Aqua Teen is getting a new spin off series with the villians (The Mooninites, The Cybernetic Christmas Ghost, The Plutonians, and Handbanna).

The character who most deserves a spin-off is Carl.

Eh, I'm not so sure. Most of the Carl-focused episodes of ATHF tended to be pretty lame. It's the old trap of "Hey, this character is hilarious in small doses, so they'll be even more hilarious if we show them all the time!"
It's the reason Planet Sheen didn't work (well, among other things I suppose).

You sold me.
Kinda laughed when I heard the song, though.

the action scenes seem to have weight, that's good

Bro Orko isn't supossed to look this epic.
-
And hey, produced by Kevin Smith, so we know a real geek is at the helm.
But is it me or does Greyskull not look as epic as it used to?

Greyskull never looked rpic to begin with it.

It's the wide shot and flat plains around it.
If you look at the older material like books and toy artwork, they usually used perspective to make it loom up over people or had mountains in the background to center it. Even in shots where you saw it off n the distance, they usually elevated the castle so that your eyes would have to move up to look at it.

So The Mitchells vs The Machines is a Netflix movie . . . so why the hell can't I find it anywhere after I log into Netflix?

Good question. Are you sure your Netflix account and/or Internet connection are set up for the U.S.? The Netflix catalog changes depending on what country it thinks you're in.
I just checked and it's showing up for me.
-
Ahh, there it is. Nord VPN was blocking it, apparently.
Which is strange, since my VPN is set to the US right now anyway. Oh well.

I’d recommend folks to watch Wish Dragon on Netflix. Think Chinese Aladdin set in modern day. It has its cliches and a good amount of cringe, but it’s a sweet film overall.
Okay, the more I’m thinking about it the more I’m enjoying it. I feel like it’s something I’d wanna watch again soon, which I haven’t had in awhile for a film.

The season 4 premiere of Miraculous was really good. But I feel really bad for Marinette at the end of the episode, that she couldn't tell Luca that she's Ladybug.
! One thing for sure, I didn't expect Luca's dad being Jagged Stone
Other Miraculous news, Here are the episodes titles for the July new episodes of Miraculous.
July 3rd - "Queen Banana"
July 10th - "Guiltrip"
July 17th - "Optigami"
July 24th - "Sentibubbler"
July 31st - "Rocketear" -

Well, it's been working for Seth MacFarlane.
-
Why?
-
Seriously, do we need an sequel to that movie.
-
-
Why?
$634 million on a $75 million budget and they want another franchise besides Despicable Me. Since Secret Life of Pets 2 only made half as much as the first one, this is their next best option.

Saw Wish Dragon on Netflix. It was fun, but a bit shallow; Sony animation is top tier in terms of kinetic rapid fire animation and jokes and are a joy to watch, and the performances are good, but it also keeps in this same gear a lot. It stops for some pathos every now and then but these stops are brief, and the tension - internal and external - never gets particularly high. I guess it makes it a good fit for younger kids, but I couldn't help but want it to dig just a bit deeper, to iron out those character arcs a bit more.
A pleasant, well meaning, but ultimately not too nutritious meal, but still, in terms of comedy and inventiveness, Sony animation are worth watching.

The last couple episodes of Miraculous Ladybug had a lot of plot development.
! The ending of the Gang of Secrets episode just shocked me. Since I didn't expect Marinette to revealed that's she Ladybug to Alya. I really enjoyed today's episode that introduce Chole's sister, Zoe. I know Chole did some real bad things in past episode, but man she's was really cruel to Zoe on today's episode. I seen the preview for the next week episode and from looks it's going to be continuing the storyline from this episode with Chole and Zoe.

Why?
The first one made a lot of money. It was actually decent enough with a surprising bit of heart to it, (i've watched the "I'm still standing" clip a few times) but it in no way demands a sequel. Certainly not with the entirely same cast.
I guess Taron Egerton needs to do another Elton John song.
That said the trailer has done it's job and me interested in the lion at least.
-
Since they're remaking He-Man, I would prefer real classics be brought back as well.
Pirates of the Dark Water
!
Not American, but - Mobile Suit Gundam Wing w/ Heero, Zoids, and Ronin Warriors
SWAT Kats
!
Gargoyles
!
Mummies Alive
!
Jackie Chan Adventures
!
Beast Wars
!

Beast Wars was like my first Transformers series. And I didn't knew it was Transformers. I didn't even knew what a Transformers was at the time.
-
Everybody wants Gargoyles back. Or rather I should say, "continued". It doesn't need a reboot.

Same here. It took me so long to get used to Optimus Prime over Optimus Primal.

After Goliath Chronichles or should we pretend that never existed?

The canonical comics already ignored it.

I was lucky to get the episodes that I didn't have downloaded when Disney+ dropped. I still haven't watched it yet. I remember loving the red light, green light game of turning to stone in the middle of conflict. 1 of the few Disney shows I could tolerate back then. Plus, the voice actors were really good.
I remember being a fan of Brooklyn and Demona.

There is no Goliath Chronicles. THERE NEVER WAS.

Brooklyn was also my favorite. And the voice actors were amazing. Keith David went from the big hero Goliath to the classic Disney villain Dr. Facillier. Who knew he could sing?
-
Who knew he could sing?
David was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor In a Musical back in the early '90s.

And Spawn in between
The canonical comics already ignored it.
Didn't they also ignore Goliath & Xanatos no longer being adversarial?
Not American, but - Mobile Suit Gundam Wing w/ Heero,
I'd remake Iron Blooded Orphans before I'd remake Gundam Wing hell Wing doesn't even really need a remake.
-
Isn't Iron Blooded Orphans a bit not that old to do a remake?
-
Gundam Wing is the only one I could stand. Never heard of Iron Blood.
-
Isn't Iron Blooded Orphans a bit not that old to do a remake?
The first Gundam show wasn't even five years old when they compiled it into a trilogy of movies.
-
Didn't they also ignore Goliath & Xanatos no longer being adversarial?
It didn't ignore that. The setup was Xanatos was still Xanatos… but he had matured and owed the Gargs too much so he stopped messing with them specifically..
As opposed to the Goliath Chronicles where he and Fox became straight up goody goods which was nonsense.
-

If I recall, the idea being that Xanatos will always be Xanatos, but fatherhood teaches you some responsibility. And by having baby Alex, who is both magically powerful and the heir to an empire, he created the immorality that he had been seeking. Right?

Beast Wars
Funnily enough after you mention that, articles about the new Transformers movie, called "Rise of the Beasts", specifically mentions having the characters Optimus Primal, Rhinox, and Airrazor.
https://sg.style.yahoo.com/transformers-rise-of-the-beasts-feature-beast-transformers-terrorcons-022053279.htmlWith fucking RON PERLMAN as Optimus Primal.

I'm so torn on this. I want this to be good
-
Casting Ron Perlman definitely gives it an edge.
And while not confirmed, there are whispers of names like Scorponok, Waspinator, and Inferno going around.
-
The third season of War for Cybertron is also pulling the BW cast in.
Primal sounds freakin weird.
-
Not sure if it should be here or in the videogame thread, but this has potential for some deep 90's pulls:
What kind of black magic do I have to perform to get the Angry Beavers in?
-
So basically this is an exact copy of Super Smash Bros but with Nickelodeon characters instead?
Points for using Powdered Toast Man though.
-
I'll be surprised if there is no Jimmy Neutron and Fairly Oodparents.
-
and now the nigel memes will sprout up in droves again.
-
I'm surprised Oblina is representing AHH! Real Monsters instead of Ickis.
