We already know Season Two will be the 90-someodd Baroque Works episodes and Season Three will be the 52 Skypeia episodes, so what do you think about for Season Four? I'll post back with my thoughts a little later.
Have fun!

From the beginning of G8 to the beginning of EL, that'd be episodes 196-263 and 67 episodes. That sounds like a good amount of episodes. Though that is a crap-load of filler but G8 is good, I've never seen the Memory filler.
G8-the Beginning of Water 7.
Memory filler's alright, but then again, I do like amnesia stories.
Are they organizing the seasons by sagas? If so, then I guess G-8 to Post-Enies Lobby.
I think will just put seasons 6 and a little of season 7 (japanese count)
Are they organizing the seasons by sagas? If so, then I guess G-8 to Post-Enies Lobby.
That would be an insane amount of episodes.

130 episodes in 1 season?
If we're doing it by storyline then 196 to 228.
Well in the original press release for Season 3, Funi said that Season 3 will be Episodes 144 - 206.
In my opinion, Season 4, should 207 - 325. Since it would make since of the Widescreen episodes starts at Episode 207. And it good chance that Funi probably will get the widescreen verison of 207 and up.
For the love of anything, I hope season 4 starts with 207. Hopefully we will get a Blu-ray release as well. As for where it ends, probably where they escape from Garp or the filler leading up to Thriller Bark.
In my opinion Season 4 should end at the Blackbeard and Ace fight.
Related question but, do we know if the flashback episodes are included in the count?
It should be G8 to the end of Water 7, right before they attack Enies Lobby.
Episodes 207-325, or at least up to the end of Water 7…
G8 belongs with Skypiea because the animation (as far as I know) and aspect ratio are the same as before.
I agree with Mikey D. Luffy Skypea's Saga should've counted G8, similar to how Rainbow Mist counted for Alabasta. But, they've already looped with Cp9 saga. I think Season 4 should end at the Post Eniese Lobby Filler.
I think it should be 207 - 263
It should probably be G8 through Water 7, eps 196-263. Season five should encompass Enies Lobby.
G8 is what…eleven episodes? That means there will either be an eleven episode episode set (Season Three Fifth Voyage)...or they just make it Season Four First Voyage and throw on two more episodes. Even if 207-208 are widescreen, is not it possible for them to be anamorphic widescreen without affecting the other episodes?
My Season Four Prediction:
First Voyage: 196-208
Second Voyage: 209-221
Third Voyage: 222-235
Fourth Voyage: 236-249
Fifth Voyage: 250-263
Judging by the episode title, this seemed like the best spot to end the season. For Season Five I'd estimate the next 72 episodes would be a fine bunch (264-336) which would allow for Season Six to be 337-405 (70 episodes). Obviously I don't worry about 'full season sets' as we aren't likely to get those for a decade or two.
I think it should be this:

The widescreen episodes would the effect the quality of the episodes, with the full screen episodes.
I rather keep the G8 episodes part of Season 3. Since in the original press release of Season 3, 196 - 206 are part of Season 3.
Season 1- 1-53
Season 2- 54-130/143
Season 3- 131/144-206
Season 4- 207-263
Season 5- 264-325
The widescreen episodes would the effect the quality of the episodes, with the full screen episodes.
Not really. All DVDs are encoded at the same resolution regardless of whether they're in 4:3 or 16:9, (The actual resolution is somewhere inbetween those two, apparently) and then it's just stretched to fit whichever aspect-ratio it's supposed to be in. So the quality wouldn't be affected even if they were to mix the 4:3-episodes and the 16:9-episodes on the same disc… Though I do have to wonder how the technical info on the DVD would look if they did that... "Aspect ratio: 4:3 for 10 episodes and then 16:9 for the last 3"?
207-325, and then I'd be inclined to say ice/thriller should be a season on it's own.

