Kaido is unlikely, as his last line in the chapter implies that he looks down on criminals. 7th Shichibukai is also unlikely. The guy in question begged Z for his life and chopped off his arm after being spared, while the blind man seems to value honesty.
This is One Piece, an anime and manga, not real life.
A person has made "doors" in people. A person has cracked the air. A person has reanimated the dead with shadows. So your first point, about him "burning up", really isn't…solid. Heck... The core of the One Piece world may be completely different from the core of the Earth.
And also. Kuma sent the Strawhat's flying far with his power, each of them landing safely on an island (from what I remember). So despite the world being 80% of the world being water, it's not impossible whatsoever to travel from landmass to landmass by "extreme means".
Luffy vs Doflamingo

Sanji vs Trebol
Law vs Spades
Usopp vs Steampunk Guy
Nami & Momo vs Old Lady
Franky vs Swimsuit Guy
Kinemon vs Buffalo
Robin vs Little Girl
Brooke vs Old Man
Kinemon vs Baby 5
Though is just a rough idea.

Pretty much agree with this, especially Chopper disguised as Kinemon
Haha sorry about that….. I meant chopper vs Buffalo :P
But Kinemon is a samurai and a pervert, so I doubt that he would hurt a woman.
@Стрелок:

It's just a rough list anyways. I thought I would Kinemon in an awkward fight, don't if he can hold back against a woman or not.
@Foxy:
Why does everyone think we will just get 11 one-on-one fights?
Because lack of ability to see patterns built up over 15 years + fantasy football-esque enthusiasm.
There will always be some members left out of the major battles, and it's very rarely the case that 1 on 1 matches remain 1 on 1, and that everyone sticks with the opponent they start with.
Luffy vs DD

Sanji vs Trebol
Law vs Spades

Chopper vs little girl

Robin vs old lady
Brook/Kinemon vs Buffalo

These are the match ups i wanna see, though i doubt that we will see so many 1vs1 fights, the arc will probably be too chaotic.
My match ups are:
Luffy vs Doflamingo
Zoro vs Spades
Sanji vs Diamante
Kinemo vs Trebol
Franky vs Steampunk Guy
Usopp vs Little Girl
Chopper vs Buffalo
Nami vs Baby 5
Robin vs Old Lady
Brook vs Swimsuit Guy
Law half dead and get rescued by Luffy just like Smoker got rescued by Aokiji…
I would guess Diamante will be Luffy's opponent, seeing how he was given the fruit to keep (like a genius). But, I guess, it will depends on how everything is set up by that time.
I don't think Kinemon will even fight.
If he does, he will probably play Worf so somebody else can finish the fight for him. Rescuing Kanjuro seems to be his main role in this arc.
If this is indeed a showdown arc I could imagine something like this:
Doflamingo vs. Law
Maybe not an all out fight, but at least a serious clash. There is so much buildup between the two, and I can't see Oda wasting the delicious tension.
Zoro, Sanji, Franky vs. the Seats.
The top guys battles. If they fight in this arc it will a typical one on one, "personal growth" style encounter. Assuming that the seats are around Vergo, of course.
Robin vs. Trebol
She did absolutely nothing during Punk Hazard, so I could actually see her getting a formidable opponent. Trebol fits the "disgusting male" theme, which is her speciality anyway (Yama, Spandam, Absalom (+various zombies), Hammond).
Usopp vs. Cybersabo
I just want to see an epic sniper battle on the rooftops of Spain, that's all really.
Nami, Chopper, Brook
I doubt they will be heavily involved. Law gave Nami the Vivre card if the plan goes wrong, and of course it will. Maybe they join later with Bepo & co as reinforcements. It would be acceptable, after all they had a lot of paneltime during PH to make up for it.
Kinemon
Just as KC said, he will probably split from the crew due to Kanjuro business.
Now I don't know how Luffy would fit into all of this. He could be the one who takes care of Doflamingo after Law fails miserably, but on the other hand we have an Admiral ready to mess up everyone. Chances are that we don't even get one serious fight because Fujitora crashes the party (Saobody style). Luffy is strong, but at this point I could only see him stall an Admiral for a good while. Unless he is coated with a thick plotarmor, of course.
Now that I think about it, the Hancock's owners weren't really smart when they gave her the ability to petrify people. I wonder waht kind of amusement they derived from that? And does the lack of fear of the fruit affecting them stem from something about them or the simple fact that they can't find slaves to be attractive?
I wonder waht kind of amusement they derived from that?
Maybe they made her use against other slaves?
Maybe they made her use against other slaves?
Couldn't she have just used it on her owners? She has the most hax Devil Fruit in the world. Even Momonga had to do something drastic to prevent it from affecting him.
Maybe they didn't know what sort of fruit it was. And probably celestial dragons are disgusted by regular people, so this is why it didn't affect them.

Touché .

She probably had one of those exploding collars. Mari and Sonia too. She would've risked her and her sisters' lives.

Hmm but don't they buy slaves for pleasure to. I remember the son(can't remember his name) wanting that nurse chick because he thought she was hot, so physical attraction at least works for them.

