One Piece is TOP 1 in general Manga Ranking with 32,340,000 copies in 2010 (One Piece sold 14,721,000 copies in 2009).

One Piece is TOP 5 in individual Manga Ranking.

2 - One Piece Vol. 57 - 2,579,000 copies
3 - One Piece Vol. 58 - 2,557,000 copies
4 - One Piece Vol. 60 - 2,492,000 copies

Well, that's debatable. It's never a good thing to use sales numbers as an indicator of the comic book's quality.

Everything is subjective, but people usually name the Transformers movies as a good example where the two don't click.

Of course, I'm not saying that the quality of the Transformers movies is even remotely comparable to that of One Piece, in my opinion, of course.

But, "best manga out there" is stretching it a bit.

Wow… 32,343,809 copies sold in general, and about 8% of that amount is enough to get all 5 new tankoubon with a large buffer to FMA and Naruto. And LOL about Bleach losing towards Fairy Tail.

I believe that the One Piece anime is more celebrated in Japan, and that indirectly boosts the volume of readership for the manga. In other countries, perhaps it's the lack of dubbing quality that drives away foreign audiences. Or maybe it's the lack of sponsorship and marketing due to bad experiences (such as 4Kidz, Cartoon Network in America).

I actually like seeing a talentless moron like Mashima beat up a lazy bastard like Kubo. Bleach started out perfectly good and only though laziness and playing to every lowest common denominator in the shonen book did it start to suck. Kubo knows better and can do better but doesn't.

A Light That Shall Never Cease One Piece will continue to stand as a Pillar within the Manga World for considerably well past its end. It's been like that for a while to me anyway.

It's awesome to see such stats but im not that surprised in the end as I faithfully expected such numbers. Although I never want it to end but when it does I can't wait to have the whole collection to share with my children.

Being the best in Jump right now is not very meritorious XD.

But I agree, very few action manga (in shonen range) have the consistency of One Piece. Ushio to Tora, Ranma 1/2 and… very few more that I could recall right now.

As shonen extend in time they start to degenerate, even the holy cow of Dragon Ball was a bad joke at the end.
