Oh I'm not so sure about that. Sometimes when the prices are already that low ($37 for a 20+cm figure), the only way prices CAN go is up. Then again I may be wrong. But you don't see SDX Ace going for $50 anymore, I got him for that amount. More worried about the availability of the figure though. At least for Banpresto, price really isn't that big of an issue.
EDIT: Even for how unpopular toyslogic is, I was still very surprised after seeing the stock availability for Robin Strong Edition there… Why are they so unpopular though?

When you compare the two pictures, the official one looks like his face is melting. XD If you got him, you can just pretend that he's constantly using his magma powers.

seriously, after realising I missed preorders on akainu I was kinda mad … BUT .. seeing pics of his face again makes me feel a bit better. I mean come on .. that's like megahouse is laughing right in our faces for buying everything they release no matter how it looks. nope .. I'm probably not gonna buy him. not as long as it's revealed that he's got an alternitive face. tsss~ so I only have 2 admirals then? fine! that gives me more money for hot toys x-men once they announce them! take that megahouse! lousy job. shame on you.

Doubt they will correct it, again I still like him a lot, his face is somewhat off but I do nt mind.
Not because Megahouse made it but because he actually has that droopy eyes, his mouth does seem off. -
if he's popular enough they can resell him with a better sculpt like they did with Ace.

Absolutely true, both being one of my favorite characters in One Piece it's obviously a bit sad other figures get great sculpts but have far less fans, like Marco or Rayleigh.
Maby MegaHouse's way to stop the insane pre-selling situations is bringing out shittier sculpts XD. But the funny thing is, their paintjobs are still rather good/excellent. Many other producers like Banpresto have great sculpts but shitty paintjobs or shitty use of coloured PVC. The things we have to live with :O.

The only reason there is insane pre-selling is due to them limiting them. They should stop the limiting of the figures and just learn from their mistakes from which figures to release.
Took some more pics of Robin. I really need a Chopper. Anyone know any decent Chopper figures that look good and are bigger than his POP?

Speaking of admirals, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's being a bit paranoid here, but it hasn''t been shown that Kizaru can use his Pike Pike no mi fruit power in his POP sculpt right? Prototype shows him talking to the denden mushi, which is odd because given how Aokiji turned out (first release after encounter with Robin, second release marineford) and this one (shaboady pose), I wonder if he will get a second figure showing him using his devil fruit powers (marineford)… Another reason by Megahouse to release the same character with a different sculpt perhaps? I dunno...

I'm still want that Akainu. The POP Admiral that i dont' like its Aokiji, so i'm gonna pass that figure. i think Akainu-Garp-Kizaru team looks better together. I think there going to be another version of aokiji, now with his jacket hanging on his arm..

Aw man, she was up for preorder last night! You should have mentioned this earlier; I was on mIRC the entire night, and I could have tried to get her for you on one of the big 3 sites. :sad:
She still hasn't gone up on Play-Asia yet, so you might have a chance there. There's also ibuyxyz.com, but you have to pay for her in advance. Other than that, you'll have to wait until the end of November to see if you can get her then.

Ew toyslogic pass. They suck. take forever to release stuff and then when they ship it to me, they ship it to me through UPS I end up paying more damn money on top of the money I've already spent AND THEN the boxes are smashed to all hell (Robin/Nami dx heroine SW figures). Toyslogic, ew rot in hell, lol. Thanks for the info though keith.

You should join mIRC. We get notifications for new One Piece merchandise. It's VERY helpful during preorder night. We all help each other out there. You'll also know if/when Play-Asia gets her for preorder. This is just a suggestion, though. If I find out that she's up at Play-Asia, I'll let you know, okay?

It's a custom resin Robin. I actually did a video but it was removed. (I'll do another one today) It's really really nice. She's about twice the size of the SW Robin POP (including her base) and considering the price (£110 inc postage. Still less than what I paid for Perona) she really puts the POPs to shame. My only problem is her face. And that's because they modelled her off UPS' Robin. Still amazing tho. The rest of her sculpt is amazing. Certainly well worth the money.
And whether it's a bonus or not. She can be displayed starkers. And it's still highly detailed.

Face is important but I find the overall quality of a figure to be important too. The face on Robin isn't THAT bad. It's just a lil different due to the source material they worked from. And it's only really the mouth. Eyes, hair, nose are all Robin. Like how different people draw chars different. It's not nearly as bad as Akainu or some of the Luffys. And it's far cry from most of the others by actually getting her colours correct instead of anime. But meh. I think the whole of the figure is important. You could have a great face on a poor sculpt. I can sit here and know it's Robin and not mistake her with Hancock or whoever. And the face suits the rest of the body. Quality wise this just kicks Megahouse in the crotch and walks on. Really makes me realise how cheap their stuff looks in comparison :/

Except we're perfectionist, there's no reason to buy every released POP figures. But for Akainu case, I'll buy him to complete The Admirals. :) -

In any case, maybe that's what Megahouse was counting on. For people to complete the admiral lineup so they didn't bother too much about quality control this time around. But too be fair, I think the face is getting more flak than it deserves. It's only because of our high expectations of Megahouse and the character itself that we're complaining like that.

So it should be pretty cheap when it hits the game centers. I'm thinking less than ¥2000 or about the same price as the Naruto one.

There are two. A regular one and a alt coloured one for Gigant Battle. Pretty crappy exclusive giving something that's been out for a few months in (presumably) a wrong colour. Coulda at least gave us a Master Stars Pre-TS Luffy exclusive.

yes. There will be a limited colored version of MSP Luffy just for the game release.
