I won't lie, i am afraid that Oda could pull something terrible like that. But that would put him on Kubo's level of trolliness, i'm trying to give the man some credit.

Honestly, I can't imagine a good story-teller like Oda droping something like this on our faces.
I've already been disappointed in One Piece but the man is definitely a trustworthy one. -
Storywise Ace IS dead, maybe if instead a flashback and a farewell speech he had have a chat with his father on the underworld or some shit like that i could consider those spots to grow again on the vivire card, right now just some bad writing can bring Ace back to live.

ace is dead. end of discussion. luffy turns saiya mode. but unconscious. luffy beat the hell out of akainu. the hormone iva gave start giving after-effect problems. luffy dying because of that. akainu strike his magma fucking fist before marco&vista realize. thunder suddenly strike akainu. dragon come with a zeppelin. dragon come and pick luffy. WB make his move again. WB annihilate marineford with his ultimate earthquake suicide fist. scene move to zeppelin. luffy in a room. still unconscius. footsteps from outside. people gathering. its SH members! they gather around luffy. waiting for him to get conscious. to be continue.. -

What you fail to consider is the difference one chapter could make and the finality the chapter provided.
From the very beginning, the chapter was titled "The Death of Portgas D. Ace" intentionally done by Oda so we'd have no lingering doubt on his fate and to set us automatically to grieving mode. Throughout the chapter, Oda clearly stated that Ace was going to die to the point that even Ace himself said so. Not to mention the talk of having no more regrets, the speech on passing on his will, the symbolism on how everything went full circle ad how Ace accepted who he was and that he was loved and the most damning of all, the vivre card. A fantastic literally device probably planned from the beginning that there would be no ambiguity or doubt about his death. The greatest evidence however is the fact that if Oda HAD planned to bring him back, he wouldn't have made such a heart-breaking chapter like that and gone to such lengths to express his death. it would be unnecessarily writing yourself into a corner.
Just face it, he's dead. It's a real shame since his character could have gone so many ways but that's what makes it more tragic and with such great impact.

The rank is very important on how you quick you will get a scanlation.
Classic mangas like City hunter that explodes Naruto are not even entirely scanlated despite having all the volumes available.

Well i have to say I had my doubts at first but after realizing what happened I see no way of Ace surviving this.
He himself said he knsows that he is dying, he said thank you and died smiling even said that Luffy will be PK… Not WB for the first time.
Paper, chapter title and flashbacks are even more proves.
Than thhis stupid Marco theory... marco is shocked and was all this time afraid of WB's illness... why if he could simply revive Ace or WB? Why didn't he revive Thatch after BB killed him? Cuz he can't? he isn't a walking Shen Long.
Than the other theory... Iva... Same like Marco. I doubt Iva can create new internals to revive Ace... If he could do such a thing he wouldn't be afraid of some poison or other stuff.
Ace is dead for sure... if not Oda wasted 2 chapter and all this emotions for nothing and it would be the first time I would say... That Sucks. For Luffy's character and the future story it is better if he stays dead.
Like I said before... All other fake deaths like Pell, Conis father and other fodder have no importance for the future plit off Luffy's adventure. Hell Luffy even wasn't aware that Pell had survved and still was smiling and sailing to the next island.
But this thime his brother, who he was trying to save with all his might died and the first timer ever Luffy hadn't accomplished his goal of this arc and lost someone important
