If Zoro could cut through metal before the time skip, why can't he cut through sea-stone and get Luffy out the coliseum plain and simple? Why can't Luffy break through the wall? We've seen him nearly destroy a monstrous ship; we've seen him punch Hodi through massive stone walls. Luffy stayed put while someone pulled a gun on his friend and shot him without doing a thing? This is not the same Luffy that would break through anything to save a friend. This is not consistent with someone who told Hodi that he would not let anything happen to friends no matter what! It seems funny that he was asking stupidly what Dofla was going to do with a friend that was almost dead and then, most annoyingly, he starts running from fodder who's strongest member, Admiral Fuji is retreating with Dofla for some talk that is so important it has to be done in the castle while the Mugiwara crew runs agog.
These inconsistencies are beginning to unnerve. Oda is pushing the drama overboard, now the clutter is being jumbled up in strings. No wonder the breaks are so many. This plot will congeal into a massive mess if he doesn't cool it off someho. He should take his time, go on hiatus and make sure this manga remains unblemished. That's all I can ask for.
Seastone is special and really hard, pretty sure Zoro can't cut it. About the walls… either the bars run into them too, or they're made of something really resistant. Listen, the thing is: Doflamingo wanted to trap all those fighters in the coliseum. Obviously if "breaking the walls" was a viable way of getting out it wouldn't make any sense, considering who's in.
The concept is: Doflamingo trapped powerful fighters in the coliseum, period.Fujitora and Doflamingo need to talk because Fujitora isn't sure about wanting to arrest them or not, god knows why. Also Doflamingo isn't underestimating them, and taking out Zoro in the middle of the city maybe isn't the best idea (the whole citizen watching and shit)

I just wonder if the magnum gun that blew ceaser away at maximum impact with full velocity wouldn't blow that seastone window/balcony off? Just silly.

Now is the best chance for Bellamy to try to assassinate Luffy and probably his attempt will be blocked by Bartolomeo. I have this feeling that Bellamy will steal the Mera Mera no mi and he will give it to Luffy at the end of the arc.

Oh my god, was an amazing chapter this is the only chapter that I been excited since that began arc.
Big mom, I simply don't know that which intended to capture the mad scientist, but now with so many characters in this arc I don't know as Oda will develop all this.
Zoro apparently he has gone well with his small fight with Fujitora, the ability is very annoying is a gravity that exerts force on you creating a large hole.
Finally we can see Sanji in action and see the results of your workout.
Final fight, Luffy vs Doflamingo. This arc will mark the history as did Eniess lobby.
I've always had the feeling that if Akainu learns that Doflamingo is "Joker" there is no doubt that will order him to Fujitora to destroy Dressrosa together with everyone, because he has his "Absolute Justice"

Not that big of a deal. Kind of like when Luffy got stuck in the rock at Arlong Park and didn't think to break it to escape. Oda keeps Luffy busy for plot reasons, luckily this one shouldn't take too long to get out of.

im calling it now. big mom is on that ship. why?
first: the ship is alive and it sings! its obvious that that is big mom's maiden ship!
second: it make sense if big mom actually came to dressrosa herself so that we can get a confirmation about lola's vivre card. if it turn out its big mom's card then the crew will be saved. no need for them to struggle on their way to zou.
third: if all these theories are correct, then the straw hats in dressrosa can focus on dofla+his gang because big mam will land to dressrosa and have skirmish with admiral+his marines. i dont see any way to wrap-up this arc with more than one BIG NAMES to worry about. so thats where big mam role comes in

I guess Sanji and co, are going to head to Zou then there they are going to be captured defeated, but also there is a possibility for assistance by KID APPO HAWKINS and Jinbei too.
While Luffy and Zoro bring down Dofla. I think the other pirates of the coloseum are going to bring down a lot of DD memebers.

aight aight good for u, chapters u really like must be rare if u always focus on the small things like that, and most of the time, they tend to be explainable, i think someone even linked an explanation of kairoseki being harder then diamant.
I KNO I KNO we dont know if the walls have the kairoseki bars running threw them, but ill eat the pill and believe they do.
I mean we just had the chapter of the year, and people still find things to nitpick about, you gotta understand that its a story that goes on for several DECADES, it cannot be flawless, and such minor flaws shouldnt be talked after such a great chapter.

insane! The Strawhats are defiantly getting new bounty's in this arc.Some thing tells me, Kid will also come into the picture pretty soon, remember he's after her and her crew too. Super Nova arc may happen sooner than we all thought :)
I'm loving what's going on, not your normal split up. Sanji's dealing with Big Mom's crew while Luffy's team takes on Dof and his crew. Finally, will get to see what the Monster Trio can really do
Oh, forgot Luffy's still got Usopp / Franky / Robin on the Island, hope that means they'll get a good couple of showdowns too
Wonder if will see Chopper fight, Sanji I'm sure has gotten a lot stronger since pre time skip days but these are Big Mom folks, it's not going to be an easy one.

