Why was he fighting so slowly what Hiyori was dying. Did Kubo forget? Cause I actually kind of did for awhile–you'd think something like that would be more important to the story. That fat guy put him to stasis so when Deus ex Machima girl (Orihime) arrives she can cancel wholes cutting event happened.
See guys dont get worried, if someone of good guys gets hurt or even killed its ok because Orihime will heal anything.

This arc especially makes me wonder, what does Kubo's editor, that Yujiro guy, do? Isn't it his job to look after the pacing and focus of the manga if the mangaka himself doesn't understand a bit of it? Or does Kubo think that he's an experienced enough mangaka to judge everything by himself?
It's quite obvious that Kubo doesn't understand the meaning of "protagonist" and "main cast" and instead takes much more thought to create secondary characters. And it's was quite fine with what we had till now - since Kubo does manga to be able to draw "cool" things.
The Winter War Arc could have quite good, even after all the dissapointment of what came after the Soul Society finale. Kubo had all the cards for his best game - and yet, he failed miserably.
He knew that this saga has gone for a long time - so he could have shown a tiny bit more effort planning it out. For example, was it really necessary to have 3 volumes of fighting between those Whatshisnameagain lieutenants and Thatoneguy arrancar fracciones? I understand characters need screentime, but they should get it according to their importance. It is quite ridiculous to see fraccione go down in three chapters while one of the three main villains goes down in just as much time. Yes, Kubo has an awful pacing. But sometimes it works in the tankobon format - Ulqiuorra fight, for example. Why couldn't this technique be adapted here?
And another card played wrong is the vizard hype which was building up since the times Bleach was actually interesting. Yes, the ex-shinigami group appeared in quite an impressive way. And, that was it. What else did they do? Slaughter some quite little defensless Menos? Not worth with. Spar some time with Espada? Not worth it. So what was the point of creating interesting, lovable charcters if all they did was get an overhyped appearance, train the main hero and later get saved by him? Sigh.
Also, this goes both ways. Since the last three, like the most powerful, Espada were killed off just as pathetically.And yeah, this is what was wrong only from the point that Bleach is read for fights, not for the plot.

Well those two arrancar girls got obliterated by Grijmmjow leaving nothing but dust behind, and Orihima was able to completely bring them back.
Orihime is not healer, she just can bend time and prevent those bad things ever happening… its called 'rejection' or something.

Shinji pretty much told Aizen how to counter him so… yeah. Also I'm too afraid to try and think it all out but for some reason it feels like the fact that if your vision of Shinji is backwards/reverse as well as front and back then if you see him in front of you wouldn't that mean he truly is in front? It's like all those reversals cancel each other out.

at least let her fight rather than being a fcking nurseI understand where you're coming from but this is a shounen, people always explain their powers so that we the reader can understand what's going on. I admit though, it's frustrating as fuck, I wish they would just let us know what's going on without broadcasting it to the opponent, but that would make fights a lot quicker and more boring.

Anyways, how can someone who manipulates 1 sense fight in sense manipulation fight against a guy who can do all 5, and then fails to understand that this guy can manipulate himself to counter?
Not only that, but this guy is old and "experienced", thos was just a way to slaughter him for kubo, he might aswell have used the rest of the chapter on say oh what's going up there.

Then Shinji cold finish what he started, wait a minute Kubo just pulled a plotkai for Aizen, so that's out. I don't get how peple could say Aizen has a massive amount of experience as a shinigami in comparison with everyone else, Shinji himself was around way bore all but 4 of the current captains, and at least 3 of the former captains (Aizen, Urahara and Youruichi, not sure about Gin and Tousen).

I can like manga partly because of really in depth stuff, characterisation etc, and partly because of big flashy moves and action. These days I read Bleach for the fights and cool looking moves. That isn't always the case since I'm hoping Urahara and Yoruichi have something epic planned at some point.
As for Hitsugaya, sure he isn't the strongest captain, but he hasn't been a captain for long in comparison to the others, people forget that. It's similar to when people whinge about Ichigo being weaker than several captains. When you consider how much Ichigo has progressed in the past (plotkai aside) he has done very well in a short space of time.

Oh I ignore the films no matter who is in them because of issues of canoninity. Perhaps I'm biased because only 1 of the 13 Dragonball Z films can be considered canon. Even so, I will usually ignore the films of series. What do you find annoying about Hitsugaya? I'm not a fanboy, but a fan, so I'm asking out of curiousity. I always use reason even when it comes to my favourite characters. So don't expext me to be all Hitsugaya pwn!1s lol. I will actually be reasonable about these kind of things heh.
Edit: yes I am aware of all the fanboys out there, but I have trouble with fanboys and girls of any character, mostly because they cannot have a reasoned discussion about said character it's usually just X character pwns, and that's where they end.

