Not really. They'd still be a horde of nameless goons, and by One Piece standards, just excersise for whoever butchers them.

Well I haven't seen any example for a ranged slash cutting a steel. But anyway Zoro, the way he is now should be able to send slashes that cut people in half and continues to it's way.

Which does make it a little puzzling how Daz Bones wasn't cut up by Mihawk's slash, as I would like to think that even low-end stuff from Mihawk surpasses Lucci's cutting power… but I suppose not (or is it a "a truly great swordsman only cuts what he means to cut" type of deal? Like he was aiming to cut rubber, not steel?). Zoro should easily be able to do it by now at range, of course. We already saw him cutting Neptune's steel chains casually.
It was a slash aimed for flesh, not steel. As you said with the "swordsman only cuts what he means to cut" thing, that's what it was. Since Mihawk is a master swordsman, he chooses each swing carefully. When Zoro got Shuusui and tried it out using 108 Lb Cannon, it caused unnecessary damage to the building that it hit. He remarked how that was proof that he had yet to master that sword.
Now, as for the 50,000 taking ES pills, that's nothing to worry about. At this point, they're all there as Straw Hat punching bags.

Yes he was injured but since we're talking about chopping in half… We should count in Haki too in that case. Still it should have chop him in half if Lucci's have done it.
Zoro can cut people in half this is just a manga a One Piece manga and if everyone got caught in half all the time, all the fun would be sucked right out of the story. And Daz Bones cut an entire building behind zoro in nice hungreds of cubed smaller pieces but zoro only got cut and didn't suffer the same fate as the poor building

Twas a joke, the original Colorspread of the post TS crew was cut off perfectly so you could only see two of Zoros sheeths and one of the arms of his robe was hanging limply like there was no arm inside it. It was quite a dark time haha

I remember in that spoiler thread there was at least one guy who was insulting people who didn't believe in the one armed Zoro in the same way that pro time skip people had thrown insults.