Yeah I thought the Big Mom and Supernova parts would come after this arc. Dressrosa is going to be crazier than I thought.
Great chapter, it really sets up the next part of the arc. It's weird having Donflamingo as the main antagonist but having people stronger than him in the same arc. Big Mom is too strong to be defeated this early by Luffy, so I wonder what her role will be. Fujitora is probably the one who has the best chance against her. It was good to see Zoro coming back from Fujitora's attack showing his ability to keep up with higher tier strength. Sanji has been really eager lately, it's good to see he's cut down being all loved up and is being badass like he can be. Nami's part was well done, it confirmed that the Straw Hats are fighting for Law's plan and being loyal to the alliance, as well as protecting Momo and kicking Donflamingo's ass just because he deserves it more than anyone.
The little clips of Momo's vision of Donflamingo and the terrified reactions to Kaido's name are making more sense. Oda is the master at building plotlines up. Now he's slowly going to tie things up and I can imagine it's going to be full of action with the amount of people involved. I think during all the chaos Burgess will get the mera mera fruit which would make it Blackbeard 2-0 Luffy (1 being taking down Ace). The rivarly will just get more intense which is what we need for their clash later on.
I don't really get the Caribou story, it needs wrapping up. Kaido might just get hold of the biggest card of them all.

Right now Sanji is the Captain of the swirly crew, you can't be a captain, Cook, strategist, powerhouse all by yourself so he has to share some with the crew or things will go bad.

This chapter was so amazing. Had to read it again a second time. This is my favorite of any manga this year, brilliant. I thought it came out tomorrow, looked early in the morning today and couldn't see it. Checked it out again at lunch during work and noticed it wasn't sticked yet.
Just brilliant, the Big Mom angle was so out left field, I still can't believe it. I am hoping Law takes a backseat for most of the arc now however. I would however, like him to do something during the end of the arc, something meaningful. The last thing I want is the two main Supernovas other than Luffy and Zoro, to become cheerleaders of Luffy. I think this would have been a nice opportunity for Chopper to heal him, but that opportunity ship has sailed… Sanji, Zoro and Luffy all got some time to shine. I said I would hate arc rescue mission #21423 with Law getting captured if it happened, and it happened.. However Oda executed it very well, so I don't mind at all. I do hope it doesn't get prolonged and becomes a major topic, either he disappears completely or they save him very quickly (6-10 chapters from now). I do not want Law turning helpless and Luffy and Co. saving meldrama Ace 2.0. I loved it in Marine Ford but it might look eerily similar to it.
This chapter was brilliant. It's about time Oda throws big players and let the dominos drop. It was incredibly annoying that most battles during Ace's rescue were off panel and everyone was ok other than very few exceptions for the big players.

This was an INCREDIBLE chapter! Things just got fuck-nuts!!! I'm really glad that the crew is going to do this split venture, something I've always wanted to see in the series. And nicely they'll return with Law's crew, so it'll be nice to see Bepo and Jean-Bart in the new world.
Big Mom might now have the best ship in the series! A talking ship… I wonder if this has something do with the Klautermann or Devil Fruit infusion. So many questions and awesomeness.

It's entirely possible, since Tamago/Pekoms were the ones who picked it up. Next chapter we may get a hilarious scene of the ship blowing up or something. XD

I love how the arc intensified with just this one chapter. We've gone from the crew vs. a shichibukai's crew to the half-the-crew vs. a shichibukai's crew, the marines, and a yonkou's crew. This guarantees they can't beat everyone, but I wonder how many fighters are going down once this arc is over.
Also, Luffy leaving the coliseum. I was wondering how the pacing of this story would be balanced, and here it is. It never seemed like we could hold off the conflict with Donflamingo long enough for Luffy to finish, and now Don's forced Luffy to come to him. How is this going to balance out? Can Luffy get out? Can he fight both places at once (how funny would it be if Luffy fought the rest of Donflamingo's crew after Luffy beat their captain), or will several things be missed. What about Rebecca? Luffy cares about her too so what's he going to do about that? Heck, overall it seems like everyone has too much to handle.
I liked how Zoro and Kinemon were overmatched, but still stood strong. It's funny how post timeskip the crew (mostly) hasn't lost a fight yet this arc still seems so hopeless. I personally have hoped they'd except most of the expectations I've seen here, but it looks like I'm going to end up wrong.
Lastly, this arc seems to be one of the best for Sanji yet. He's been consistently right, fought the strongest enemies, converted a beautiful lady to their side, and is going to battle a yonkou's crew. I feel like every flaw about his character could be redeemed, yet people either won't notice it or complain about petty crap anyway.
