update: Amazon has sold out of Charizard.
Pac-Man is still ongoing, Inkling boy is next.

Someone take that "IT PRINTS MONEY" DS gif and replace it with a Ness Amiibo.
I did got the Super Mario Bros series Peach. Which I like better then the Smash bros version.
This just in, a three-inch figure of Ness has turned more of a profit than the entire Mother series combined.
Inkling boy is up on Amazon now~
And Lucina sold out on Amazon.
And Lucina sold out.
What do you mean? I've been refreshing every few seconds for the last 20 minutes. She was never available.
She sold out in like 20 seconds.
And Lucina sold out on Amazon.
Oh what the heck was that?? I kept refreshing the reddit post, boom Lucina goes live. I kept refreshing and clicking the link but it never had the direct $12.99 purchase option. Even when it still said "live".
And now it's sold out. sigh
Good luck to anyone getting Robin later.
EDIT: sold out that quickly? Dear Naga.
I was almost constantly mashing refresh. It never displayed as available. What the fuck is this?
I feel bad for the people that were trying to get Lucina. I guess it was good thing that my friend preorder her for me, when Wal-Mart had preorders.
I was just trying to get it for a friend… but I'm still super pissed. At Nintendo. I just... I can't believe this.

I know, it's insane. Even when people are given a clear window (told in advance!) and a 1-amiibo limit, supply still sucks. :/
Raided target in the morning, only pac-man, Wario and one inkling boy were left. The employees were opening the jigglypuffs from a box and buying them for themselves when I arrived. Thanks Obama
I got myself Two Ness', Charizard, Greninja, and Jiggs all at MSRP and I didn't have to stand in a single line this morning! Huzzah!
I'm pretty sure you've said that already. Various times. We get it.

It also seems like there's a bigger emphasis on creating more Eastern-inspired classes to their Western Nohr counterparts.
Also, The Chin is named Harold and he's a Nohr-exclusive Fighter. Bottom row is all Hoshido-exclusive.

Yet even more reason to play Nohr.
Wario is now sold out on Amazon. While Pac-Man, Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Sliver Mario are still up on Amazon.
Been refreshing literally every second for Robin. Nothing so far. Though it might be gone.
And Robin is sold out on Amazon.
Was literally there on time. Saw it, clicked on it, and was kicked out because it was sold-out
No fucking way man, there's just no fucking way.
Robin is up on tigerdirect.

old man sits by campfire, stroking beard
"Hmmm, yeah, them Oil Wars sure did a number on the Old World. But they weren't nothin' compared to the Amiibo Wars when I was a kid. Some say the Ayatollah launched the first nuke when he learned that Amazon ran out of Yarn Yoshis. Some say it was a terrorist cell in Chechnya angry about missing out on Gold Mario. But you know what I think?"
camera pans out
the old man is sitting among the bombed-out ruins of a Wal Mart
the sound of Deathclaws is heard in the distance
"…I think it was all of us who pulled the trigger over them Amiibos."
old man takes drag of his pipe
broken down radio starts playing Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall as the camera zooms out on him
Ron Perlman: War. War never changes...
The Splatoon 3 pack is now up on amazon.

Why would you make so little of something so popular? I just done get it. I was refreshing Lucina literally every second for 20 minutes and never saw anything.
I swear, if they limit the Yoshi Yarn amiibos, that'll be the last straw.

Shouldn't that be the last yarn?

I personally cannot rationalize how marketing and distribution from Nintendo is so tragically bad. I don't get why an entire Target store gets like four lucinas and a shitton of pac-mans and warios. Someone up there is looking at random charts and sales data that ignores the reality of the demand for amiibo.
Then when stores see certain amiibo have absurdly low numbers, demand is pumped to stupid levels and we suddenly have a shitton more people wanting to get those amiibo than would have originally been interested. Because if you get to the front of the line to buy your wario and there's a robin and a lucina, might as well get those as well because fuck, it's not like they're likely to exist at that price ever again.
So in the end, it's just a pile of factors as well as overall failure to operate as an international, multimillion dollar business that leave us with amiibo becoming a commodity while disney infinity and skylanders sell just as well but are always and constantly available. There is no reason why several amiibo can't receive that same treatment, seeing how stuff like Mario, Peach, Diddy, Link, etc. and CONSTANTLY and endlessly available. I cannot understand the logic, and I don't think they do either because all they say is "we didn't expect such demand/amiibo are a huge success!"

Probably a bit more unlikely since they're from a mario series game, kind of, as well as the fact that they're being treated kind of equally from what I see. Unless they figure "let's make a fuckton more green yoshis" in which case the blue and pink ones will become commodities.
It's like the splatoon amiibo are relatively not rare, but the green squid was given an artificial limit and that fucker it impossible to get now.
Shouldn't that be the last yarn?
Bravo, good sir!

Don't worry, I already know it's unlikely they'll be rare. Just wanted to make a point that even the thought of limiting something so adorable would break the deal for me :)
I'm baffled Lucina and Robin are near impossible to get. Marth, Ike, are all Fire Emblem amiibos destined to be this way?
Yet stores have influx of third-party Pac Man and Silver Mario. The world feels so backwards.

Welcome to Nintendo merchandise, where only Mario, Zelda and [a handful of] Pokemon receive any acknowledgement from Nintendo as mattering enough to market.

this is exactly why I preordering a Blue Yarn yoshi ASAP when the preorders open
An oldie but a goodie.
Direct had some new games - a

Is that what that was? I missed that. Lol. Also it looks like the streetpass feature is back. I wonder if the town building is hoshido only?
I can pet Harold and make him love me

Fire Emblem if: Revenge of Fire Emblem Gaiden
On support amie, I'm fairly certain people don't like it if you rub their lips/face like you would rub a dog's belly.
@black-leg:

He's raising his justice eyebrow at you scratching his face like a lottery ticket
Now I must make Harold a main.
Also in Japan, there's probably kids all excited to use Marth/Ike/Lucina/Robin as amiibo support in If, but as for the rest of us….looks at shelf sadly
Project Treasure looked pretty cool.
