Yeah, the Borat and Ali G guy.

I'm still not sure whether I actually liked Borat or not. None the less I want to see this movie at some point.

It looks pretty funny. I loved Borat and I hope I find Bruno just as funny.
That O.J joke slayed me xD Dunno why tho but it seems a little more staged than Borat. But if its made by Cohen it will probably be hilarious beyond belief, the man has never let me down so far.
I loved Borat so I really can't wait for this to come out. real shame they pushed back the opening date however.
I loved the Ali G shows, however, I always thought the Bruno parts were the worst :S
I'm with Toastboy here. Somehow he was always my last favorite of Cohen's roles. Don't know why, But I always liked Borat and Ali G much more.
But to be fair, the trailer was funny, mainly because it wasn't only about Bruno being gay. I'm really sick of gay jokes. Not because I'm an over sensible pussy, more because I really can't hear them any more. It was just too much lately.
Borat was awful.
The series for Borat was so SO much better.
I never liked the Bruno segments before so I'm not really interested in this one
Movie was hideous oozing out of ten different orifices; I want to see the series just for curiosity's sake of comparison.
This looks very, very promising.
I was one of those few Americans that LOVED Da Ali G show and raved about it to all my friends years before Borat became a big hit, so I have high hopes. BUT, Ali G and Borat are hilarious characters(Ali G MUCH funnier than Borat btw) but Bruno isn't nearly as interesting. His schtick was always about exposing homophobia and making people say blasphemous and intolerant things. Which is funny, but Bruno doesn't have a ton of memorable character quirks and stuff.

THE ALI G SHOW!!! It was the damn "Borat the series". GhOD!! >:(
Luckily, besides gay stuff, being über superficial and mocking fashion industry seems like two other major things he will be doing in this movie.
There were segments in the Ali G show but he did have his own series too.
No, in the second Ali G Show series ( Ali G in da USA ) each characters parts were just longer. There never was a series only starring Borat.

I'm fairly certain Borat didn't have his own series.
Edit: Why is my post up here? It should be down below SympathyX's post.
ahh yeah is fashioncharacter…so far all movies from him were rly funny so iam looking forward to this 1...

Saw the trailer today. One or two funny bits but overall looked to be terrible.
the oj scene was pretty funny, i also heard ron paul is in this movie
Can't wait it's going to be amazing. I just hope it's rated R in Canada. (The rating system is retarded here, most R-rated movies in the States get an 18-A here, but some movies do indeed get the R-rating. example - Jackass 2) That way, I won't have to worry about being surrounded by 14 year old kids in the theatre.
Ali G was the shit. I actully Liked it better than Borat. Idk it's something about rich white kids wanting to be gangsta that makes it funny. But Nonetheless Im seeing Bruno.
Yup, heard about this !
Looks funny, and apparently one of Cohen's stints as Bruno 'scarred someone for life'

The Ali G movie is scripted though :\
The Ali G tv show is brilliant.
def checking this out.
p.s. sacha is jewish, dude.
@Ao:
p.s. sacha is jewish, dude.
How does that matter at all?
"white" isn't exactly jewish.
it had to do with the 'white guys acting ghetto comment'.
Rich white jewish kid trying to be gangsta is basically the same thing.
Jews are white by and large. If Greeks and Italians are the same race as Sami and Swedes so are almost all ethnic Jews.
Do not mix our tanned hairy race with those pale hairless freaks!
Ali G and Borat were fantastic !
I sure have to watch this in the cinema.
Just returned from watching it. It was disturbingly funny or is it funnily disturbing? Anyways I've loved it.^^

