The reason an all out brawn in this scenario is not suitable is because, we have all the main characters here.
In Sky Piea, the animals had no character development, neither did Waipa or Gon FOuru or Ohm, It was only Zoro that the fight was focused a lot on and it made sense.
In a battle where all the main fighters are present, a brawl would make less sense. Which is why i said i dont want one person to over-shadow another.
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...
Strawhats vs CP9 (who will fight?)

Hmm, never heard about that one. Where was that said?
I remember it in an Oda interview somewhere, he said something like "a character is going to be killed in this arc, but fans won't be too sad because a character from Alabasta will return". I assumed it was referring to Mr. 2 in the mini story. But who knows.

Yeah, I think we all agree that Mr2 is one of the charaters from Alabasta, and Going Merry is dead (going to die), probably.

Did he really say killed? I thought he said left? Oh well, I'm probably wrong.

Well, you never know, Oda has definatly been one to throw wildcards at us. This, of course, throws a bajillion "what if" questions into the air (none holding more weight than the other), so i will take this opportunity to say:
"What if the character from Alabasta is a boat/vessle for carrying them?" (since, that would correspond to Oda's statement about the fans not being to sad, because they'll have a replacement of some sort) or "What if Ussop leaves to crew to go to Elubaba" (since now he has the means to, and well, he and the StrawHat crew haven't totally made up yet). But seriously, until the arc is over, I'm still not 100% sure the dead/left crew member is going to be the Going Merry. It probably is, but I'm not quite ready to bet my britches on it.

I, to remember to have heard he said left. I was told something like: "Next year somebody will leave the crew and a character from this arc (Alabasta) will return". Therefore I always thought he meant Ussop and Robin. I have never seen the original so I wouldn't bet on it.