That seems to be the closest prediction. I bet Funi will do it like this.
Season 4 should end at Water 7's end, and Season 5 should be Enies Lobby, Post-Enies, Ice Hunter and Thriller Bark
@mdmartin101:
Season 4 should end at Water 7's end, and Season 5 should be Enies Lobby, Post-Enies, Ice Hunter and Thriller Bark
…Why should Enies Lobby and Thriller Bark be in the same season? That doesn't make any sense. I agree that Season 4 should end when they set off for Enies Lobby, but Season 5 should probably end at episode 312, as that's really where the CP9-arc "ends".
@Yuugi's:

They won't be. Other international dubbers didn't get the widescreen masters, so FUNimation probably won't either.
Are they organizing the seasons by sagas? If so, then I guess G-8 to Post-Enies Lobby.
I agree that Funi is dividing the seasons by sagas. That's definitely the trend they're showing. But still, the sheer number of episodes of Water 7 and Enies Lobby alone would make Season 4 have a huge number of voyages. At the same time though, the sagas plus or minus filler episodes are the easiest and most logical places to divide up the seasons. I guess it's more or less Funi's call unless Toei dictates otherwise.
They won't be. Other international dubbers didn't get the widescreen masters, so FUNimation probably won't either.
Could be not wanting to pay the money Toei asked for.
Hell, we got a Blu-ray, so I put some faith in FUNimation.
^ Totally agree on that point.
Lol I posted in the wrong thread. >_> Anyway, Season Four should have what that table said.
Season 4 will not encompass the whole Water 7/Enies Lobby arc. That would simply be too long.

Yet when I used to say that about Baroque works, everyone told me I was wrong…
I think this:
Season 3 - Skypiea & G8
Season 4 - Davy Back Fight & Water 7
Season 5 - Enies Lobby
Season 6 - Ice Hunters & Thriller Bark
Season 7 - Sabaody, Amazon Lilly, & MAYBE Impel-Down based on how long it ends up being.
In call honesty I would rather Sabaody (how the heck do you pronounce that?) be packaged with Ice Hunters and Thriller Bark. It's a better season ender.
Sabaody if pronounced like Portuguese would be "Sah-bown-dee". In the show it's pronounced "Shah-bohn-dee".
Yet when I used to say that about Baroque works, everyone told me I was wrong…
Baroque Works is shorter than CP9. If Baroque Works was done in a single set it would be pushing the reasonable limits already. CP9 is just out of the question.
This is the most likely scenario

I hate to bump a old thread, but this guy's prediction sounds really good I think should with this.
Thanks it bit ot of date now so i might update it, lol
Season 1: East Blue
Season 2: Baroque Works ending at ep 135
Season 3: ep 136-206 (Goat Island, Rainbow Mist, Jaya, Skypiea, G-8)
Season 4: ep 207-263 (Davy Back Fight, Water 7, Rocketman)
Season 5: eps 264-325 (Enies Lobby, Post-Enies Lobby)
Season 6: eps 326-405 (Ice Hunters, Thriller Bark, Spa Island, Saobody Archipelago)

Wolf Claw Studios funimation already confirmed season 3 to just be Jaya and Skypedia and g8.

Where was this confirmed?
Where was this confirmed?
On the original press release for Season 3 back when Funi first got One Piece back in 07. Since on the press release said Season 3 was episodes 144 - 206.
How likely is it G8 is even dubbed? If G8 is tacked on to Season Three we'd be looking at an 11 episode set.
I'd say it's pretty much certain that's it's been dubbed.
Praise be to bad sushi.
If they dubbed Apis's arc, I don't see why they wouldn't dub G8. Funi also seems to look at the One Piece fanbase alot, so they may realize how popular the G8 arc is.
They would dub everything, regardless of the fanbase's opinion. If they have rights to it, then they will dub it. It would be pointless not to, wasted money.
The two posters above me misread the question. Yuugi was asking if the episodes were dubbed YET, not if they were GOING TO BE DUBBED.
And no Yuug, I'd wager they'd be adding the end of Skypiea onto the set :)
^^^ Yeah, maybe Enel`s defeat and the octupus ride down.
I'm thinking Season Three will end with 195 and G8 will be on the opening set of Season Four, actually…
@Yuugi's:

Well you believe what you want while we believe actual facts.
There's no proof that Season Three will have a fifth voyage to cover the G8 episodes. An initial press release detailed those episodes would be aired on TV, but things changed pretty quickly after that.