Are ANY of these types of movies ever comedic gold?
I'll go see it. Looks to be a bit funny. Borat makes me laugh, I never thought it would but it did. Maybe because I'm so easily amused, but that actually had some funny moments. It might have been amusing because it was overly ridiculous and vulgar to the point you had to laugh, IDK.
Is there a naked fight? If so, I'm going tomorrow. That was the best scene in Borat. If not, I could wait for a DVD.
I started choking from laughing at the naked fight. I totally agree, best scene in that movie.
I won't be surprised if there aren't any gripes about the fact that he is jewish and acting like a nazi with the soldiers in this film :P But those jokes are what made Borat priceless.
I'm pumped for Brüno tonight, baby!
Sach Baron Cohen is the man.
The movie is hilarious, but flatout wrong at times…
I went to see this today and wow. Just like Ivotas said, I don't know whether it was disturbingly funny or funnily disturbing, but overall it was every bit of hilarious. I almost choked on my candy while laughing.
For some reason I now really want to buy an exercise bicycle with a dildo attached to it.
watch it yesterday with german subtitle..
it was just awesome:blink:
my 3 friends and i loved it…its , well, not that easy humour ,but just brilliant.... sad some scenes weren
t used in the end product, but yeah you have to see the movie when you liked borat..it`s clearly better than borat!
and that has something to mean
Now how in the hell did he get his tv show idea presented for a test audience without anyone checking it out before hand is beyond me, but i nearly died laughing when i saw his dancing boner.
Borat was more un-even but still funnier overall, but Bruno doled it out laugh after laugh in a steady fashion.
Bruno was glorious, fun time was had.
I do prefer Borat, which was more quotable too, but Bruno is a very solid follow up.
Looking forward to what Sacha Baron Cohen has up next.
Bruno made Borat look like a Disney Movie.
it was funny, outrageous, and just plain "wtf?" at times. I enjoyed it but I still think Borat was the better of the two films. I really enjoyed the interviews of the film and felt there should have been more of those present.
Lutz was ok but by no means was he as good as Alzamat from Borat.
And damn Michael Jackson dieing before the film is released… They permantly deleted his scene forever.
Just got back from seeing it. Sacha Baron Cohen delivers once again! I don't think it was quite as a Borat, but definitely a worthy follow-up.
I don't think it was the funniest scene, but one part that really stood out for me was when he was doing the child auditions and he was asking the parents if they were okay with their children being exposed to dangerous or highly questionable situations. And then the parents are totally okay with it and seems like they just want to cash in on their children. I think that's pretty disgusting and shows just how low we can go as a society.
That part felt pretty scripted, they didnt even bat an eyelash at an infant operating heavy machinery. Seriously nobody is that stupid.
Favorite part has to the end, Straight Dave and when the uber redneck started crying xD
Definitely going to check it out in the next days. I already loved the little parts they showed during the Ali G show
(anyone remembers the infamous "ish don't think so"?)
and this movie probably won't be any different.
Good thing is, behind all the nonsense there's still some kind of message. It may be hard to spot but it's there! xD
@The:

What do you mean? Tell me more, they had a scene with Michael?

Well, that's the problem. Sometimes it's hard to tell when something's scripted and when it's not. If it was scripted then that definitely makes me fell better about it. Actually, a lot of Borat looked like it was very scripted.
Not sure what my favorite scene. The whole bit with him trying to turn straight and the Ron Paul scene were pretty funny.
What do you mean? Tell me more, they had a scene with Michael?
Think it was a scene with Latoya Jackson about stealing her cellphone so he could get in touch with the talented Jackson.
Dunno about Borat, as a whole that movie seemed alot more sincere. Only the part with the prostitue seemed overly scripted.

Which part with the prostitute? I saw a documentary on Sacha and Borat yesterday and they say the scene with the dinner party wasn't scripted at all. They asked a lady to set up a dinner party for a foreigner so that he could learn about America and she did. The Borat showed up as the guest.
Just saw the movie today, great stuff. Sometimes it gets a little too gross but those are also the parts where it's the most funny.

Well the prostitute was really a comedian/actress. Her name is Luenell.
Just generaly the scenes she were in seemed a little more forced than the rest, but since she's apparently an actor that explains alot.
Got look up that documentary tho, whats it called?