Maybe, but it's not love.
Overall: Great chapter to get Dressrosa started. It seems Dolflamingo runs one of the most interesting islands in the New World and I'm sure he's got a horde of henchmen to take on the Straw Hats/Heart Pirates alliance. I'd like to see more of the toys concept and I'd really like to see where they go with Fujitora.
And for fun, here's my predictions for the Straw Hats/Heart Pirates Vs. Dolflamingo Pirates fights:
@Стрелок:
Maybe, but it's not love.
Hancock's fruit is about using people's lust against themselves. I know it's called the Love-Love Fruit, but they don't have to love Hancock beforehand.
@Foxy:
You need to read again.
Usopp fought Bon Clay and lost, then Sanji took over.
Usopp and Chopper VS Mr. 4, Miss Merry Christmas and Lasoo
Robin and Usopp didn't even get a proper fight in Enies Lobby.
See? Not everyone has a one-on-one fight.
Yeah your right, it's not always one-on-one, what I mean is that they always fight opponents in rang according to their level of strength, which means Luffy always pick the boss, and zoro picks the vice boss, and so on, sometimes it's cooperation but that's pretty much the base.
and just for that:
Luffy, Law & Blind Man VS Doflamingo
Kin'emon VS Diamante
Zoro & Sanji VS Trébol (Hilarious "teamwork" here)
Franky VS Buffalo & Baby 5 (Rematch)
Usopp, Chopper & Brook VS Picas (Spades)
Robin & Nami VS Those old guys at the pool
As Foxy suggested, it could be CoC.
tiene sentido?
or it is the sword that has the ability! he didn't have to draw it if that ability is in his body, he could've just lifted a finger or his hand to do it. It wouldn't be very wise to appoint an admiral who's blind and can't swim, that would be disastrous.
Law really misses his crew man, the paper is torn on the map and he fixed it with sellotape. And by the way when Dress Rosa's beautiful field of flowers is shown there was one lonesome tree looking kinda like the Adam Wood tree…. But I can't recall if i saw the Adam Wood tree in the anime only.
What kills\causes pain to these toys? Pretty nonchalant about getting your arm ripped off and bleeding out your insides arent ya buddy.

Yeah, you only have to lust for her. It's not really even called "the Love-Love fruit". The wiki says: "Mero mero" is an onomatopoeia of "to fall down drunk", including being overcome with emotion such as love or lust.
Okay, so we can assume they gave her an unknown DF.
@Стрелок:

That would've been kinda risky, wouldn't it? I assume they knew what it was. Like I said:

Yes, but even if they had those they would still risk being turned into stone if they are not careful or too slow.
And maybe they like a bit of risk in their lives.
Damn you. Destroying hopes and stuff.
But hey, Akainu "won't let him get his way" (whatever that means). He (Fujitora) could very well manhandle Law for a bit to show his Admiral-superiority!Talking about Akainu, I actually wonder why he bothers with the rookie alliance in the first place. Doflamingo is an official ex-Shichibukai, runs an underground business and directly supplies one of the Yonkou with devil fruits. Sure the Straw Hats are something, but I think he should get his priorities straight.
The priority is Doflamingo!
Sakazuki mobilized Fugitora to Dressrosa to handle the Doflamingo situation.
(I don't like using Sakazuki..) Akainu said they'll give the Alliance another day before he takes action against them.
My guess is, Akainu sent Fugitora to take care of Doflamingo. Fugitora is just assessing the situation, as in he knows Doflamingo quit and had to resign as king. Maybe he's waiting to see why there is no chaos, maybe he's waiting for Doflamingo and crew to leave so he can make a move.
But anyway, we'll see… Fugitora is handling the situation his way, so we'll have to wait and see.
@Стрелок:
Yes, but even if they had those they would still risk being turned into stone if they are not careful or too slow.

Slaves who have Devil Fruit powers probably have seastone in their collars.
@LUFFYSMC:
That is a good question, actually that's gone unnoticed. Would Smoker's report not highlight DD being the bigger problem? Therefore wouldn't Akainu want to take the former Shichibukai down 1st? So if he sent 'an admiral, or near admiral' primarily just for Law + Luffy's alliance; would he assume that 1 Admiral could handle both them, and DD, if necessary? in the same time period?… All this from the same people DD is less concerned with than Kaidou?…
Didn't Law tell Smoker not to mention DD (or him for that matter) in his report? The Marine HQ is probably completely blind to what is really going on, which is why they sent Fujitora to scout it out first.
All this chapter made me want is a 4 way manwich swordfight between Mihawk, Zoro, Shiryu and Semi-mysteryman.
Vista can be referee…..
@Foxy:
Slaves who have Devil Fruit powers probably have seastone in their collars.
True, but I assume they didn't have them on all the time, otherwise there'd be no point in feeding slaves DFs for amusement.

Yes, that´s what i think. The WG/Marines are in the dark concerning DD´s sudden withdrawal from the Shichibukai while the alliance between Luffy and Law can only mean that they are planning something.

So basically Luffy's conversation with Fujitora will continue and he'll spill the beans.
