The biggest problem of the "alive" people is What Ifs? Could Moria have covered himself in his shadow and steal a couple of swordsman's' shadows in his fight with the Straw Hats? Did he? No. Could he have used Doppleman to avoid getting punched in the throat by Jinbei? Did he? No. So, could he use Doppleman to escape somehow? Did he? Probably not.
Moria may have been a great fighter once, but his reflexes and overall combat skills have deteriorated by sitting on his ass for 10 years and making others fight for him against someone who is still sailing and fighting others on the Grand Line and/or New World and aided by top of the line mobile killing machines.

i hope he's alive and imprisoned at most. it would be cool for mihawk (unintentionally) and perona (tagging along with him in ghost form) to uncover the mystery during visits to mariejoa for shichibukai meetings. it was strange for mihawk and hancock to have been out of the loop, while doflamingo was entrusted with this secret task. if anyone is in a position to uncover Doflamingo's secret boss (who i agree is likely Kong), it's a fellow shichibukai, and since perona is with mihawk, i think mihawk is in the best position, because his job gets him close to doflamingo, and he has perona nearby as a motivation to give the matter SOME attention (i know he's not the type to stick his neck out for others but it's odd that a man of such caliber became a shichi, and if he's a shichibukai to spy on the WG, then this Moria mystery is a good chance for us to learn of Mihawk's true incentives).

Speed alone I'd say the SHs are faster than the pacifistas. We saw that in SA. The SHs were simply overwhelmed by it's durability and power not it's speed. Doflamingo is the only unknown in that scenario. Then you'd be banking on Dofla chasing and attacking Doppleman.
Anyway like I said if it's all depending on speed of how quick Moria subs out or brickbat to Doppleman a gangbang isn't absolute in killing Moria.
