So to be, uh, "on topic", this week's Bleach is particularly dreadful. Really there could've been a panel with nothing but text (not an uncommon thing) saying "Yeah this entire arc was a waste of time, sorry".
I somewhat fear this will return Bleach higher in the weekly polls but then I also remember Bleach's rank was slowly slipping somewhat during the whole Aizen fiasco as well. So the damage may have well been done.
Even though I joke about wanting Bleach to end and even make rants about how terrible it is, I'm kind of at the point where I don't care anymore. Though I at least want to see how Naruto ends, as bad as the series is and likely will continue to be.

To my knowledge, the ONLY series that can compete with One Piece in terms of sheer popularity is Dragonball, and that's because Dragonball is the only series with such a significant international fanbase that it will actually make a difference.

Bleach became so convoluted I couldn't follow it after the Rukia kidnap stuff. It just became big flashy double page spreads of Battles and lots of Spanish terms.
Even if I wanted to get back into it right now I probably couldn't.
