How can you say that? The rubberband was the ultimate Usopp attack. The dozen´s of Usopp Hammers against Chuu wouldn´t have had any effects without it, not to mention that is was the only move to ever petrify a merman (Hachi). :laugh:
Other than that I don´t think that we will see too much of all the dials in this arc. He has a bag full of them which should be enough for the entire rest of the manga actually.

eletric dial = car batery ^^ but since skypeans used a light dial to store light and not light bulbs i don't think we'll see one. also since it would be extremelly usefull against Enel. but it would be fun, specially a temperamental dial that discharged little charges randomly.

I can imagine even the infamous "rubberband dial" (lol) since we could have a dial producing unlimited ammount of a rubber-like goo

Also another with rubber would have surely beeen destroyed. As for something like rubber, a gooy like thing or whatever, that would be awsome. Also would be cool if he used the dials that the god officers used. Eg. string, iron/barbed wire, swamp etc.

Now they have the potential to become stronger without losing face to a Devil Fruit. If you think about it, what's so awesome about a crew with more then 5 DF users? Chopper, Robin and Luffy are enough. Nami and Soge King need to become strong in different ways

hmm theories on dials Soge King has? He's got all the known ones for sure, Flash dial, Axe dial, Breeze dial (the one that stores wind and gas), Heat dial, impact dial

hmmm It's unlikely Soge King has a Jet Dial since Gedatsu had the only one and he fell off sky island with that dial. What were on his shoes? cloud dial? but I think i saw in the anime/manga cloud dials don't work in the Blue Seas. The chances of a reject dial are higher since Waipa had one and since he messed up his arm he could have passed it onto Usopp?

Refresh my memory but I do believe I read in the manga that the Reject dial had only three uses? and I recall Waipa used up all three if there was a three shot limit. One for Shuya, one for Eneru and one for the big bean stalk. Or maybe it was three uses for Waipa at the expense of his arm? If so Soge King better find a way around that since his arm isn't nearly as strong as Waipa's xD

other dials we haven't seen before? an electric dial seems appealing since dials can store wind and heat why not electricity? I forgot there was also a voice dial Soge King would have fun with those xD! Rope dials maybe? have something like Bat Man's batmerangs that tie people up? (is that what they are xD) Explosion dial seems possible. A dial that stores random things like needles, shurikens bombs and such and when stepped on will explode showering the unfortunate victum with pain xD

oh if only those cloud dials worked in the Blue Seas then we'd have a flying Soge King xD!!! Maybe Breeze dials work like that too?! we can only hope xD!

But, with that being said, a DF ability is still > martial arts. It doesn't matter how many technqiues they have if go up against a logia user, they are owned, plain and simple. So Crocodile, Ace, Smoker, Aikoji, etc, could own the entire CP9 at once.

I will disagree on this, cause, Luffy didn't have a chance against Crocodile too, dependin on his powers. He needed to use a water barrel or his own blood, in order to make Croc vulnerable. I believe, Lucci is possibly the strongest big boss we've seen so far in action. Cause, for instance, if Smoker or Ace are under some special circumastances and they can't use their DF abilities, they're fucked. Lucci, on the other hand, he's powerful, even without usin his DF ability, dependin on his martial arts. And, to be honest, I believe that a Leopard Lucci in Tekkai, can take a buttload of Ener's big lightning attacks (El thor and stuff) and still stand like nothin happened. I can't be totally sure though, pal, it's just guesses here. :rolleyes:

I re-read Drum and see Chopper in a new light. I've always avoided his character, finding him to be the weak link, but now I'd like to see more of him. Mainly him going apeshit on people like when he mauled Hiruluk.

Chopper doesn't give himself nearly enough credit. He's an extremely capable fighter, he just lacks confidence & at the worst of times, courage. I'd really like to see him get the chance to cut loose solo against one of the lower-tier CP9 members (Fukuro?).

Hey I like that 8.000 followers voice dial idea. This would be great. Especially if Fukuro would be his opponent. Then he would spread the word as he always does not knowing that he would be deceived.

And just another reason why I think Usopp vs Fukuro will be the match up. Not only is this liar vs guy who can´t keep secrets as I already mentioned, but it would also be secret identity vs guy who can´t keep secrets. They just have to fight each other.

Despite the fact that SogeKing is lined up with Fukurou (in the spread), and that both have quirks (a liar and a blabber), I'm still rooting for a fight with Kaku. I dunno why, but a Longnose duel have been stuck to my mind since chapter… 350+ or something.

Purely personal opinion. Unfortunately, none of the set-up is 100% certain. Take a look at Luffy vs Blueno.

