Sorry but the "NO ONE" and "ALL" in that sentence parses as a broad generalization to me.
OTOH, I don't care either way. I figured Palochka was joking; otherwise I'd have to assume they never read the story at all. It was just an irresistable dig.
IN ONE PIECE, NO ONE DIES IN FLASHBACKS. THEY ALL DIE IN THE MAIN STORY.
This is how it is now, guys. GET USED TO IT.
Kuina, Bellemere, Hiluluk, Norland, the Island of Ohara, and the Rumba Pirates would like a word with you.
I use mine to roll Shounen Blunts. I'm sure my respiratory problems are totally unrelated though.
but Moria died…...............[sobb]
Seriously, no need to have more build-ups for an already dead-announced char.Boring-
I love the exposition of cooldown chapters the best, they are usually the most revealing about the One Piece world. Also the tension of those climactic battles gets tiresome after a while, although Oda sustains it well enough, I feel a huge relief when we get to relax with chapters like these last couple and a few huge questions finally get answered (Dadan!).
The only way to get to the NW if you aren't in the Grand Line, would be through the Calm Belt and that's only if you're in North or West Blue. How many strong people there're in those two seas that we know of? None.
Well we do know East Blue is supposedly the weakest/most peaceful sea. It makes sense that the seas surrounding the New World would harbor stronger characters since anything coming from the Grand Line on that side of the world would be coming from the most dangerous ocean anywhere, and there would have to be some of that (Krieg managed to escape the Grand Line – barely -- so it is possible).
I thought this was a great episode, regardless of filler and a couple annoying liberties taken with the dialog. Very intense. Magellan was properly terrifying at the end. There were a couple of frustrations but it delivered on the action and overall feel.
I was more disappointed in last week's failure to have the Hannyabal rally, "Hannya Hannya! The Bal!"
Hannyabal's greatest moment (besides his speech), no song or dance, nothing. These past two eps and recent manga revelations have made me sympathetic to the ID crew, I hope they return to the story somehow.