I have to have my favourite character as three characters, since I love all 3 equally. Kenpachi for his epic no need for bankai-ness, Urahara for his goofy facade yet secretly extreme strength (very much the Jiraiya of Bleach in that regard) and Yoruichi for her mastery of kido, her flexibility and her speed.

Subconsciously I must have counted them as doubly badass lol, and for villains they are haha. I know what you mean about not deserving to be mentioned in the same breath, my full list of characters I love would be a fair bit longer than my first list lol. Though if I had to be piecky and choose my top 5 they would be the shared number 1 of Yoruichi, Kenpachi and Urahara, then with a shared number 2 spot of Stark and Grimmjow.

So Ichigo is finally going to fight Aizen. It only took like 200 chapters to get to this point.
I seriously feel that Tousen and Shinji were taken down way too easily, considering the experience they wield. I know Aizen is smart and all, but Shinji should have at least been able to cut him. If anything, I found Shinji's powers to be pretty cool and interesting overall. We can only hope that Ichigo doesn't beat Aizen so easily, or it would completely ruin his ability to outsmart every other person in the story so far.
On a side note, I was thinking while watching the Soul Society arc recently that this fight against the still-standing Yammy would be a perfect opportunity for some power-ups for Kenpachi, Byakuya and Mayuri. Better yet, we are still yet to see Kenpachi learn the name of his sword. Not to mention Yachiru hasn't done a bit of fighting at all, despite Kubo elluding to her being strong. I'm wondering if she actually has a Zanpakuto or not.

I've been waiting forever for that. Even though his sword is always in a released state, I'd still like to see Kenpachi at least learn his shikai's special ability (bankai would be even better–but could you imagine Kenpachi's bankai? O_O)
Not to mention Yachiru hasn't done a bit of fighting at all, despite Kubo elluding to her being strong. I'm wondering if she actually has a Zanpakuto or not.
She does have a zanpakuto, with a flower pattern on the crossguard and a set of wheels (courtesy of Ikkaku) on the end of the scabbard. She's never used it in the manga yet, except as a sort of scooter. You think hanging around Kenpachi for so long she'd be a capable fighter, but so far she hasn't really done anything (other than torment Ikkaku).

Anything less and I'll feel cheated.
(Similarly, before the end of Naruto, Rock Lee needs to use drunken 8th gate abilities.)

Don't get your hopes too high. Shonen rules mean Aizen has to unleash his trump card and screw everything. Plus, marketing rules means Bleach needs to make it through its 10th anniversary which is 2011. I'm pretty sure Ichigo and Aizen aren't going to fight for the next 2 years solid. Even Kubo can't stretch a fight that long.
Ichigo's gonna put on a show, but odds are good he's going to lose this fight and Aizen will retreat and gather yet MORE troops. In a hell arc, perhaps.

i don't want kenpachi to know his swords name , he is a badass because he is strong without having a zanpakto name !
i don't think that ichigo will be able to beat aizen unless he uses his ressurection or maybe even in that form he will not be able to win against aizen !

Yeah that's a fair point camel. I know I thought Kenpachi was gonna go bankai when he fought Nnoitra but then I was pleased he went 2 handed on him.
Aizen needs his secondary army lol. After all this I doubt he will go down that easy. Plus there is too much unrevealed in Bleach such as the nature of Shunsui's bankai, the reason Isshin left ss and so on.

I still think little pink haired girl is his sword and he's just in release/bankai all the time and doesn't know it. But then, maybe the current filler in the anime will adress his sword's inner being.

I liked the idea of Yachiru being his bankai but then again I want to see Yachiru fight on her own at some point. Yachiru being part of Kenpachi would be interesting, it would remind me of Lilinette and Stark (R.I.P).

It would be hard to explain but I don't think Kubo gives a shit anyway these days regarding plot details lol. I've been hearing the phrase plotkai a lot recently lol.
The SS arc was the best, I'm hoping the next arc will be as good. But Kubo, no more rescue arcs! Unless of course it is to rescue Ichigo so other characters can shine.

Not hard at all. Kenpachi named her, and other bankais have been living sentient creatures, as have inner swords. And Ichigo is in release mode all the time because he can't contain his energy.
