yeah i know! why can't they just tell us if it's a fully coloured set or not … -__- that would help me a lot and might have saved me from a terrible mistake ..O__O what .. if they are indeed not all coloured ... will i be able to colour them myself? will i fail miserably? find out at the end of august ..

My father just looks at the shelf with all my Luffy figures on it without saying anything. I think he understands me, though. He would know the joy of collecting and never say anything against it (well, he can still make jokes about it, but I think I have his "OK" XD).
My mom usually just shakes her head, saying something like "what garbage" and "complaining" each and every time whenever I get a package. ("My god, another one?")
She doesn't really bother, though. I'm earning my own money, so I can spend it as I like as well, they don't really care all that much.

My family is different, dad keeps sighting over each new package, another grandma always asks me when I am going to sell all the figures and get a car (loool), mom checks some of the figures from time to time, some she likes alot, some don't impress her much (like Croc XD) She loves plus Choppers the most I think.

The first grandma, who commented on Croc before, for some reason really-really hates my Blackbeard 2x1.5 meters flag, she gets SO pissed off everytime she sees it in my room and keeps ranting XD
She goes - what are thouse?!! SKULLS?!! Eeeeew, it's horrid and disgusting!!!
And I'm like, DUH, come on XD They are cartoony and roundish, look kinda cute even, what is your problem? XD

Out of other people who visit us (like parent's friends and relatives), most just got impressed by amount of figures and only react to my Blackbeard plush XD
They get kinda shocked by his look and ask what the hell is this plush, and I say - it's uncle Blackbeaaaaard, he's a piiiiiiiirate!~ :wub: and they go - ah, ok! daaaaw~

It's funny. My Japanese family actually gives me more gaff about the collectibles than my real mother. When I returned last month (after being away for 2 years), Papa-san asked if I had since "graduated" from toys. I said that I had, but then I would still sneak out to Akihabara every few days and come back with some loot to hide at the bottom of my suitcase. It seemed like he wanted me to appreciate Japan for more than just the pop culture (he loves taking me to shrines, temples, and historic places, and then asking me if I'm beginning to understand Japanese society and mindset), but I don't see why I can't have both :D

Well. After seeing Legato and Alina's pics, I guess it's clear I need to order SW Robin now. Although I did promise myself I wouldn't spend any money collecting StrawHats (a financial black hole if there ever was one), those two POPs look just excellent together. Very sleek, very Mafia-esque. I guess another visit to Amiami is in order.

Of course, I know where this will lead. One StrawHat invariably leads to another StrawHat. I'll get Robin. And then I'll need Nami. And then Zoro, Luffy, Franky, ect. And then other characters, like Boa. Soon, my room will be covered in POPS. shakes head

I get that with any large figure too. Smaller figures I just add to my collection and they don't notice it amidst the army of other little figures that are already there. zzz

hey quick question.
does anyone have an estimate of how much it will cost to ship the POP Zoro version 2 out.
I've never pre-order before, and i've never bought a POP before either so i have no idea how much it will cost.
Will the Zoro POP be able to ship via small packet SAL with AmiAmi?
Also the figure needs to be shipped to Canada.

I saw on HLJ, the shipping cost for Luffy POP was around 15USD, will shipping be the same for the Zoro figure at AmiAmi, or do they charge more?

Yup. They even said I should come visit their family grave when they're all dead and then ask for my own bones to be interred there.

Now I've got all my figures displayed (but one, I forgot I never unpacked Legato ;A;!!!) , they make displaying/organizing so much easier XD

But now I think I only have enough room to purchase 2 more large risers to hold SW Franky, and then the new Nami and Zoro D: After that I'm screwed.

I think I'm gonna go get a detolf even though it can't stay in that room, it'll have to do to hold things until I move.

Depends on where you're shipping it to and how you're shipping it. You should be able to get it shipped SAL with Amiami but when in doubt e-mail them and ask.

Shipping may be a little bit more for the figures with amiami but they give out better discounts and promotions, so they're really good.

Some stuff from amiami today, love the small package SAL, always consistently around a week for me in CA…

First up, Wobble Ships.....These aren't the greatest but they make good accessories imo at the bases of some of my POPs...it is a bit deceiving though since it seems like the advertisements implied the ships were attached to some kind of spring at the base and they wobble back and forth....well they're not....they act sort of like darumas (a doll that doesn't fall supposedly) with a concave base so if you touch the ship, it wobbles a bit. Not what I expected but not horribly expecting much for the price:
