Definitely going to get Marco, Vista and Perona. Not too excited about shanks and law though. Maybe ill get shanks too to complete strong edition. But he is out of place.

Law and Marco are cool. Going to pass on Law though, I am happy with GL version. Haven't read the Whitebeard war in depth yet, so I am not sure getting Marco or Vista until after Xmas when I get caught up. Will be getting at least 1 Persona for a friend, maybe 2. Not interested in Shanks- got enough figure I am happy with.

Wow, wasn't expecting Vista. I can somewhat see the reasoning since there probably isn't any other time in the upcoming story where Vista and Marco will be featured again. But I would've preferred Moria since we don't know how much more he'd be shown later on the series.
I'm still planning on picking up all, since I like collecting POPs. (Though with the increase in POP output the past year and looks to continue next year, shelf space is getting limited…)
I was planning on displaying Whitebeard, Ace v1 and Shanks v1 together when Whitebeard is released, but now that 2 other WB Pirates are coming, I guess I'll keep Shanks in the random ungrouped POP section on my shelf. He will still have to wait for his crew to get their own POPs.
And I'm not planning on displaying SW Shanks with my SW Strawhats. He's not even in the movie/manga. I would've preferred SW Heavy point Chopper instead.
Time skip Strawhats can wait until we find out their new skills. Can't really release a Franky without knowing his secret weapons!

After getting lost in the woods in a ski resort today for hours, I'd thought I'd be in for a nice surprise from Megahouse when I came home.Honestly? They make fucking Vista before the rest of the Admirals? Doflamingo? Moria? Buggy? I can think of 1,000 other different characters that should have gotten one instead. Hell, if they wanted to make another division commander to go with Marco, Diamond Jozu would have been a much better choice. But they chose Vista who is just one step above being a fodder character? What the hell is Megahouse smoking? I hope he sells terribly, which will probably happen anyway.
I'm okay with Law getting one since it was bound to happen, though he looks like shit. I'm happy about the Perona, but it's obvious that they expanded her boobs. I'm liking it overall though.
Really pissed off about another Shanks and Marco, but not nearly as much as the Vista.
Guess what this means? You guessed it, the next POP that will be announced will be Strong World Ace.

The only problem is space.LOL they can only release so many at a time. Your admirals will come sooner or later. Dont worry about it.

wow… I actually agree with this. What the heck. These characters over Buggy? I feel like this is a grave injustice. I can see Perona. She's a girl, and she reappeared with zoro. But vista? Shanks strong world? I love me some shanks, but really? I almost thought it was Fullbody with the first picture that wasn't very clear. It fit better with the obscure character choices. Law looks awful. GLM kicked his ass.
Admirals would have made so much more sense. Aokiji is just sitting there along on my self with smoker as company.
I feel like with POPs since there are so many people can be more selective about who they choose, especially since other figures are coming up that rival them. So you'd think they'd choose hardcore fan characters. Maybe they went this route because no one else seems to be making the WB pirates?
I'm glad for all those Marco fans, though. There you go.

That's true. There's 2 each of those MAIN characters, yet Ace will have 3 since that SW Ace is definitely coming. (And 4 if you count that rehash of the first Ace POP as one.)

We need to just be happy that One Piece is getting such awesome models in the first place.

Vista is great and all (he is by far my favorite of the WB commanders), but really does not need POP treatment at this point. It seems really strange he would get one before Joz too. Is Vista really more popular than Joz?

I am VERY sad that Akainu and Kizaru weren't announced, or Moria or Doflamingo, but I couldn't EVEN be happier xD EVERYONE will now be butt hurt for the rest of the year and next year now that Law is getting a POP. Maybe it's just me but the main reason I buy one piece figures is because one piece has tons of interesting/unique characters. I don't really buy or get excited about an aokiji or luffy figure, but someone like hacchi or ivakanov or moria I will always buy.
To me it doesn't really matter how major the characters role is, just how interesting and unique they are. This is why I don't have a single portrait of pirates of the base crew. Personally law seems like a really boring figure. I understand why people love him in the manga.. but he doesn't make a good figure to me. Vista and perona are my favorites of this round. Marco I will probably grab too.

But I'm more pissed that they haven't announced a Rayleigh POP or Sabo CBWell, I kind of wonder if Sabo will ever get a CB release. It's just so strange that Luffy and Ace got released as a set. I mean, they're even in one package. Really, really makes me wonder if they'll even consider Sabo. Perhaps after Luffy/Ace gets released, if they sell well. The original CBs didn't, if I recall correctly. You could still pick them up a year or so later for original price. Another possibility is that he'll get a CB release after he reappears in the main storyline, though who knows how many years that will take.
I don't know. I just feel that if he was going to get a release, it would have been with Ace and Luffy, especially given that they were designed to reenact the brothers "drinking" scene. I hope Megahouse will prove me wrong, though.

They could be waiting for the anime to get to Sabo before they make something for him, he hasn't been shown in color at ALL yet.
He is a super important character to Luffy and Ace. And he's a cute kid, I think he'll get one when he shows up in the anime, maybe the second half of next year.

I'm not a fan of Perona or anything but she deserved a P.O.P. She was basically the right hand of a main villain, she's a unique character that warrants having a figure, and she had some friendly association with the Straw Hats as of late.
All I know is she deserved one a hell of a lot more than Vista. Marco was the only significant member of the Whitebeard pirates that deserved one imo.

[/hide]@OneMan, thanks for those vids of the game center. I picked up some tips. I love how the guy used the box to push the other one in. Sometimes they tape up the openings of the box or put the whole thing in plastic so you can't jam the arm of the crane in like that.
I had a look at a catalog that's available for wholesale traders for next year's releases after the new GLM and DX figures. Guess what? No more game center prizes sold to shops except Panson soft vinyl figures and plush. Eeeek!

A main villain who still has yet to get a POP. Do you really not see whats wrong with that picture? She is a fodder side villain that Oda brought back for a couple extra pages for shits and giggles.
If being the "right hand" of a main villain and then being briefly brought back into the story is all it takes to be considered important enough to get a POP then why don't we just give Hacchi a POP? Or Jango? They would make just as much sense.