The Luffy vs. Blueno fight is nothing that I would have predicted at any point but now that it happened it actually is actually very good and logic because of two possible scenerios:

1. As most of us guess he will not get defeated but send Luffy to another place.

2. If Luffy really defeats him then even that serves a purpose because in the 8 vs. 8 he is the only one I see to go against Robin. And if he is taken down, then there we would have the reason for everyone else´s theory why Robin wouldn´t have an opponent in this one.

like evening the odds against the CP9 and SH? But back tracking to what some one brought up many pages ago, Blueno symbolizes Robin's chains and what not? Something like that. If that theory holds true wouldn't it make more sense for Luffy the Captain, the one who's trying to save Robin be the one to defeat her opressor (Blueno)

I wouldn't want the fight with Blueno to end with Luffy being trapped somewhere while Lucci was out ready to rape the other SH xD

I still find the mugiwara vs cp9 color spread as the most likely match up,
except they misplaced chopper and franky (chopper supposed to be to the right of nami and franky, between soge and zorro…
so the match up would be like this:
robin V blueno (most likely lucci will show up and blueno will return to guard the prisoner)
sogeV fuku (would be awesome lol. will became a shouting and boasting match. fuku will underestimate soge greatly as his power is probably below spandam :D, but that big mouth is surprisingly a nice target for some tabasco shot eh :D)
franky vs spandam ( don't underestimate panda, he has 2 df in his hand. most likely franky will get owned greatly after he eat the df…)
zorro vs kaku ( 2nd strongest vs 2nd strongest.... and they have an unfinished fight from merry's dock)
luffy vs lucci (obvius. the captain always get what he wants. he wants a roasted pigeon this time, so be it. )
nami vs khalifa?(suddenly cannot remember her name) (catfight :))
sanji vs jabu (from his tao pai2 looks, its only natural for him to be a martial arts master )

after thinking for quite some time (yes.. I'm such a slow thinking person ^^;) finally I came up with a reason why Robin will fight in current arc, or at least I hope she will fight in this arc >_< the reason is because….. I want to see her fight for sometime XD .... just kidding.

okay, I analysed the situation between Nami's arc, Vivi's arc and current arc. let's see if I can make this short essay understandable.

Nami's situation is more or less like this: Nami wanted to save her village, thus she fought alone to collect money. she didn't want to involved her friends, so she act like she had betrayed them. but it turned out that the promise was broken. she couldn't bear the heavy duty any longer, therefore she asked for her friend's help. and at the end Nami didn't fight in the arc.

Vivi's situation is more or less like this: Vivi want to resolved the rebellion that was going on at her country, thus she started her journey. she tried to resolved it by diplomatic way, but that way wasn't possible. and she felt all alone (Igaram's incident at whiskey peak). after that she still tried her diplomatic way, but at the end it was failed. when she felt like there's no hope, she asked Strawhats to helped her. and at the end Vivi didn't have a big fight in the arc.

Now, Robin's situation is a little different from previous female arcs. this is what I can see: Robin was already being chased after for 20 years. she never had any friends. but this time the Strawhats has become her friends and this newly found friends would be targeted, if she didn't want to obbey the govt. that's why she act as if she had betrayed them in order to shoo them from the island safely. but it turned out that the Strawhats didn't want to do that, instead they chased her. and now, after the promised made by Robin was broken, the Strawhats lives are once again in danger. I think Robin will have this 'responsible' feeling because it was her who unintentionally dragged all the Strawhats into this big danger. that's why I don't think she will just sit at the back and watched her friends fight for her. instead, I think, she will try to fight all her might to at least save her friends.

well... that's my reason. but as we already see, the Blueno vs Luffy already happened, thus there's only 8 vs 7 left. I don't know what will happen next, guess I just can hope, and at the end I'll just wait and enjoy every chapter oda's made

You seem to be under the missapprehension that now new opponents could appear. At any time a new enemy could spring from the woodwork, never forget that (remembers Gin suddenly turning out super strong in Kreig arc)

The fact that Kaku's fruit was a banana might be a subtle hint that he'll have a monkey fruit... maybe it'll just be random xD! I think Kalifa will have a fruit that will have a weakness to Nami's Perfect Tact. Like Miss Double Finger had spikes to act as a thunder rod.... I don't think Oda will be repetitive and have another thunder rod expose Kalifa's weakness.... But nothing else come to mind.... Do you think Nami can make it storm hail? That would be cool xD!

I'm still against Blueno being in the final standings.... I want him to be eliminated so Robin and Franky can double team and pwn Spandam xD Both of them have very good Reasons for some spandam smack down xD! I just hope Luffy doesn't get so messed up that he is really injured just before facing Lucci xD
