Is there a name for the theme that plays when Luffy is giving Doflamingo the final blow?
The Final Battle - Gigant Thor Axe. It's from the Strong World OST.

Thanks a bunch!

What's the proper name for the first song in this video?
I know it's an instrumental of We Are, but it's so triumphant that I want to listen to it on its own. It also played when Brook joins the crew at the end of the Thriller Bark arc.
-
It's
28th and last track from Movie 4.

Thanks a lot! Wouldn't have expected that I'd need to look for a movie's soundtrack.

Thanks a lot! Wouldn't have expected that I'd need to look for a movie's soundtrack.
The series has mostly used the film OSTs as "new" songs for the anime since the beginning, barring a few exceptions. The influx of new tracks after the timeskip are the exception, and that's because they presumably couldn't use any of Film Z's music in the anime because of licensing.
-
Is anyone working on, or know any sources that have a more complete accreditation for every individual track of all the OSTs?
Movie 10's says "Kohei Tanaka and Shiro Hamaguchi" are the composer for every single track: http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Movie_10_OST
I think that's a pure generalization, for Movie 10? Maybe nobody has gotten around to it?But if you look at Music & Song Collection 1, there are footnotes.
And, on that note, the wikia doesn't have any contribution towards Music & Song Collection 2, 3, or 4.
I'm interested in all of that, because I'm finally getting around to make a .CUE file for my seamless mega mix of One Piece's music found here:
And I'd like to know as much of all of the accurate information as possible, for it to be listened to on a music-player with everything correct/convenient.(Also, I have to randomly give props to Kohei Tanaka for doing the entire Movie 7 soundtrack. That's a big feat to do all on your own, for such a good soundtrack.
I hope people can enjoy that YouTube, if they've never seen it before. [It sounds way better when downloaded. But you know the drill by now, if you've lived on this planet! Do whatever you'd like.]
Sadly I didn't include many Movie 7 tracks in the above YouTube video, because of self-limitation of time-constraints. It's one of the only major errors I could fix one day.
I actually did create a miniature compo of purely Movie 7 tracks. It's… somewhere on my computer. Why I didn't just include that, I don't know.)EDIT: I found this gem of a post, lol http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=17228
EDIT2: Well I'll be damned. He didn't do all of Movie 7.
EDIT3: How did I go 11 years without knowing this basic information…
EDIT4: I have to say, a lot of my favorite tracks are by Shiro Hamaguchi, not Kohei Tanaka. The Fight Continues from M&SC2, part 2, a really good one, is KT thankfully.
Shiro's been stealing my past decade away. I need to go re-evaluate a lot of things. -
Are any of the New World OST tracks fully orchestrated? A lot of them sound like midi, but some, particularly string heavy songs sound convincingly real. I'm lost in the uncanny valley.

Thanks a lot. That was very very useful. I think some information conflicted with that 2008 forum post in my previous message. But I just went with whatever was on that document.
Here is the final product for my 1hr 42min Nonstop Megamix (for One Piece), split into individual, seamless tracks, in the highest quality, (97% accurate artists/title names/frame transitions), for the first time:
I meant to add more Movie 7 tracks. But I'll have to wait until Luffy is the Pirate King and finds One Piece (in the anime), before version 2.0 happens.
Known information mistakes: FLAC version says Movie 2 for one of the heavily synthesized fight themes, but should be Movie 4.
FLAC and MP3 version both credit Kohei Tanaka for the final track, but it's actually Shiro Hamaguchi.Hope people enjoy. I'll upload the .cue files tomorrow once I rest better and rationalize why including the .cue files in the first place is even necessary. (I find people don't know what those are for, these days.)

Some time ago, it bothered me that the MSC sets (for the most part) presented the music as medleys of individual pieces, instead of having each piece be its own track. If you were ever curious of each individual piece's title, I've prepared an English version of French fan-group OharaTree's document that answers this.
Don't know how many people really care about this, haha, but here it is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aEZYVFvSClF8jD9Ca0ryd67aGumy4msdmfkfTbweklg/pub

Shin Nohata, a musician known as "Rootless" who sang "One day", got busted on November 14 due to stealing 2 guitars from his friend.
He stated that he wanted money to bet on horse racing.[source:

So, I just learned that neither Kohei Tanaka or Shiro Hamaguchi composed the music for Film Gold but rather Yuki Hayashi who did the music for My Hero Academia. Were Hamaguchi and Tanaka just too busy with the anime's soundtrack for Zou onward to work on it or did they decide to not waste their time scoring music that wouldn't benefit them by appearing in the anime due to it being on a record label than Avex? Or are they even composing the anime's music anymore? I love their score for the series so I'd really like to know

Wow another soundtrack this soon? Well not exactly packed with that many new tracks, 7 in total. Comes with a DVD of a 'non-television' version of Big Mom's song?
The Vinsmoke Sanji track sounds great.
-
That's some unexpected good news. My track translation:
1. Bloody Party
2. Bloody Party (Instrumental Ver.)
3. Press On Through the New World!
4. Empress Big Mom ~Charlotte Linlin~
5. The Seducing Woods ~Once You Go In You Don't Come Out~
6. The Germa 66!
7. Vinsmoke Sanji
8. Warrior of the Sea Sora
9. Bloody Party (Full Ver.)
10. Bloody Party (Full Instrumental Ver.)I agree that "Vinsmoke Sanji" is probably going to be the best one, but I'm also looking forward to the full versions of the Germa 66 and Big Mom themes, as well as the full version of "Bloody Party". Once again I can't help but say how pleased I am that new music is being regularly composed for the anime again.
-
I wonder if the DVD will contain new animation to a potentially extended version of the song (Bloody Party Full Ver.), or is it only the animation we saw in last weeks episode and can stream on youtube right now?

And also:
The Title of One Piece mini Album is: " ONE PIECE Big Mum Music Concert - Welcome to Whole Cake Island ~ "

Got a question regarding the movie soundtracks:
Does anyone know why none of the Film Z/Film Gold(Too early?) soundtracks have been used in the anime? All the other movies had soundtracks that were later used in the weekly show, except for those.

Licensing. Different record labels. Although Film Z would be nice Film Gold has an entirely different composer and feel, it wouldn't really fit.
I'm slightly against using film scores in the TV anime because most of the time the music is specific to fit the scenes of represented film. Would rather hear more original tracks in the anime but I understand that it's a budget/time thing.

Damn, I honestly cannot wait to have the Gear Four Transformation piece from Luffy's fight with Doffy…wow. Also, here's a challenge, does ANYONE have the score to the very first OP OAV (Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack) in decent quality lol? I loved that OST...reminds me of Sega Genesis-themed music! On that thought...wouldn't it be amazing if Ganzack returned as Luffy nears the OP treasure but just...in pure badass form lol?
-
Do you know where I can see the dates for One Piece Music SYmphony Worldwide ? I am currently in Taiwan seeing advertising for it but I can't read Chinese.
I went to the concert in Paris 2 years ago and I would sure like to go again. -
