Hey, Krieg was surprised when he saw Zeff and said that Zeff was a famous pirate and has been in the GL, but now he's retired and lost his leg… or something like that. Krieg even asked Zeff for his journal while he was in GL.
So yes, Zeff is/was strong. He is Sanji's master, in a way...

You didn't think he was new world level strong? It was said he could leave his footprints in steel or crush it or something, which is something sanji has a hard time doing he used to have to activate DJ to do it so i'm pretty sure he was really strong, this just confirms it

Zeff had let himself mellow out since his days as a pirate, but even still, he was able to hurt Luffy pretty bad with just a kick (granted, Luffy wasn't as strong back then, but still), so this means he either knows how to use Haki or is really strong. Imagine how he was like in his prime.

The soldier is one of the inhabitants in the moon Enel migrated to. As for the purple haired lady, she's one of Wapol's new assistants in his toy factory.

I really appreciate the work you put into making green available to us. It's so interesting to find out more about OP. So far I've just read the summary and am just starting to dive into the mangastream scanlation. Already love how the pirate symbol on page 4 on luffy's chest ties into his new x-scar..
Now, brook just have to take luffy head on with his concert outfit and the new look is complete.. (-; -

well it says "at least 10". so i am guessing that Oda has already clearly planned in his head the addition of another nakama, and he is leaving it open in case he wants to add more in the future.

yep also they are translating more manga now so it will probly take longer wish they stop wasting their time with the one shots and just do it already
also if mangastream has too much work now then they should not be translating extra manga they have choosen another 2 manga titles to do -

As Luffy quoted Zeff in the chapter "Arlong Park", I totally knew that Zeff meant the first half of the GL, and so he was in the NW, hearing people say "paradise" to the first half of GL.
Then this databook got released and my opinion got confirmed. Damn, I was happy when I read that!
I also hope that BB will have those beard-pony-tails by the end of the story or maybe he has them even now, after 2 years. Make it happen, Oda! -
I caught that too when I was rereading over the month break. I told all my friends and I could tell they weren't fully convinced, mainly because it could have just been a translating coincedence because that arc was so long another AND it was one throw away line.
It feels good when fandom and deligence is rewarded.

We usualy only get random bits in some obscure thread lost in the darkness of the forum.
A full databook scan it's unheard of.

Well, I only read the first volumes until the end of the arlong-arc when the break was over, I gave up rereading the rest of the east blue arc.
There is somewhere a translated version of the green data book, but it isn't translated completely, only until the end of cobymeppo's cover story.
It only says "the true meaning of Zeff's words…" then you see Luffy quoting him in the chapter "Arlong Park" and then you see the panel with the info box "people in the NW call the 1st half of GL "paradise". And thats pretty much it.
The book isn't written by Oda himself, but he has to "give his stamp" onto it I think, so we can consider it confirmed IMO.To your second point:
If that wound really wasn't healed yet completely, maybe Zoro now is even stronger after the timeskip.
But notice: Mihawk gave Zoro a new scar onto his eye. It doesnt look as bad as the chest scar, but seeing with only one eye could also be a handicap.
Aside from that, IDK if Oda uses that quote of the doctor in cocoyashi to make Zoro stronger after these 2 years.
EDIT: I mean physically or medically stronger. Of course he already got stronger in one way only by training with his upper badass instructor Mihawk! ;) -
Since we aren't gonna have new chapters for a couple of weeks, could they at least post part 2 of databook green…and the rest.

I wound up having to remove the binding with a scalpel, with which I have no skill…It took 8 unpleasant hours of cutting myself and shaving away at the super glue binding before I was ready to scan. The scanning took three hours.....
