With Magellan and Hannyabal becoming more and more sympathetic characters I think somehow Luffy will have to win them over before escaing ID, possibly by aiding them after he sees BB OHKO Magellan.

I kinda envision Magellan about to chase after Luffy and being stopped by a blackening hand on his shoulder from behind, cut to Magellan KO'd and foaming or something. This might reveal more of the nature of BB's power to Luffy as well. The specifics don't really matter, but I don't feel like Luffy and Magellan will match up again, but that Magellan will be dishonorably defeated by a real villain and earn Luffy's empathy. Poison-ossan is just doing his job, and after Hannyabal's moving speech, Luffy will have to do something to vindicate his cause, at least partially, in the eyes of those who value upholding justice, and us, the readers.

Oda is not going to make Luffy morph into a purely selfish anti-hero, he is very heroic in his own right. Also Chief and Vice-Warden are nowhere near as despicable as they might've first seemed, and are probably more aligned with Luffy's ethos than we think. (Hannyabal even has a dream!)

could luffy and his jail break crew possibly keep running away from magellan while they create barriers for him and end up running outside? that way luffy can fight magellan outide in the harbor instead of in the jail. maybe mr 3 can give luffy some wax gloves or something.

Really? I based it on how much I felt like I could figure out on my own. I did make a mistake in that list with Brook, he should be up at least one spot higher, maybe two.

Chopper's on the bottom because I figure he'll work things out there and one of those giant birds will bring him back. So while I want to see if I'm right, I'd much rather see those people like Robin who I'm absolutely clueless about. Franky should be second to the bottom because the whole upgrade his cyborg-ness and head back seems fairly obvious. Nami might need to be third from the bottom as the weather thing is crazy obvious, but I'm very curious to know how she'll get back down.

As for Robin, I am 100% clueless as to what the deal is with the bridge, what she'll do there, and how she'll get back. I definitely want to see her story the most. We agree on Usopp, I'm really intrigued to see what happens with him. Nobody seems to know what's going on with Zoro, what he does there and how he gets back are both very interesting to me. With Brook I'm very curious about what he does there, and with Nami I'm very curious about how she'll get back (I have a strange feeling that her weather abilities will link her with Dragon, somehow).

well, there is no arguing about taste but i'd go with the most interesting storylines + images cause something like zoro and perona would normally turn out to be halerious but there won't be any text bubbles in a coverstory so it's most likely not as interesting to watch as usopp and brooks coverstory which are friggin crazy. you just can't tell that much of a story with titlepages especially when the entire CS is split up to eight different mini CSs but hopefully (g)Oda will create a seperate book to show us their journeys in detail later!
my final list would be usopp, brook, chopper, franky, nami, zoro, robin.

at the end of One Piece (which will be political) everyone will see how wrong they have been and declare Luffy Pirate king and ruler of the earth making everyone a nakama of the SH's with zoro, sanji and coby becoming admirals in Luffys new world order. Luffy will start to freak out by all this obtained power and becomes tirannic and then the gutsy ninja will come to save the day by not killing anyone. . .

didn't shiryu say "i don't want magellan coming down here" or something like that, which would indicate that he went down again in order to fetch something or someone perhaps or was it a mistranslation?

I think he got caught (tripped, collapsed because he was out of breath, etc.) and they dolled him up against his will. If you look at what KiShiDo pointed out, he certainly doesn't look happy. He's either going to make a break for it or beat the heck out of them all. So it's not that he's being trained, it's that they've had their fun playing "dress up" with him like how little girls put bows and stuff on their dogs or cats… and how the dogs and cats probably don't like it one bit.

the demon guards won't be concious until all okama have broken out. it took minotaur more than a day to get back on his feet and recover to a fighting state when luffy took him down. that one DG even had to take a giant pistol, the other fishmen kempo and the last one is the only one that can ever hope to be pummeled again by someone in this arc.

also pandaman was spoted and pointed out on day 1 hour 1 as i recall it…

I see your point, though I cant see Shiryuu being fast/stealthy enough to make it down faster than BB could and slipping past Magellan etc to get to a lower floor than him
wasnt there some area like where he is when they were going to search Hancock? Maybe its just my memory going wrong, I cba to check ^^
