Might be too far fetched, but the generic face at the end could mean that it is still character/story focused and perfectly fine playable in singleplayer. MMO would be disappointing, but right now I'm hopeful so I'm just glad that it looks great and the team does a good job enhancing Nintendos portfolio further. They might shame Square Enix even more if it comes out before the end of next year and Versus still aint here, lol. With 400k views in a few days, hopefully Nintendo also realises the potential and markets it properly. Goddamn Nintendo of America waiting for positive response from JP and EU before making Xenoblade only available as a collectors item was just ridiculous.

RE: LoZ: WindWaker Wii U
Wind Waker doesn't need more dungeons, but a more fleshed out world map. The sea was way too empty and boring. For this to not remain the weakest 3D Zelda, there need to be real weather effects that actually affect the gameplay, other ships, more interesting islands that aren't as obvious to find (not just one per square…), etc. Anything that doesn't make sailing such a torture, even with warping. (Also, insta-wind changing on the gamepad, please...)
Not too mention that the goddamn triforce fetch quest has to go obviously. Even Aonuma knows about this and actually had to make a excuse for that one before TP came out, which gives a possibility this might actually be a more refined remake, but it would really have to be on par with Metroid Zero Mission to significantly improve the quality and I'm not sure they gonna do that. Especially after OoT 3D and how this is already out in Fall. -
RE: The Nintendo Thread
I don't understand the whole figure thing. There's no way it'll work with just normal figures.

RE: The Nintendo Thread
Mario is Mario; Why should people have a problem with that!?!?!?
If it's just like the demo last year, it's going to feel like a cheap cash-in at best. NSMBWii already did, even though it actually had good levels (unlike the DS game). Not to mention that the whole aesthetics and music of the New Mario series generally feel terribly bland compared to the other main games.
Regardless of that, Nintendo will have a great E3. As usual, when their generations are about to start. I imagine that they had to rush the reveal last year, because of the leaks. This time, they'll go full out with their 1st party and it will be beautiful. Pikmin and Mario were known, so they can safely talk about it, but of course they still have tons of surprises left.

RE: Killer is Dead (next Suda51 game)
Seems like he once again isn't directing himself (which he didn't since No More Heroes1). Which to me at this point means, that I shouldn't expect that they'll achieve the magnitude of Killer 7 anytime soon. Still the best trip you can get out of a videogame.

RE: Xenoblade Chronicles
Last Story? Pandora's Tower? Dragon Quest X?
still a lil bit of life left.
Better than nothing I guess.
In EU I'll pretty damn sure pick up Project Zero 2 Remake (Fatal Frame 2), but that doesn't come out until summer in Japan even and other than that… Wii is pretty dead.

RE: The Nintendo Thread
I've beaten it in 2 and a half hours, but only spent a couple of cents. 8€ is pretty high, but there's a level creator and the option to play user generated levels, which can probably increase play time a lot. (among other unlockables)

RE: The Nintendo Thread
VVVVV. I got it in the Humble Indie Bundle for PC and it's pretty great. Platformer with slight Metroidvania design, really good music and retro graphics. No idea how much it costs on eshop though. Probably not worth it, if the price is in the heights of Shantae.
Also, is Cavestory on the EU eshop yet? You might wanna get that, if you didn't already elsewhere… -
RE: Resident Evil 6
By "going Call of Duty" we mean that it's abandoning the survival horror audience that it was targeted to before and changing to try to appeal to the "over the top action" audience that makes up the majority of the Call of Duty audience.
Yes, shouldn't be too hard to understand. And those were not my words. It's literally what Capcom has said. http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/887945-resident-evil-to-attract-call-of-duty-players-says-capcom Perhaps WiiU gets a
,,spinoff''non-numbered entry like Revelations or Code Veronica, which might be closer to the series roots before this generation. A shame that the former is not playable on a big screen. -
RE: Resident Evil 6
It doesn't tie in with an FPS in the slightest dude.
I liked what I've seen of the demo, felt like the old games or
(Which still partially made it into the final game though). But many reviews complain that it also partially tends to go into shitty RE5 territory again even though the main part on the ship seems to be in the vein of the real Resident Evil games. I just wonder how much of the game plays like TPS and how much of it like the demo? Didn't read anything specific in any review. :/ But I'm expecting a price drop for Revelations before I get an 3DS, so I'll probably pick it up anyway.
Now I'm curious about the RE6 demo (which will be uploaded on YouTube anyway, no need for Dragons Dogma…) and whether it shows a similar split of styles. Even though Leon parts still looked even more action heavy than RE4, it might have a better expression later. All hope's lost for Chris though, after some suits at Capcom now have officially decided to go after the Call of Duty market.
